Services paid could not fix above their abilities to repair. not very professional and rude

My first call went to voicemail and I left a message. A woman called me back within an hour or so. I explained that my dishwasher caught fire the night before, and that it was a good thing we were awake and at home. She told me that I should never run an appliance while I'm sleeping or not at home. I didn't call for a lecture, thanks. She was generally rude while I scheduled an appointment, which was to be from 11-5 on a Wednesday. I asked for a more narrow window of time, but she could only do that on a Friday. Again, her attitude was generally poor. I called Bosch back to get more repair centers, and they provided another local company. I called them and they were very polite and accommodating of my schedule. When I called American-Dix back to cancel, she asked why, and I told her the schedule wasn't very accommodating, and she said and quot;11-12 on Friday isn't accommodating enough?and quot;, and then hung up on me. I called back to tell her that I also thought she was rude, which was confirmed by the hang-up. Generally not a good experience, which is a shame because some others had good reviews of their service. In the end, I found someone equally regarded by members, and with a more courteous customer service representative.

After they installed the new part, they were able to get the water running. Once the water was running, though, they were able to observe a larger problem that would have been really expensive to fix. They basically advised me at this point that I'd do better just buying a new dishwasher. I appreciated their honesty. They also seemed to be pretty flexible as far as scheduling.
