It was a wonderful experience. I called and told them the issue I had and they came out within the hour to spray for mosquitoes. Mike was very nice and very informative about their product and the work that they offer for my future use. A wonderful experience.

This is my second consecutive year of bad experiences with this company. They solicit you in the Spring making promises they have no intention of keeping. Glib salesman even gave me his personal cell phone number and discussed new management philosophies because of poor customer feedback. I only agreed to Tree and Shrub service, but they still came out and fertilized yard at inflated price. Their primary phone number listed on invoice takes you to their billing center in Ohio and they promise to leave message for local branch that are never returned. Received two redundant services within two week timeframe and again no return call regarding service, but they hound you to pay invoice. Phoned salesman's direct phone number and left voice message that was never returned as well. Cancelled services, but of course it never went nto affect and had to phone a second time. This company is not about keeping its customers, but the quick hit and short term revenue. Was able to negotiate and reduce outstanding balance to half of original price, but they are not worth the grief!

They did not mow my grass as often as promised so I had to mow in between. They promised to clean my gutters when they collected leaves but they did not. Also, they did not return when I reminded them. Also, while their equipment failed they charged me by the hour for leaf cleanup while they worked on the equipment. They never plowed my driveway all winter and I had to shovel the snow myself.

I called the phone number listed in Angie's List and an appointment was made for the following morning. Mr. Perry arrived close to the appointed time, removed the gate and made plans to repair the gate after the shed was delivered. When the shed was delivered, Mr.Perry arrived with needed supplies and a helper, did the work in record time, and left the site in clean condition.

The price is reasonable. They are efficient and thorough.

Requested that Scott's apply lawn treatment to both front and back yards for $80.00 per application. Because we have dogs, we also requested that they call and speak with us one day prior so that we can ensure dogs are not let out. We received an auto call from Scott's the day before advising they would be out the next day. They were closed when we tried to call them back to get details. Scott's did come to the house and left a bill for $80 indicating they applied treatment to both front and back. I called Scott's day after application was done and asked for a manger to call me back, which did not happen. I called again and spoke to Manager who was extremely rude. I asked why they did not manually call day before, he looked in our file which he confirmed noted to call us manually, he also said he didn't know if that was "just" put in the file. I explained that this was the second time we contracted with them (the 1st was a few years earlier) and that we cancelled previously because of this exact issue. I also asked if the Tech applied treatment to the back yard, he told me that the Tech noted that he could not get into the back yard so no treatment was applied. I told him that my invoice, which was left by the Tech, did not indicate backyard was not done and that they invoice was charging me the full $80.00 for both front and back. When I questioned why I was being charged the full amount when only 1/2 the treatment was applied, the Manager, then said "IT WAS A MISTAKE". Needless to say, I cancelled the service and paid $40 for the treatment that was applied. I would NOT recommend this lawn service to anyone unless you want to be charged for services not performed and be treated very rudely by the Management.

Their service is good and their value for the price is good

They seem to do a pretty good job and they are pretty punctual. I would say their price is average. I use them right now but I might change at some point.

We are on their prepaid plan. We've had 2 applications from them. They called in advance that they were coming out. Already a lot of the weeds are gone. Our lawn is looking great.

They have a good price and they do good work. I have no complaints.

The same guy does the work and he’s personable, knowledgeable and he gets it done quickly.

They are thorough and seem reputable. I have just started using them.

The 2nd application they performed in mid spring caused my Red Bud tree to wither. Called to complain and they sent someone out while I was not home to see the tree. Of course they said they didnt cause the problem. They offered a free grub treatment for the problem but I declined and will never use again. Stay away from this place for your trees sake

They are very customer friendly. I have been a customer of theirs for six seasons. I ran into some financial difficulties and spoke to them, and they lowered my costs by twelve percent. They are very good and polite when you talk to them. I had a question about one of my trees, and they sent someone out to look at my tree at no cost. He was able to give me recommendations of what to do my tree. They call and let you know before they come, and they do it in the time they tell you.

Started using TruGreen last year (2011) for our lawn service. It was our first year living at this property. Used them for an entire season. Cost was about $55 for each application and they came five times I think. Saw no improvement in the quality of my law other than the weeds stayed out. Still have thin patchy areas and areas of dead grass. It's not thick like our neighbors' lawns are. I watched them apply a couple of times and they didn't do a very slow and thorough job. We are going to do it ourselves this year as the lawn isn't that large and see how it goes.

I stopped using them because they always called and tried to sell me more services.

They did what I needed them to do. Their prices are competitive and come on a regularly scheduled basis. Since they completed the job I had a lot of problems with leaves and drugs. . They are consistent as far as quality and timliness.

I still seemed to have a lot of crab grass, but no dandelions. I also have a problem with the moles now. I am quite impressed with them. They are here when they said they will be.

I hired Scott's to fertilize and kill insects in my lawn on an annual basis. The company has never been responsive, unless they want to sell you more services. I was told on one occasion that they had so many thousands of customers and couldn't provide individual service. In 2010, they charged me for monthly mosquito service. I contracted to have it done once. They refunded my money, but I knew I needed to watch them. In the summer of 2011, Scott's came and fertilized my lawn during the hottest period of the summer. Needless to say, they burned my lawn and killed a great deal of it. I was heartbroken, since I received constant complements on my beautiful lawn. The blew my top when I received a letter recommending that I have my lawn over-seeded for $250. I called and fired the company. The young woman that answered the phone didn't seem to care. I was angry and am sure that I came across that way. I asked to speak with the manager, as I believed that the company should know why I'm discontinuing their services. The manager, Ken, told me that he was sure that it was bugs that killed my lawn. He assured me that they have clients all over my neighborhood that have bug problems. I told him that the only lawns that looked like my were mine and my next door neighbor that also use their service. Ken told me he would come out. I asked him to call me shortly before he arrived so I could discuss it with him. Of course he didn't call or ring my doorbell to tell me he was here. He told me that I should have seen him because he was here for long enough. As I expected, he indicated that bugs killed large portions of my lawn, but was unable to provide any proof of this. He hit the ceiling when I told him that my gardener has a degree in horticulture from Michigan State and has assured me that it wasn't bugs, but fertilizer burning my lawn.The company refunded my payment for one service and I've been left with a lawn that needs over-seeding, fertilizing, etc. to bring it back to it's former glory. I haven't decided whether I'll pursue legal action or not. The owner of the company has yet to respond to my request for a phone call. I've also contacted the Scott's franchisor and reported this problem. The woman I spoke with only seems to be concerned with my anger over this issue. I'm waiting for a response and will make my decision about legal action at that time.

I have a year’s service contract with them and pay $49 per visit. They give a discount if you sign up for a year’s contract, but if you don’t they charge you $59 per visit. They are flexible and when I ask them to reschedule a job another day, they do so. Once, they fertilized the lawn and I asked them to come back another day to mow the same, they agreed. On one occasion they applied fertilizer and it rained that day, but the manager himself came and re-applied the fertilizer. They do a great job and I will continue to use their services in future.

They are part of a bigger company. They didn't do the kind of work that we were looking for. We were looking for someone to do lawn cleanup and get rid of groundhogs. They showed up to do the quote a week later even though they didn?t do the work we wanted. We didn?t tell them to come out. They always have somebody there to answer the phone. We would consider them if we were actually looking for this service. They did talk about putting down grub treatment to cut off the food source for the groundhogs.

They do good work, but be prepared to stay with them for the long run. They don't like hearing No, I don't need you any more. They even continue the services through the next year unless you send it in writing, then they continue to send mail with advertisements.
