From the initial visit for inspection and estimate, the Palmer folks were A+. They work with near military precision. We were fully informed of dates of work, the process, everything. The crew chiefs introduced themselves and were always available for questions etc. The work was completed in a day, but the Palmer folks came out twice more, just to inspect their own work. One tiny detail that I would never have detected didn't meet their standards so they redid it. Completely. The total cost was exactly what they estimated, which by the way, was the lowest bid of all the major contractors we asked to give estimates. Extremely pleased with the process and the work. Palmer will be my first choice for any construction work I might need on my home.

Interviewed 5 companies before hiring this one, as I was very impressed with the reviews on Angie's List and the time Mr. Palmer took when he visited my home. They completed roofing a low pitched roof extending over one room on the house last fall, which I explained had been leaking for over 45 years, that previously no one could fix. Upon removing all the old material, a hole in the original wood roof was revealed. I was very upset that they chose not to consult me about what I wanted done. They left the hole, and roofed over it, which is still a big concern. I would liked to have had the rotted and warped wood taken out and replaced with new boards. They did not have a dumpster delivered for all the old/used material, so uncovered debris was in my yard and in my garage for weeks. Equipment and tools they left in my garage made it impossible to get to anything without clearing up their piles and moving things on weekends. Make sure they get a dumpster if you use them. The siding job has some problems. A piece fell off within a month after they finished. Others are already loose. Caulking done very sloppily. There are gaps bowing out in between where the trim has been nailed where they wrapped trim and porch pole. Measurements are off so lines appear uneven in trim work. Mitered corners on windows don't match. They had to replace all my downspouts because the crew "didn't follow directions." After the first week, had lost confidence in the crew working here. Work was sloppy, felt they were in a hurry and paid no attention to detail. There had to be several re-dos before they left in April. Have sent 13 pictures via email to the owner showing him these concerns, with no response. I would appreciate having all of these things cleared up. i am retired. Didn't know about the senior 1% discount,only was told that the original quote went up over the winter due to cost increases in materials. Am withholding that increase until issues are resolved to my satisfaction. Sorry to ruin what appears to be a perfect record on Angie's List.

They were very good about replacing them and getting the work done. However, it was rather rainy for some time so it took a little while. As far as I can tell the work was very good. They were very prompt and they came when they said they would. If they couldn't come they would let me know. The only thing I would say is that I didn't feel I got all the information that I should have gotten. It wasn't much it was just a few tiny things. For someone considering using them, if they remove a satellite dish it becomes the owners responsibility to re install the equipment. They did a really good job setting up financing for the work.

Showed us several examples, house addresses so we could pick the right color combination for our home. Kept us in the loop. Very timely, got everything done in 2 days and very clean. We're very happy.

I called and described the job. Since it was a straight forward job they were able to give me a quote by phone. We scheduled the work for the following week and they completed the work on the day it was scheduled. They installed 2 insulated ducts and 2 covered caps on the roof. I happened to have other workers in later in the week, (one in the attic and a roofer) for other jobs and they both confirmed that the job was well done. I appreciated that it is possible to get a quality construction company to do small jobs in a timely fashion. I have asked for quotes on two other jobs.

Everyone else that we called wanted half the money and the solution would not meet code. When the inspector came out to look at Palmers, it was approved immediately. The garage was either going to be fixed or knocked down completely. So they saved me from having to knock it down and I got to keep the garage. The garage would have have been at least $17,000 to knock it down and rebuild. It is a large 2 car. There was also a chance that with new zoning restrictions, we would not have been able to even build the same size and would have been left with a 1-1 1/2 car garage. Jerry Frazier,the gentleman that worked with us was very cool, knowledgeable and honest. He went above and beyond. Jerry even critiqued some of the work on a recent siding job that we had done that we were able to call the prior company to come back and fix. He actually does business with the siding company, so that helped my concerns have a bit more weight with the previous company. This is something that Jerry did not have to do so it was very cool for him to lend his expertise to us.

I only wish I would have had them do install in the first place wouldn't have needed a repair. would definitely us them for any work in the future

Went very well. Estimator showed up on time as promised. Looked at the job and said he needed to consult with another person to give an accurate estimate. They came back the same day and looked at the job. Estimate was provided next day. Estimate was competitive. I ended up using someone else for the job as their estimate was a little lower and I wanted to save whatever I could.

I went with them because they had the highest reputation on Angie's List which they lived up to. They finished the replacement in three days. They did a great job cleaning up after the service.

The salesman seemed very nice and professional. I was looking forward to seeing their work, since I had read good things on this site. I had not heard back from them for over a week, and had another company come in to give me another estimate. This company gave me a rundown of the total cost right there, and it seemed pretty reasonable (but I was wary of the big-company vibe I got), so I decided to call Palmer to see what they could bring to the table. The receptionist was very professional, and promised me that someone would get back to me by the end of the day. Three weeks later, still have not heard from them via phone or email. I'm very glad that I did not decide to go with them, because God only knows when I would actually see the windows installed!

When a large limb came down on my house, I contacted my insurance company and then Palmer Construction. They had done excellent work for me in the past and I was confident they would do the same on this project. Their estimator came to my house to meet with the insurance adjuster, who agreed on the repairs to be made. A couple of days later, Dan called to schedule a date to do the repair work. A couple of weeks later, the materials were delivered. Dan called a few days later to let me know when the installer would be there to do the work. There were a couple of hiccups in the process - the siding that was delivered was the wrong material and the installer had to come back a second time once the correct material came in. In the mean time, he secured the side of our house from possible weather-related issues while it was exposed. After I had mailed in the Certificate of Completion, I noticed a couple of shingles on the roof were still messed up. It appeared the installer either didn't know those were supposed to be fixed or forgot to fix them. I promptly called Dan and he scheduled the installer to come back within a couple of days to fix the shingles. I don't know how much the repairs cost because the estimator submitted the quote directly to the insurance adjuster. My house looks good as new and I am very happy with the work that Palmer Construction performed. I would definitely use them again.

We requested an appointment on a Sunday through their website and received a phone call from Bill, a sales associate Monday morning. Bill stopped by that day to complete measurements on the house and scheduled an appointment the next day (Tuesday) to give me a quote. Bill is kind and courteous and seemed very knowledgeable about his product. He provided complete credentials and lots of great information in the quote (along with a packet of information and flyers). Bill called me every few days just to check in and see if I had any questions. Ultimately, we chose another company because their bid was lower for the amount of work we were requesting, but I would certainly recommend Bill and Palmer Construction especially for their prompt and courteous service from the initial meeting. Very professional and very pleased.

They were really professional and they gave us a really good bid. I spoke to him on the phone and got back to me very quickly. He was at my place the next day and he left his card. I couple day later he brought us a folder at our door with an estimate with things that they were going to do with the price.

Palmer construction did a complete tear off including the 1x6 's under the shingles. I needed the trusses repaired as I had substantial roof sag. All of the trusses had to be sistered with 2x6's. Everyone of them was cracked or broke. Then they put down OSB, tar paper, shingles. They did it in 2 days. They cleaned up the whole area. Then the job supervisor from Palmer came and inspected the work, asked me if I was satisfied, and if I had any questions. I was and am satisfied. Excellent company and they do excellent work. Very professional. I had used them in the past to install soffits and seamless eavestroughs. Both jobs they met or exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend them.

Job was quick and efficient. Nate and crew were experienced and every piece went back together like a giant puzzle. Gutters and lawn cleanup was clean and neat. We would not hesitate to call them back for another project.

This is the second time we've had Palmer Construction do work for us. Last year they built a new deck and screened-in porch with fireplace and we could not have been more pleased with the end result. Based on last year's experience we had Palmer do the bathroom renovation. The cost was reasonable. Dale, the project manager, was very professional and very easy to work with. He did a great job of keeping the project on schedule. The quality of their work was great, just as they would like to see in their own homes. The work area was kept clean and when it was time to finish the drywall, barriers were put up to prevent dust from getting into the rest of the house. There's no question that we'll be contacting Palmer again for our next home renovation project.

I called for an estimate and they returned my call the next day and let me know that due to the volume of business and we are quite a distance away that they wouldn't be able to get to me right away and I thought that was very considerate. Some places would just not have returned the call. So I thank them for that.

I was pressured by Angie's List to submit a review prior to even meeting these professionals. At this point, I am awaiting their proposal and therefore cannot indicate whether or not I would use them again. Since I am not given the option of "does not apply" or "don't know" and I have to indicate something. Please note: I ended up using another contractor, but that should not distract from Palmer's ability to perform high quality work.

They were overpriced for the job they were about to do, and they were ridiculous. The team was the most expensive company, but they were punctual, and fine. It took so long to get a quote from them, almost a week. I am not using them in the future.

The initial estimate went great. We called and within the same day, Bill came out and was on our roof taking measurements, evaluated our current gutters, and asked us what issues we were having. We had an estimate written up within a day or so. The installation was great. The team was on time, they carefully removed the old gutters, replaced part of our fascia board that came off, and installed the new gutters with extra large downspouts on all corners of the house. They were fast, efficient, and installed everything accordingly. The only drawback was the office organization when dealing with payment. We really wanted to pay them the rest of the balance! We didn't receive anything in the mail and when it reached almost 2 months from the service date, I decided to call the office to see what was going on with the account. It seemed to be an oversight. Needless to say, it was a first for us to have to request to pay for the excellent service that was provided! All in all, a great overall experience, we would definitely use them for future services!

People there are very busy but still, they would come out but only in a very long time. They seem very professional as well as on the phone and honest. They got me back, they called me back and they were clean.

Palmer construction's employee arrived a little late but within 20 minutes of arranged time. He was professional and immediately got started on the estimate and then started the repairs that day. I would recommend Palmer construction to a friend and feel confident in their work.
