We were quoted one price by the owner for two hours of work. Two men showed up for the job, that one man could have done in the two hour estimate. We were given a bill that was $50 higher. No communication, just the bill. After contacting the owner, he said, "my husband hadn't been sure about what we needed", which was a complete fabrication, as I was listening in the other room. Very shady.

I was given a description of all the work to be done and the parts needed to complete the job with my quote. Electricians were punctual, very friendly and knowledgeable within their craft; and completed the work in a timely manner. Electricians (not sure if I could use their name,) also guided me in the right direction with some other problems that I was having with my house. Arnold Electric is now my go to electrician for any future projects or problems of this nature.

Mike, who lived near us, came the next day and did the work. He was prompt, professional, friendly, and gave us through explanations. Would definitely hire again.

This company was great! I called them for an estimate and the responded quickly. After the estimate, I was able to schedule the work quickly. They did a great job on a very hot summer day. They were professional, personable, and fabulous!

I started by contacting Arnold Electric to request a bid for a lighting project. I was asked to submit a list of what we needed done, along with pictures, via email. I called and emailed a number of times: to confirm they received my email; to see if they needed any more information; to check their progress and give them a deadline for the bid; and a reminder, near the deadline, that I needed the bid. Not a single response! If you don't want the business, at least call or email to decline. I find it unprofessional to be left hanging.

Excellent job, Mike was at my house early on Saturday morning and had the problem fixed in less then 1 hour! Great job and would highly recommend.

I made an appointment for an estimate. No one showed up or called to say they couldn't make it. Very rude and unprofessional. I wasted an hour waiting for them.

Mike came and quoted the job the day after I called him, and we scheduled the job for the next week. The staff that performed the work were prompt, professional and courteous. The job was done within a couple of hours, and the quality of the work was great.

I called Mike after a blown circuit wouldn't reset causing my garage door opener to not function. Mike came out the next morning and figured out that a handyman had not wired an outdoor light correctly and fixed the problem. He also removed some electrical wires from a bathroom that I was demolishing. His price was very reasonable and was able to fit me in the next day even during the holidays. Would definitely recommend!

Look no further for an electrician!! We hired Mike from Arnold Electric to replace our electric panel but, while he was here we threw a few extra/unexpected projects at him. He handled all of them with professionalism and patience. He took the time to explain what needed to be done and gave us several different options for the additional repairs. Mike arrived on time for our appointment and worked efficiently so that the projects were completed quickly. In addition, as with any project, there was minor clean up that needed to be done. We didn't have to worry because Mike took the extra time to take care of this before he left! It's rare to find such excellent customer service like this anymore! His pricing was very reasonable and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone! We look forward to having him back to complete one more project and know that we never need to look for another electrician. We can't say enough about Arnold Electric. If you're looking for an honest, knowledgeable electrician give him a call!

The electricians were checking in with me regularly to make sure the lights were installed exactly where we wanted them. Their attention to detail was excellent and they were very professional. There was one point where we had a slight disagreement on pricing of one light and after a quick phone call to the owner he was very reasonable and agreeable to a solution. I really appreciated their customer service.

My family room was in desperate need of overhead lighting and I knew that Arnold Electric could provide a perfect solution. We decided to install 8, 6", soft white LEDs with Mike's recommendation. Our home was without power for most of a day when I tried to connect my new portable generator to my transfer switch which has a plug in our garage. I searched the web for Livonia electricians that night and found Arnold Electric. I try to do business with local companies whenever possible. I telephoned at 8 AM and Mike answered. He was in his truck. After explaining the problem, but forgetting to tell Mike that I was out of power, he said he'd swing by my house within 10 minutes as he was nearby. He arrived as he said and reviewed my portable generator, its cord, wall plug and basement transfer switch. He told me the plugs were wrong, which I knew, but that they were not code. I told me he'd install a generator wall plug and box, raise the plug up to waist height for easier connecting (I'm late 60's) and don't like getting down on the hard garage floor!) and install the correct plug on the generator's cord. He had to return to his office to get the necessary parts and returned within 30 minutes. Another 30 minutes the job was complete! Mike had me start my generator and he checked that everything was working property. He was pleased to hear my furnace start and the refrigerator come on, as I was! Mike was very kind, knowledgeable and I would definitely have him do any electrical work I need to have done! I heartily recommend Arnold Electric!.

Called Arnold @ Nov 15th to see about a small repair job, left a voice mail. My call was returned that same day and after describing what I needed I was told that it sounded like a service job and was told that it would be $85 for the service call and $85 per hour which I agreed to. I was told that they would call me after Thanksgiving to put me on the schedule. Today is December 18th and I am still awaiting that call. I have since contacted a different company and had the work completed. I am aware that my job was small, both in the task and in the cost. But many small jobs add up to some larger ones and may lead to more work. I will not contact this company again.

First impression, I was told they would be at my house at 8 a.m. sharp, and you always have a leeway with that. Well, 8 a.m. on the dot, they were backing in the driveway. First time for that kind of response. The two gentlemen that came were very professional and helpful, I asked for another circuit and they called the office and got a price right away on the phone, I approved the price and away they went. Extremely friendly and out going. Hard workers and did not waste time. Took the time to explain what they were going to do, and at the end of the job, I watched as they tested every circuit to make sure it was in good working order. I would use this service again and recommend them to friends and family. Good pricing and service, can't beat it.
