I made a request for an appointment via their website. The next day an appointment was made. Johnny came out gave us a fair price for the replacement of the gutters and to install the Rhino Gutter Guard system. The crew came out as scheduled and did a great job of removing and replacing our gutters. I would recommend Great Lakes Gutter Company to anyone.

John and crew arrived on site early to set up and promptly began work at the agreed upon time. Good communication throughout the entire process - from estimate to job completion. All team members were polite and professional, worked well together and completed the job in an efficient manner. Wouldn't know they'd even been there except for the nice, new gutters!

This is a top of the line company. They quoted me the best price and use the best materials. Their installers, (Gary, John and Mike) are true professionals and made sure the colors matched perfectly and that I was completely satisfied.

I sent them by email pictures of my old gutters; they found the view of my home at Google Maps or Google Earth, and gave me a quote without even coming to my house, the same day. Their ptice was the lowest, and they completed the job within 1 week.

It went fine. I was a little disappointed. I had to ask for the colors and was mailed the color choices on a very small sheet. The color I chose is slightly lighter than I would prefer. It would have been nice to choose the color when they were here to measure, and have their input based on their experience.

Went very well, Mike was super, answered all my questions and both of them did a great job! Would highly recommend, professional, great results, knew what they were doing!

It was not a complete siding job, it was only for areas that needed it. Everything was fine.

The product is great. I'd give them an A but then were late when they came to give me an estimate, and one of the downspouts needs to be repositioned and they told me they'd have to come out when they are already in the area for this service. I discovered the downspout was flooding into my garage a few days after they were installed when there was a heavy rain. It looks like I will have to follow up with them again to get that serviced.

JUst called to get a quote on cleaning, and repair of a downspout and was informed they no longer provide the services unless they installed the original gutters. MIsleading based on Angie's List reviews, etc.

The crew arrived early and mentioned I was their only job that day so they were going to take their time to do a good job. Over all they did a great job, but when the supervisor came to the door to say the job was complete, I asked if he would take me around so I could look at the work and when I did the gutter in the front of the house at the one end there was a long wire with my sprinkler sensor hanging there quite a distance from the house and when I mentioned that it was not there hanging when they came & started the job he then told me it was. I said it was not and it was in the original gutter because it was a rain sensor for my sprinkler system that it set on automatic so when it rains the sprinklers don't go on. One of the other guys came up and said it was in the gutter & that they will put it back but the supervisor said it could not be done because the guards were attached to the gutter. Needless to say I had to tell him to cut the wire from the ground and hopefully when they come out to start up the sprinkler system I won't have a problem. I have been a member of Angie's list for quite some time and rely on the reviews of customers, I have used several companies with very good results. I would recommend your company, I think the work was well done and your product seems to be of good quality. I think when a woman has some work to be done on her home and we have questions or notice things we are not taken seriously or dismissed. I do think the supervisor could have caught this error before the gutter guards were put into place and not made me feel like I was in the wrong. Thank you Rene Klein

They were supposed to come back with another expansion to a down sprout and they didn't do it. But then they told me someone got sick and then they couldn't work and you know there was a good excuse for that. But that was the only thing I had to like call them back couple times to get that done.

John gave us a detailed estimate and outlined our options clearly. The crew arrived on time, and discussed what the installation entailed. They were very efficient and flexible, suggesting changes to improve the water flow away from the foundation. In short, John was straight with us and the crew did an excellent job with the installation, all at a fair price. Five stars.

The folks in the office were very professional; pertinent questions when making the appointment. The estimate was quickly given and I was impressed with the options available; they carry a particular gutter guard that other vendors did not have. My only complaint was that there was a miscommunication on the time of service. Apparently some supplies had been back-ordered & they had forgot to contact me. However, at the final day, the crew arrived and did a stellar job. The crew worked very quickly & efficiently! My gutters were replaced in less than 3 hours. Very friendly group, cheerfully worked through a rainstorm without complaint.

I selected Great Lakes to replace my gutters because of Jeff's knowledge and can do attitude. I was not home at the time of the quote. I had some questions and concerns about some rotten wood, gutter extensions and gutter connections. He answered all my questions and assured me they could replace the wood. The final cost of the wood replacement would be on the job and is priced by the foot. Also, my roof is large with various pitches to it and of the three quotes Jeff was the only one to suggest 6" gutters versus the standard 5". The 3-man team showed up at 8AM and worked diligently throughout a very hot day completing the job around 4PM. Great Lakes made sure to send out a team member skilled in cutting angles on the wood replacement. He did a great job and even painted and caulked it. There was a glitch in connecting the larger gutter into our existing brick scape drain. The team leader did not think they would be able to do it. However, John the owner had the solution - problem solved! I was very impressed with the owner and how he handled the situation. Things can happen on any job contracted, it is how it is addressed that makes all the difference. This company clearly values the reputation they have earned. It shows in the quality of work, the staff, the attention to detail, and the can do attitude. I would highly recommend Great Lakes Gutters.

I've been researching different companies that sell and install gutter systems and Great Lakes impressed me with their great reviews here on Angie's List and their fair prices. I called to receive an estimate and they were very courteous and respectful. I was out of town for a few days, and they were able to go to my home and write up an estimate which they emailed to me. I called and set up an installation date. The installers who showed up called ahead and gave me a time of arrival. They showed up on time, were very professional and polite and finished the installation in under 3 hours. They cleaned up everything and my new gutters look great! Highly recommend this company!

Excellent response time to initial inquiry on Angie's List (same day!) Provided an estimate and bid within one week and I didn't need to be home to get the estimate which was really convenient. Responded to all questions about the estimate promptly. A detailed estimate was emailed to me. Did not try to oversell me with a more expensive option. Gave me a fair price for the project and a 5% discount for being a Angie's List member. John Laurie's team is top-notch. Stephanie kept me well informed about our appointments and the job was done completely and professionally in approximately 3 hours. The two men who did the installation were efficient and friendly. I would highly recommend this company.

Johny is an asset to this organization . Was there to give an estimate , followed up , and I was surprised that on the day of installation, he was working with the crew.

I called early in the week. I was told a sales person would call me back the next day. That never happened. I called again and had to leave a message. I still have not talked to anyone that could help.

Exceptional! Johnny arrived at our home answered all our questions and gave us a fair quote. We knew from our first meeting with Johnny, that this was the company for us. We called and set up a installation date Wednesday, January 21, 2015 but we had to reschedule because of snow. On Friday, January 23rd, Ron and the crew arrived ready to work. These guys operate like a precision drill team. Ladders up, Gutters off. These guys replaced rotted boards, redirected the new gutter system for better drainage away from the house. They even repaired a small hole near my roof. All this in 5 hours, including clean-up. Thank You Guys!

We're very pleased with the work. The installers were prompt, courteous and very helpful in suggesting ways to improve drainage away from the house. The Rhino gutter guards were perfect for keeping leaves and debris from gutters. The product worked as advertised and kept me off the ladder. Well worth the money.
