They did not pull permits for the furnace and AC install they did on my home in a historic Detroit neighborhood as required by both this neighborhood and the state. It was not until I inquired per my insurance company that he told me he did not do it, and it would be extra. Not during the quote or set up process but days later when I followed up. So now I have this unit in my home basically agaisnt code. I used a finance company he referred me to and could have easily added it on but he did not mention it at all. This is creating issues for me. Also the tech that came out (white guy) smelled really bad and the smell lingered Long after he was done. I’m going to have to come out another 500 now to get it done because it was not done properly in the first place. Beware of this company!

The price and timing was great . Furnace went out when it is too cold , I called American Air when we had those cold days and managed to install my furnace same which was great . I was so worried for my pipes but luckily we found this company . Highly recommended

We had a very positive experience. American Air did a fast, competent, professional job replacing our old furnace. We had a really old furnace, long overdue for replacement -- they replaced with a 97/98 efficiency which required some new plumbing and all new exhaust/intake venting run and old venting redone and tidied up. Shuaib really knows his work: he took the time to answer questions, explain anything we were interested to know, and make sure all the moving parts were handled, both when bidding the job and during the install. He was also on top of making sure we got our DTE rebate and so on. Within 48 hours of his visit they had the permit pulled, the furnace we'd requested, some specialty pieces fabricated to properly meet the old ducting, and were ready to install. His tech and helper were competent and professional and knew their trade as well. The inspector was ornery and nitpicky (as they should be) and the work passed no problem. The quote was about middle of the road, for what we expected (it was a pricey furnace) -- but the work was not! Hire with confidence!

It went GREAT!! I hardly ever leave reviews BUT with Shieb I was so pleased with his work. I was very apprehensive about getting on honest assessment on my furnace. However I called the company and Shieb came out the next morning. He was very professional and just did the right thing. He didn't try and sell me a furnace or mislead me about the condition of my furnace. Put it this way, I would send him to my grandmother house and trust him to do a good honest job at a very fair price. I was so impressed I gave him a nice TIP!! I'm going to have him come back and install a Smart Thermostat. If you are having any issues with you furnace, I would HIGHLY recommend you contact this company!!
