Mark's crew did a great job, prompt, professional and courteous. Removed the tree with no heavy equipment and cleaned up afterward. Power lines and garage were never in danger.

I've hired Wiseman Tree services twice, once for removing small trees and once for trimming large trees in my yard. Service was quoted accurately and performed on time. They left me wood chips as requested with the remnants of one job as well as cut wood or they can haul away. Best tree service I've ever used!

OUTSTANDING! The workers were punctual, professional, courteous and very hardworking. On an extremely hot day, they kept at it and got the job done. I have never seen a harder working and more safety-conscious group of guys. They were the best price of the estimates we received and the value exceeded the price. They're very efficient and they cleaned up the mess. They were reasonably priced. They came out and gave me an estimate on what needed to be done. The crew came out and did it very quickly. When they say they're going to do something, they're here on time and they get it done.

After a disappointing experience with another company, Wiseman responded to my call about an urgent tree removal (I had put in calls to both). The tree had fallen over the weekend in a wind storm, and needed to be removed before an approaching snow storm, on the advice of my building contractor. It was resting against the house and had already broken a portion of the patio roof. I didn't have high hopes as the other company said it would be a complicated job. Mark Mayhoe, the owner of Wiseman, came to look at the job and assured me it was no problem. He said he would remove the tree from the structures, and finish cutting it up and hauling it away the next day. (Really all I cared about was getting the tree away from the house; the clean up could be done after the snow melted.) In about an hour, the tree was off the structures! The next morning it was cleared away. The workers were courteous and friendly and completely understood my need for urgency. They agreed with my contractor that the added weight of the snow would likely cause more damage. I worked with this company once before on a shared tree removal with a neighbor, and I will now work with no one else.

When Mark came out to give the estimate he was very professional & knowledgeable. They showed up right on time. Did the work & cleaned up. The yard actually looked better after they left than it did when they got here. The crew was very nice & professional. Will definitely use again.

Wiseman Tree Service did a great job. They showed up on time and efficiently took down the two large trees and trimmed quiet a bit of the other 4 trees. When Mark came out to quote the business, he was very knowledgeable about why the trees were dying and what would be helpful for the trees. The crew that came in were professional and did a great job. I was also impressed with the cleanup they did afterwards. There were a lot of tree limbs that was taken out and there wasn't anything left in the yard. I would use Wiseman Tree again if I need any tree removal or trimming around the house.

Everything went well. They showed up when they said they would, did a great job, and had it finished that day. They had to take down part of my fence to make the job easier and they put it back together at the end of the day.

They did work for our Homeowners Association last year and we were so pleased more of the neighbors scheduled them for work. I saw them down the street and talked with Mark personally to tell him about the tree I had hoped to call him about. He came over right away, gave and estimate and sent the crew when they were done at the neighbors. It couldn't have worked out perfectly. They got more work but didn't have to drive back out here from Lansing.

It went very well. Pleased with their work crew. Excellent clean up, also came back to take care of the root and to pick up discarded limbs. The crew was so good, my neighbor across the street had asked them to do the same. Believe it or not, they returned the same day. I like that the owner of the company came by to assess the job and to get feedback.

I had a small tree whose branches were leaning up on my roof. I called about having the tree removed. Got a return call within a day and someone came out about a week after the call to give me a written estimate. Because I was out of town, I asked to have the work scheduled for early August. Got a phone call in early August, as requested, and they came out the same day and cut down the tree. Nice job. Good price. Quick work. I would definitely hire this company, again.

They did and excellent job. I had one tree that had a dead branch that could have fallen on my house and caused a lot of damage. The second tree had a branch hanging over my neighbor's yard plus other branches that needed to be trimmed. The last tree cutting was actually multi-branches that were hanging into my vertical ham radio antenna and was a big mess but they took care of that problem. This company is my tree trimmers from now on.

The Crimson King Maple in our front yard needed trimming and was growing close to the power lines. The trunk had also split, but appeared to be healing on its own. Eric, John, and the rest of the crew did an amazing job shaping the tree and patched the trunk to aid in the healing. Next, they moved to our Service Berry tree. In more than 20 years it has not been trimmed/shaped. Branches were crossing each other and rubbing against each other. Leaves were thinning, and the tree was seriously stressed. Again, they trimmed, thinned, and shaped the tree. It looks beautiful! Lastly, at the back of our lot is a big Spruce. It was a small table-top Christmas tree about 22 years ago and we planted it the following spring. The lowest branches had to be trimmed and dead branches cut away. They did a remarkable job shaping it and we can now mow beneath the tree. In all three cases, water & sun light can now reach the roots, and all three will be happier and healthier and will certainly thrive.

He was good. They surprised me- they had people that could actually climb ropes - they put ropes on our trees and could climb off the ropes to get to wherever they wanted to get to. Their responsiveness was excellent. I would use them again.

I was very happy with the tree removal, which was a big job. For the trimming, the crew who working for the trimming, I was directing them with how to trim the tree. Once they were done and I went to the street side, they left something hanging out. I called the owner about that and he was very nice. He said that when they are out in my neighborhood they would fix that, but they have not. He said he would come back, but he never did.

Mr.with Mayhoe was a pleasure to work with. He came out to the house to give the estimate for the job and was very knowledgeable about the trees and explained what they would do. He was also very personable and friendly. Once I decided to move forward with the work I called to schedule the appointment. The response time was very quick. I was at work the day the crew did the work and when I arrived home I was very happy with the job. They did exactly the work they said they would do and cleaned every up nicely. I would recommend the company and their services to anyone.

It was not necessarily the cost, it was just the feel I had for the gentleman when he came out and did the estimate. I watched them do the work and it's pretty intricate work and he did real well.

They were great. I called to set up and appointment on Tuesday. Mark showed up to give us a consultation on Thursday. He told us exactly what he thought we needed to do and we agreed on a price right there. He scheduled the work for the next day and his sons showed up on time and cleared up the 4 trees and all of the debris in about 3 hours or so. This included 2 pine trees that were way overgrown and blocking the driveway so they had to clear them up about 6 or 7 foot. Mark came by the house the day after that to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction. All in all it was a great experience. I would recommend.

We had a big maple tree that were damaged in an ice storm, many large branches were broke off. Wiseman came out when they said they would, told us how they would trim to tree to ensure it's health, and them came and did it. They also ground down a few old stumps that we had in our yard. They gave us an estimated date they would be at our house, but due to scheduling in our area were able to come early and trim our maple tree. We were happy with their service and would use them again.

The removal of the tree and pruning of the trees went well. Work was performed quickly and cleanup thorough. And, even though my husband was disappointed in how much of the trees were pruned off, we were given a thorough explanation as to why and we were then satisfied. The problem that occurred was related to the completion of the job that we were given an estimate for - the grinding of the stump. Despite several calls to let them know that the section of fence that needed to be removed for the stump grinding was complete . . . they never returned to do the stump grinding. We were only charged for the work that was done - payment for the stump grinding was to be paid when that portion of the estimate was complete. So, there was no issue of being charged for work not done - just being left hanging on the necessary stump grinding that would allow us to replace the fence. After several months of waiting, it became clear they were not going to return to finish the job that we were given an estimate for. If you only need pruning of trees or removal of trees, I would definitely recommend this company. If you are anticipating that after tree removal that the stump will be removed also, our experience would say 'don't count on it'.
