In the beginning it was acceptable. Then unfortunately as the year went on the cleaning became very inconsistent . Exactly like all of the other reviews stated. Also I to had some things that went missing. I thought my son was overreacting when he brought it to my attention. Since it was unprovable I let it go. I am grateful I never issued a key. I can't imagine any business not safeguarding a clients house keys. I let them go for poor cleaning and outrageous pricing.
Description of Work: They were to clean wood floors, vacuum carpet etc.. Very standard weekly cleaning tasks.

Do not under any circumstances use this service! The people they send to your home are very questionable. The cleaning is terrible. Thing are missed routinely. I am embarrassed to say that I allowed them to come to my home 4 times. Each time was a huge disappointment. I kept thinking it would get better. The keys to my home are missing. When I contacted Pam she said she was busy and forgot to call to tell me the keys were missing. This was two weeks from the time they went missing, and I thought that she was still in possession of them! This is totally unacceptable. Pam offered to have the locks re-set but I am uncomfortable with having her handle it, the whole thing feels shady. The next thing to happen was that a gift card (that was sitting in a jar on my hutch) went missing after the cleaner left. This cannot be proven but I have never had this happen before and now I am wondering what else is missing that I don't know about. I feel totally violated. Missing keys, missing money, and terrible cleaning. Need I say more.
Description of Work: The services that were supposed to have been performed were the following: Floor cleaning which was accomplished by wiping the floor with a rag (before vacuuming!) No scrubbing of any kind was ever done. Bathroom, I think the mirror and the sink were cleaned and that was it, fronts to cabinets were dirty, the tub was not scrubbed, there was still a soap film in it. The bathroom floor wasn't touched, there was hair and typical things that fall on the bathroom floor left there, nothing around the toilet was scrubbed. The kitchen was also not cleaned, cabinet fronts dirty, sink not scrubbed, floor dirty (the table was not even moved to clean under, the chair legs had dust and dirt on the bottoms) the livingroom was not vacuumed (tons of pet hair left), I could go on and on. I got the feeling that they were rushing through areas. I tried to stay the entire time they were at my house but seriously, if I had received 4 1/2 hours of cleaning I should be able to tell. I even tried to point out what was not to my satisfaction and was told the things I wanted would have to be "rotational" chores. So, I only get certain things cleaned bi weekly and the rest monthly? You have got to be kidding! Save your time and frustration and find anyone else to do your housecleaning.

The first time was supposed to be a thorough housecleaning after a bathroom remodel. All the walls were supposed to be cleaned and some were not. Further, a small area of grout in the new bathroom floor was stained, apparently with a cleaning product. The owner, Pam,was not helpful at all when I spoke to her about the stain. I was able to remove it myself, but was not happy with Pam's response. Against my better judgment, I decided to have Pam send someone out to do a cleaning about two or three weeks after the first one. While the cleaning was satisfactory, I discovered the keys to my front door were missing after the cleaner left. After looking everywhere, I concluded that the cleaner must have taken them, perhaps accidentally. I contacted Pam and she did not respond. After a few days, I contacted her again and informed her that I would be contacting the police about the keys if she didn't get back to me. She then called me and claimed to have had an "emergency" that prevented her from contacting me for nearly a week. She told me her employee didn't know anything about the keys, it was not her problem, etc. I ended up spending over $100 to replace the lock on my front door, which was more than the $80 the cleaning had cost. i would not recommend this cleaning service to anyone - unresponsive and unconcerned about serious issues.
Description of Work: I used this service twice. The first time was supposed to be a thorough housecleaning after a bathroom remodel. The second was a routine cleaning.

I used this service for 11 years and for the most part was pleased 50% of the time, however in Sept. 2010 an incident occurred which involved money missing from my home on the day of the cleaning, but could not be proven. I immediately discontinued using this service. It is my opinion that the owner lacks professionalism and I agree that the response time is horrible for a business, and many of the workers do portray any type of profesionalism according to my standards. I would never ever recommend this company to anyone.

There were many areas of the house that were cleaned well, but obvious areas that were missed. The communication and response from Pam was horrible. I wonder if she hasn't taken on too much and has lost sight of quality.
Description of Work: I tried this service for 3 bi-weekly cleanings. No one came out to my home to quote the job or discuss details on what I wanted done. The quote was provided over the phone and I was to email specifications of what I wanted afterwards. I should have declined service at this time, but the advertising on the website ( pamshousecleaning.net ) was too alluring. I emailed Pam immediately after the first cleaning with minor concerns and some questions. She never responded. Each time I entered my house after a cleaning, I had to walk around and put things back in place. (The vacuum left at the bottom of the basement stairs, instead of put back where it belonged... an empty roll of paper towel on the stair landing... sofa cushions lifted, just to name a few) It always appeared as if they rushed through the house as fast as they could. Areas were also overlooked (a chest and hanging picture above untouched... stairs not vacuumed... toothpast on cabinet drawer... half of a bathroom mirror left uncleaned. On the second cleaning, the girl commented that she had initially questioned whether anyone lived in the home, as it contained little furniture, was clutter free, and pretty clean to begin with. I chuckled then asked how long it took her to clean my house. She responded with "What were you quoted?" I asked her if the quoted price ever changes depending on how long they stay to clean? She said the price always stays the same and they are to "stay and find things to clean." This surprised me because I never noticed anything extra was cleaned and routine areas were being missed. I emailed Pam to notify her that I was discontinuing service and would like my key returned. I specifically asked her to reply with confirmation. I heard nothing. I called her two days later in which she acknowledged getting my email. It's now been 8 days since my phone call; 10 days since my email and I'm still waiting for my key.
