Brian is a TRUE, HONEST, EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND FRIENDLY PROFESSIONAL! There are too many positive adjectives to describe Brian. :) Wiring to our kitchen stove shorted out and Brian came to our home to examine the wiring. He carefully inspected the wiring and receptacle. We needed to have the wiring "re-worked" (my word not his) and a new receptacle installed. Brian came to our home very quickly, fitting us in his already busy day. He kept in touch with us to let us know where in his schedule he was an when he would arrive. He truly went above and beyond. He is a true gem!!!!! We would/will recommend him to anyone in need of his vast array of knowledge and services. He welcomed questions, even about other electrical issues that he was not here for at the time. I WISH THERE WERE MORE HONEST PEOPLE LIKE BRIAN IN THE WORLD; ESPECIALLY SKILLED PROFESSIONALS. Definitely will call on him again for any and all future projects!!!!!

Brian came out and gave us an estimate of what his process would entail, and the cost of doing such. Although it was a lengthy process---none of which was his fault, but Michigan's Mother Nature mood swings--he was upfront, professional yet personable while performing the work that he did. He was respectful of my animals (my dogs pretty much expected and loved to see him whenever he came over to work), and worked around our work schedules without any fuss. I definitely will use him again if an electrical need arises!

Brian was friendly, courteous, and professional, in addition to doing a great job with his electrical work. He had a good balance of providing his recommendation about things and being attentive to what I wanted. He is one of those people who want things done right (vs cutting corners), which I greatly appreciate. After he came to my house the first time I hired him for several other projects. Brian was punctual, friendly, and knowledgeable. I described to him what was happening and he made assessments of what could cause the laundry and office lights to malfunction. He resolved the laundry room light fixture right away and explained to to me the problem and how he resolved it. The 24" undercabinet task light was a bit more challenging. The replacement light gave light for a few seconds, went out and refused to be coaxed to light again. Brian worked diligently testing wiring, voltage, and connections but to no avail. He explained the various testings he completed and determined the unit needed to be replaced. He gave me the names of a few places to purchase the unit and said he could return the next day to install it which he did on 12-18-15. Brian listened to my descriptions of the problems, asked questions and resolved to get the problems solved. I will definitely use him again for other electrical projects.

Brian Milam assessed which switches need to be replaced and he then replaced the four switches and one outside receptacle. Since he completed the work well within the 2 hours that I had purchased on Angie's List for $99, he did not charge me for the switches. Brian was very professional and efficient. When I need electrical work in the future, I will definitely consider Thermal Boundary for that work.

Brian was very timely, professional and knowledgable. When he was in the attic to check the roof vent, he noted other issues that needed to be addressed. I found him to be trustworthy and will use him in the future for any electrical or energy issues.

Brian Milan was professional, friendly and courteous throughout his visit. He had reviewed with me over the phone what we wanted accomplished and began his work promptly. While the contracted time of this Angie's List deal was 2 hours, he ended up staying longer because the ceiling fan didn't work after installation so he had to take it down again and found a wire that had been damaged by the old fan. He did not charge me for the additional service time. He's coming back today to replace the wall switch for the fan that wasn't working properly. When I need electrical service again, he'll be the provider I'll contact. Thank you Brian!

Brian did a great job wiring my 220 volt line. He has also done some work for me in the past. Both projects were completed very fast. Very knowledgeable and considerate. This guy knows his stuff. Would definitely recommend him to anyone.

When he arrived at my residence he was very thoughtful by making sure to place a large cloth down on my kitchen floor before he placed his equipment on it. He then proceeded to explain to me how he would be replacing my electrical box as well as removing the old knob and tube from the attic and basement. It took him a couple of days and when he finished he did a great job cleaning up after himself. I've had other repair people who seem to feel it's okay to leave a mess. Not him, I could tell he prided himself in keeping things neat and clean. As we were chatting while he was working in the basement he mentioned how nice and pretty he would have things looking after he cleaned out the knob and tube in the basement. I was very impressed by the fact that he tried hard to find a good spot in the basement for the new electrical box. It wasn't easy to find a good spot but when he was finished I was very happy with the location. Finding the right spot seemed important to him. I would highly recommend Brian for any electrical needs.

I was in the process of purchasing a house. Brian did such a great job on the electrical at previous home, so I decided to use him to inspect the house I was thinking about purchasing. The house had not been taken care of for many years so it needed many improvements and repairs. I knew I really needed someone who could give me a clear picture of everything that would need to be replaced so I would have some kind of idea how much money I would have to put into the house. He walked through it with me and pointed out the areas that needed repair that I would not have thought about. His report was easy to understand and included color pictures so I knew what he was referring to. It was well worth the money because after he did the report I came back with an offer $7000.00 less then the first. I bought the house for $12,000.00 less then the original offer. If it wasn't for his house inspection I would have stuck with my original offer. I can honestly say he is a person who seems to have a real passion for homes. His eyes lit up when he was looking at certain areas of the house. He is absolutely the person you would want to do your house inspection. He also has some pretty interesting gadgets he uses when he does his inspection.

In addition to his obviously well-informed and skilled approach to property inspection and energy related concerns, his warm and engaging approach made it a pleasure to work with him. The mother board for the hot tub was a complicated repair, but now the hot tub works like new. The lighted ceiling fan works great too and now we have we have a nicer, easier to read thermostat. On both occasions Brian was very punctual and installed these items very quickly and efficiently. He is extremely efficient, knowledgeable, very honest and pleasant and I would recommend his business to anyone. It was a very positive experience working with Brian from Thermal Boundary.
