Palmer Construction

It went very well. Andy was very patient with us as we went back and forth trying to decide on the roof color / manufacturer. He supplied us with multiple references that were more than happy to talk with us. Each day, the crew cleaned up the entire yard of construction debris. Within 3 days, they were completely finished. In the spring, I plan to install new vinyl siding myself. They gave me much needed advice and prepped the areas I will be working.

The estimate was approximately $10000. I thought that they were very professional and I liked them a lot. Overall, they were very good and they were also punctual.

Palmer Construction was fair, honest, and did the job right. My mom's house is older, so some challenging unknown conditions ere revealed when they started to replace the roof. Palmer patiently walked us through the challenges and options. The solution was done properly and was fairly priced. I don't live in the same town as my mom, but wanted to keep abreast of the situation, and Palmer was accomodating. Palmer completed new flat and sloped roofs and did a ceiling re-build on a sunroom at my mom's house. I recommend them.

We didn't go with them because they were a little bit higher than other quotes we got. Andy Palmer, the owner, came out and gave the estimate. He was very professional and he seemed to have everything very organized. He came out with his iPad and gave me some videos and demos, which I thought was kind of overwhelming for a roofing quote. Everybody is jumping on the technology bandwagon so it was a little bit of a different experience. He did send us the wrong quote and followed up the next day when he realized his mistake. He was still higher than what we were looking at. They were very good. They were very responsive and on time for the appointment. They were quick to respond. The price was high but not excessively high. It was higher than the guy we went with. Their customer service was good but the bid was high. We would consider them again.

Andy Palmer who is the owner of the company actually came out. He was incredibly helpful and professional. He walked us through every step of the plan and showed us everything afterward. He was there to do the final inspection as well, so he actually came out to our house 3 times. He hung out with us and went over everything. He was available via cell phone overnight. One night we had a problem in the middle of the construction, and we wanted to make sure everything was right. He actually answered the phone really promptly during dinner. We talked him through everything and everything was cleaned up. The next morning it was perfect. They were incredibly professional and did a great job. It is better than anything else we have ever had done on the house. We would definitely use their services again in the future if we need to.

Andy cancelled the original appointment we had for an estimate and was then 20-30 minutes late on the rescheduled appointment. After I accepted the proposal, he had the work scheduled quickly but unfortunately the guys (sub-contractors ?) that came to do the work did not complete the work according to the estimate. I had to call Andy to have them come back and have additional hangers added to the gutter per the estimate. The guys came back the next day or so and completed the work quickly but argued saying the job did not need to be done with as many gutter hangers as was written in the estimate. The price was better than other estimates I obtained but overall the workmanship was average to poor. I found pieces of metal from the aluminum gutter guard thrown on the ground after they were done. I guess you generally get what you pay for!

I was very pleased with their service. I like that they kept the work site clean and I was pleased with the quality of their work. We had some difficult areas on our roof that would have been problematic to less experienced roofers. They were pleasant to be around, they got the work done quickly and with high-quality materials, and they had great workmanship. I would absolutely use them again.

Mr. Palmer came out and provided an analysis of the problem, a proposed solution and a cost estimate to complete the repairs. Within 2-3 days a date was agreed upon for the work to take place and be completed. The work crew arrived on the agreed upon day and work was completed during that day. The crew was efficient and completed the task as noted above.

They fixed everything where the previous service provider had put a roof on four years ago. They had done such a terrible job that the flue pipes had gotten crooked. They fixed all of that. They were very professional and very skillful. They were also very efficient. I chose them because they were on Angie's List and they had the highest grading. Mr. Andy Palmer who was the owner was the most professional contractor that I have met. Their clean up was complete and it was hundred percent done. There were no problems of any kind. I had my roof replaced back in 2007 and even after a year I was still picking up the nails and staples that did not get picked up around the house. When they got through, they had to replace the floor on my deck on the back of the house because they had dropped shingles on it on to a plastic tar and brought it across which gauged the surfaces of the composite deck board. I made them to replace that. They scratched the kitchen window with shingles that were coming down to the side of the house on the windows. There were black streaks on the rear of the house with the tar of the shingles. They did not clean it up. So, when I saw Palmer Construction come in and do the job the way that they did it, it was of one hundred percent quality from start to finish.

They did a great job. My neighbor called and asked who I used. They called a week ago and also used them.

The crew came and worked 2 long days to get the job done as quickly as possible. They were very friendly and professional. When I had to go to work they even built a bridge out of plywood so my 4 year old could walk over the shingles from the tear off without worrying about falling or stepping on nails. The job ended up being bigger than was originally expected and they were still done a day earlier than originally thought possible, which was awesome.

I had an excellent experience with Palmer Construction from start to end. Andy presented a detailed proposal and assisted in selecting appropriate shingle. He was straightforward and honest, and provided a 30 year workmanship warranty. The work crew is led by Dan who is an extremely friendly and helpful person. The work was of excellent quality. The workers were all excellent and caused no problems whatsoever. Everyone acted in a friendly and professional manner. Dan was willing to answer any questions and respond to any concerns. He provided his personal cell phone number and was easy to contact at any time. The roof looks great. Dan has returned several times to make sure everything was finished properly and to attend to any final details. This included a final thorough inspection one year after completing the work. Overall, an excellent experience. Palmer Construction does very high quality work in a friendly and professional manner. You would be wise to get an estimate from Palmer if you are considering a new/replacement roof, and wiser yet if you choose them do do the job.

Palmer Construction was very thorough making sure that any previous work done that was done poorly was corrected. They also did some thorough research to make sure we had the best possible solutions that fit our budget, fixed inadequacies, were appealing and appropriate. The work was of excellent quality and I would use them again.

I had arranged for two men to complete the work; they purchased most of the material and I had painted it. They backed out a week before they were to do the work. I checked Angie's List and called three contractors. I explained my situation to each one, and Andy Palmer was the only one that returned my call. He came to my house the following morning, discussed everything with me, made a few recommendations, and presented a proposal that was very reasonable. Two of his workers arrived on time two days later and completed all the work in about 4 hours. Chris, the leader went over the list of items to be repaired before they started the work, and then showed me everything that had been completed before they left. He also gave me some tips on improving rain water drainage. They were very professional, cared about their work and made certain everything was done correctly. I will definitely call them for any work that I need done, whether inside or outside my home.

It went very well, and they were very careful to cover all the flowers and deck from damage. They worked hard and fast but were very sure to get the work done correctly. They were polite and professional.

They seemed okay. My wife spoke to them but from what I understood from her, they seemed fine. There were no complications. We have not yet acted on their quote.

Good communication, during quote phase, acceptance phase, during the actual work. Work crew was extremely polite and professional. Work performed was absolutely highest quality. Andrew Palmer provided the prequote inspection was very thorough and provided good explanations of the product sold and services provided. He provided solid recommendations for which shingles we should purchase, and was able to answer all of my and my wife's questions. He called to let us know when the shingles were going to be delivered. NO surprises the crew of 9 which came to perform the work was very professional, and polite to my wife. They got the job done in one day, and all was completed as I expected. The effort made to insure every scrap every nail was picked up after the job was completed was impressive. They did what they said, it should not look like you had your house roof replaced....it didn't. One final note even though there were no guarantees even the satellite TV worked when they were done. I would recommend Palmer construction to anyone who needed their roof replaced

Everything went great. They were very communicative. They told us what they were going to do and got it done. Their staff is professional and courteous. I would ask people to talk to Palmer Construction and get a quote from them if they want any work done. They are honest and straightforward. Their price is good and they communicate exactly what they are doing. They do good work.

My wife and I could not be more pleased with the quality of work and customer service we have received from Palmer Construction. They are professional, organized, punctual, and easy to reach. This was the second time we have used Palmer Construction for roofing. Our initial contact was regarding a leak in our roof. Andy was a pleasure to deal with, and the leak was fixed within a day or two for a very reasonable price. As a result, Palmer Construction was the easy choice to replace our roof this summer after storm damage. While my wife and I were at work, Andy came out to insect our roof and replaced all of the missing shingles before we met or signed a contract to make sure we did not get any rain damage prior to addressing the roof. This was a great experience; it couldn't have gone better. Andy Palmer, Dan and Jeremiah were punctual, professional, and very conscientious. The crew was wonderful, working through literally record setting temperatures. The roof looks great and I have every confidence that in the unlikely event any trouble arises, Palmer Construction will stand behind thier work.

Both jobs were done well, on time with no additional costs and they used good work site clean maint. during and clean-up at end. Andy Palmer worked with us to get all the necessary details so there were no surprises as construction proceeded. He was great to work with and his workers were professional, got the jobs done on time with min. interruptions for the tenants. I would definitely recommend him for anyone needing this type of work done.

Great contractor. Staff were very professional and knowledgeable. Work was done quickly and care was taken not to mess up the house. Thought more work was done, other expected work was not done so we called it even regarding the price, which I thought was fair. Andy will be on my contractor list for the next project!!!!!!
