 + -1 morethey were very good. Classic and good looking equipment . People were professional. they will tell you not to let your pets out with in 24 hrs. Sincere and honest. Prices was competitive. They did charge the same thing.I dont have problems with when i ask to be here.

 + 0 moreTree and shrub trimming was done quickly and thoroughly, although it took awhile to get it done (it was the busy season and I was told it would be awhile, so that was fine). Cleanup was good and the yard looks very nice. Lawn treatments are helping, although there are some weeds that seem to be very resistant to the products used (thistles). Hopefully over time they will be eliminated, or a different product used for better control.
Description of Work: Seasonal applications of weed control and lawn fertilizer, also one-time tree and shrub trimming.

 + 2 moreOn or around November 4, 2016 Pure Green Lawn and Tree Professionals sent workers out to aerate the lawn of my neighbor's property at 6745 Edgefield Street Portage, MI 49024. In the process of this aeration, these workers crossed my property line and cut the invisible dog fence wires on my property. Invisible fence company came out to repair the wire and charged me a total amount of $110.37. They showed me where the aerating equipment had crossed my property and informed me that they were the reason for the wire being damaged. I contacted Pure Green Lawn and Tree Services through the following phone number obtained from my neighbor: 269-342-5055. My neighbor instructed me to speak with Fernando Nickrent. He was not available at the time of my call, but the gentleman who took the call informed me that they would have him come out to my property and they would have the matter taken care of. Fernando came out to my property in order to survey the damage. He acknowledged the damage and offered me half off on next year's lawn service in lieu of payment for the invisible fence. I refused the offer and said we can discuss that after this matter was resolved. He said that I would hear back from him no later than the following Monday. I did not hear from him after making several attempts to contact him. He finally returned my call and explained to me that his District Manager (David Willem) thought it was the invisible Fence company's fault for not burying the wires deep enough that even though they crossed my property where the wires are located, that if they were buried deeper they would not have been cut. I informed him that I have had this invisible fence for years and have never had that problem. I also informed him that my neighbor told me that they put a flag out to alert the workers of where their property ends and ours begin and the workers crossed the line. He explained that unfortunately this situation is out of his control and that he had no authority to issue me any reimbursement for my loss. He instructed me to contact Mr. David Willem, the district manager. I have called and left multiple voicemails for Mr. Willem and he refuses to take my call. I have yet to speak with him or anyone else representing the company. I have yet to be reimbursed.

Description of Work: I used Pure Green Lawn & Tree Pros for Lawn Fertilization & Treatment. They put on a treatment for, my lawn was when we didn't have any rain in the spring it got dried out in places so they did a full treatment on it for an appearance of the lawn to control the weeds.

 + -1 moreThey do a pretty good job. It is a local, family-owned company. I give them a B-plus rating in terms of the service they provide. I would give them a thumbs-up. Not a crazy wild thumbs-up, but a good thumbs-up. The price was very in line with other competitive companies. They show up when they are supposed to. I am going to continue to use them.

 + -1 moreWe had terrible experience with the OTHER Big Name companies, so we tried Kevin Schultz of Pure Green--a local company. We highly recommend his service and his company. Because we have a dog and a small child, they always notify us ahead of time and let us know when they've stopped by. He even found somebody to do a big re-seeding job for us, which worked out great. We have used Pure Green for many years, and we have one of the nicest yards in town thanks to them!

 + -1 moreWhen I contacted Pure Green the first time, I spoke with the older and explained why I no longer did business with ChemLawn and Scott's, including lack of and poor service, failure to return calls, etc. He assured me that he would return my calls and work with me. In 2011, ChemLawn burned my grass by putting fertilizer on it in a hot, dry August. Now I have a yard full of crabgrass and weeds from a year with Pure Green. When I called to express my concern about the weeds in my yard, the woman who answered the phone advised me that they don't prevent weeds, but kill them after they grow. The owner never returned my call. Are you surprised that he used to work for ChemLawn? The service I received from Spartan Irrigation was so outstanding that I have now contracted with Arbor Lawn, their lawn service.
Description of Work: Reasonable price, lack of response to concerns, poor results. The first dandelion's I've ever had in my yard popped up when this company was maintaining my lawmaker.

 + -1 moreThey seem to be very reliable, their prices fair, and I knew when I hired them that they do some major golf courses and it seemed like they were more of a family run business, though I'm not sure about that. They had several really good-sounding clients that made me feel that if those people hired them they're probably good. They seem to be using the right products to produce what you want. They used, I think, a mix of the glandular and the liquid and it seems like they're making good choices about which type of product they're using to produce the results you want.
Description of Work: We started using Pure Green Lawn & Tree Pros last year. We have a contract for the year but their last visit, when they did a slow-release fertilizer, was for $35. They provide weed-kill, fertilizer, aeration and grubex treatments for us. They do lawn Care basically, but not cutting the lawn.

 + 0 moreThey are a fantastic company to work with. Compared with TrueGreen, their customer service is second to none. Our contact person is Kevin, and he is wonderful to work with. They return calls within the hour usually (or show up), and are very helpful with solving any lawn problems. They came out one time for a service call, treated for my issue, and noticed something I hadn't and made another service call for me, all included in the yearly price! We did the math, and for all of their applications, you cannot get it any cheaper by doing it yourself (or with another company; we shopped around already). Thank you Pure Green for such an excellent company!
Description of Work: We have Pure Green treat our entire lawn each year. They do six applications of differing fertilizers and weed control, plus grub control. Our grass has never looked better!
