Description of Work: They never contacted me they were coming, and I had a special "only on Saturdays" for service note on my account because I run daycare and legally have to give 24 hours notice to my parents when services were to be performed. They came on Wednesday without calling and I turned them away for weed service, explaining I only get service on Saturday which after reviewing my paperwork the guy said it was written at the top. Friday I'm putting kids down for naps, we are in my basement and when I came upstairs to change a diaper, I notice the flier on my door. They'd sprayed for Mosquitos and we couldn't use the lawn for an hour! Huge no no for daycare licensing. The guy never knocked on my door and never rang my bell altering me he was there. I called the office an couldn't reach anyone, so I left a message that I was unhappy. No call back. An hour and a half later, I call again and say I want to cancel services and I'm asked "is this the daycare lady?" Wow. They don't apologize once. I say I want to cancel the guy says "fine. You're cancelled. You won't be billed for today". I still get bills for the service and when I called to ask why, I was told I DO have to pay for the service. I never asked for mosquito spray in the first place!

Description of Work: I have a yearly service plan with them (7 applications) my yard has definitely improved since I started using them. The price is reasonable, less than others. I was able to talk them down a few dollars per application, so give it a try. They do call occasionally trying to sell different products or services, but i decline. I am happy with the service they have given me. MUCH BETTER customer service and service than the previous company I was with.

Description of Work: Scotts serviced my lawn all year last year. At the end of the season, I cancelled service with them. About 30 days ago, they came out and applied an application. I called immediately and had to leave a detailed message telling them that I cancelled last year. I was very clear that I did NOT want their service again and that is why I cancelled last year. Today I get home and they did another application. When I called I spoke to a girl in the office. I explained to her the reason of my call and prefaced it by letting her know that I was angry with the situation not with her. She seemed to understand. During the call she continued to tell me that her computer did not show that I cancelled my service. I told her again that I had called last year at the end of the season and then again the same day they did the first application. She then stated that when most people call they cannot understand them and that they dont leave a clear message. I told her I am very confident that my message was clear. Now, at this point, I was frustrated. She then told me that she WAS going to back off my last charge but because I was rude she was NOT going to do that for me. WHAT? At this point, her manager got involved. The manager was very kind and wanted to help me out. He did state that they did not see where I cancelled OR when I called and left the detailed message. In the end he said he would cancel my service. He stated that they save all messages and he would go back and find my message and fix it accordingly. Last year during the time they did my service, they did okay. I had a few problems with their promise to call 24 hours in advance as I do have animals in my house.
