Our 110 year old home needed help. We have lived in this residence for almost 43 years and now it needed more than just “band-aiding.” After checking out several companies, to the rescue came Great Lakes Gutter Company. We were immediately impressed during the initial contact when Bill talked to two very knowledgeable, patient and welcoming receptionists, Kaitlin and Stephanie. After having our home painted, it was time to add the gutters. Rob Noe, Project Manager, came to our location, surveyed the issues, listened to what we wanted and presented a plan of action with reasonable estimated costs as to what would be involved. It was definitely a challenge that they were willing to take on. From the very beginning Kevin and Micah arrived with welcoming smiles, energy and a focus. They unloaded ladders, tools and quality materials (which reflected the color choice that we had given). Having a very old home presented aged problems; but nothing that this incredible team couldn't tackle and overcome with their creative mission. There was open communication with us and a definite focus on positive customer relations which was always evident. Each of them was positive and self-directed as the work progressed. At times the heat and humidity of Michigan's notorious summer weather would have slowed down most workmen, but not these guys. We don't know if they took any breaks; each hour produced visible progress. It was obvious that they wanted to be on-schedule. The flurry of accurate action was like worker bees. This company was detail-oriented with perfection as a goal. The gutters have given our home new and extended life thanks to Great Lakes Gutters. We chose the xtreme guard because we have lots of woods around the house. The clean-up effort was efficient and complete with a final inspection when Kevin and Micah had us accompany them around the whole house for any comments or alterations. They definitely had a mark of pride in their work. We would highly recommend this fantastic business. Their work ethic is something to behold and they are terrific, inspiring role-models for others. Excellent. The installers were both really friendly, professional, and hard workers. They did an excellent job. They made sure to ask me where I wanted all the downspouts, and did a great job of cleanup when they were done. Also, Kaitlin was a joy to work with on the phone. She got me the day & time I wanted. It only took 1/2 day to install.

John L. Came out the next day with a quote. Very knowledgeable and professional. He also did troubleshooting of my concerns. If the three estimates they were the best price. Installation was today. The crew was timely. Service was performed exceptionally. And, clean up was done as well. I would recommend this company.

Great Lakes Gutter just completed the tear down and new installation of our higher volume gutters. John who initially quoted our job was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful in describing what needed to be done. The installation crews walked me through what was discussed before the job started to confirm the work to be done. When finished, the crew walked me through the entire job to once again confirm the work. Everyone was great and the job looks fantastic! Highly recommend Great Lakes Gutter.

Work was completed on time and in a professional manner. Area was cleaned and all old material removed.

Perfect, it looks great, they did a good job. They scratched up a piece of gutter, so they cut it down and put on a new piece.

From the estimate to completion the employees were professional, punctual, respectful and accommodating. They do quality work.

Not good. We called their office with a fairly substantial gutter repair/modification project for our Livonia facility. After describing the project, the woman did not seem very interested in the work and stated that 'we only do full installations'. Fair enough, but a very mypoic business model to only take on installation.

We received an at-home estimate from Great Lakes Gutter and decided to hire them based on the price, their reputation, the product they offered and the knowledge of their representative. On the work day the crew of workers removed our old gutters and replaced them with new seamless gutters with xtreme gutter guards. They were polite, efficient and cleaned up nicely after themselves. We are very happy with the job they did and our new gutters. They make our home look great and no more unsightly leaky gutters!

All interactions with company personnel were positive and professional. We found them to be responsive, timely, and efficient. They did not try to sell us more than we needed. A very positive experience.

Out of the two companies I called for quotes, Great Lakes Gutters were the only one that actually came to my house. I liked that because he was able to better recommend services (rather than just go by a satellite image of my house for sizing... which is what the other company did). The installation went well... the three man crew showed up on time, did the work quickly and cleaned up after themselves.

I had quotes from 3 other places. Johnny arrived at appointed time for quote and patiently answered all of my questions that day and in subsequent phone calls. Job went well except for delay in start time. Appointment was for 9:00 a.m. Around 1:00 p.m. I called office and was told the job they were on was taking longer than anticipated, but they would definitely be here. Two installers finally arrived round 4 p.m., were courteous, apologized for the delay and began work immediately. About a half hour later two more trucks with additional workers arrived. Work progressed quickly, new gutters installed and everything completed and cleaned up before dark. Gutters seem to be handling water well and look great. I have recommended Great Lakes to others.

Instead of having something over the gutters, there is a mesh stuck inside and lets the water flow but keeps the gunk out. I have been pretty happy with it overall. Once a year, I typically have an extension on my shopvac and go around the house with my shopvac. That was the first thing we did to the house. The existing gutters were plugged up and pulling away from the house. It was a mess.

Definitely do not hire this company…all they do is make excuses! Get EVERYTHING in writing, do not leave ANYTHING to chance. Due to getting a late start, the crew rushed through the job so they could get to the next one ASAP. After the job was completed, I had to call about the damage to my siding and the old gutter spike holes being left exposed…simple carelessness! After numerous calls, Johnny returned to inspect my claims. He was condescending, defensive and retracted any verbal commitments that he made when the contract was initiated...I told him to leave my property! Through follow-up calls to the office, I was finally able to get to the owner. He agreed to adjust my bill to offset a portion of the damage to my house while not affecting my written warranty. Two months later, a downspout has now broken away from a wall. I have been calling for nearly two weeks, requesting to speak with the owner or his son. Neither of them has responded; however, Stephanie and Johnny have given excuse after excuse, refused to schedule someone to come out, threatened my written warranty and accused me of being a scammer. Where is their priority for a paid customer and standing behind the work they have already done? This is a straightforward 15-minute repair job!

Johnny arrived Tuesday morning. I told him I wanted a face lift to the exterior of my home. We walked the perimeter of my home a he took his measurements for the items discussed. He told me he would email me with the estimate by the next day. Well its been 5 days. I have called the office twice and spoke with Stephanie......she has no clue as to why Johnny has not sent estimate. She told me she would find out and contact me. Guess what?? I have not heard from her either. This company must have so much business they don't have to follow up with their potential customers. I'm so done!!

I was very impressed by the whole experience from sales to the job completion. They came out to quote within a day of our contacting them, and did not try to up-sell unnecessary add-ons at all. Scheduling was very easy and the crew showed up right on time. The day they did the installation was pouring rain, and they did the work anyway. The crew was professional, had great ideas on re-locating some of our downspouts from problem areas, and cleaned up after the work was complete. Absolutely no complaints, and would definitely recommend them.

Poorly- This company had such postiive reviews, I was looking forward to obtaining pricing.

The company was very responsive to me and quick to complete the job. They worked around the fact that I work during the day and made it as easy for me as it could be. Did a great job of cleaning up the job site after they finished and took my old gutters with them. You will not be disappointed in hiring them!
