I was not happy with them. I've taken the vehicle back three times and it's still making a noise. My breaks are still squealing. I took it to another shop a couple of weeks ago and have them look at it and they said that they never changed the rotors like they charged me. He told me that he put ceramic breaks on and he did not. So basically he lied about the work and overcharged me. Their customer service sucks - he was very rude. I went back and told him what the guy said about the rotors and stuff like that, and he was really rude about it. That was then the fourth time that I took it back in. I would never use them again.

My car would not start the night before and had to be towed to my apartment. In the morning I called RMB and they towed it to their shop and found and repaired the problem very quickly.

I am a single woman with a young gran daughter that had her brakes go out on her car on Monday night . I have had some bad experiences with untrustworthy mechanics, so I checked Angies list for a good repair shop close to my home. I called RMB after reading all the good reviews that were posted. It was so refreshing to be treated fairly and with courtesy and respect. They were very helpful and we had her car towed there. They checked it over and called in a timely manner with an estimate that was very fair. Her car is very old but we needed to keep it going. All the repairs that were needed were explained fully to us. There was one thing that might have caused the estimate to go up, but they were able to fix it with only a minor addition to the overall total. They also found 2 used tires to replace the bad ones she had on her car. They changed those out for her, at our request, and the fee was minimal. She is back on the road and has safe brakes again. I would, and already have, recommend them to others.

I got the car got to them first thing Friday (SPOILER ALERT) and it was repaired by Monday afternoon. As I've said, I love this little car and don't trust "just anybody" to work on it. I've been burned a couple of places and this was my first time using RMB, so I must confess to being a bit apprehensive ... at first. Right away I recognized everyone there as being friendly and helpful ... but didn't know how well they'd be able to complete the work. It should be noted that BMWs are *notorious* for being difficult to do alignments on, so Rod sent me to Liskey's to polish off that part of the job (another excellent business worthy of another very positive review). I like RMB so much I have gone to them since this first time; the car now has working A/C for the first time in about 4 years and a non-screaming interior fan (again, as any BMW owner will attest, that company makes some weird-looking parts and that double-squirrel-cage fan was a total bear to get to). In short, I'm so happy with RMB I've gone to them since this initial review ... and intend to keep going there. Say hello to my new pit crew! <grin>

Perfect! Beyond superior customer service from all of the employees. He didn't try to jip me at all, gave me the best cost effective options for fixing my car.

It went really good. They had it done within three or four hours. They were really courteous. The price was good and the quality was fair. The only small issue I have is when they installed the air vent cover back on, it wasn't installed properly and now I am unable to close or move the vent. I am very happy with their services.

I was having a hard time finding a shop that would take my car that day for the work listed above. One shop told me it would be two weeks before they could get to it! When I called RMB, they were polite on the phone and told me to go ahead and bring it in right away. They offered me transportation (which I didn't need, but it's nice to have the option). I talked to Rod when I arrived-- he suggested an overall inspection of the car, which was pretty much what I was looking for so I agreed. He called me shortly thereafter (maybe ~1 h later?) with a complete, concise assessment of my car's condition (which was good overall-- just needed some maintenance, as expected). He was able to list maintenance to be done, but also to prioritize which is important to me. Brakes were a high priority-- I already knew this because they were grinding. This was pricey because we had to replace the brake discs as well. I was surprised to learn that the exhaust system was in very good shape because the car was starting to make more noise. Rod told me this was due to the engine mounts rather than the exhaust system. He suggested replacing half the engine mounts (I think the front mounts) first and told me that this should cut down on noise a lot. He suggested that I could then replace the rear mounts later to further cut down on noise, if needed. He was right-- replacing just the front mounts made a dramatic difference. The car is much quieter now! In addition, he replaced the fluids in the car (transmission, etc.). He also replaced spark plugs and a few other miscellaneous parts. I was really surprised when he called later that night around 8 PM or so-- just to see if I was satisfied with the work and to see if the car was quieter! This is a first time for a follow-up phone call from an auto shop for me-- I was pretty impressed. The pricing was better than other shops I had used previously, they were able to get me in right away, they were courteous, direct and just really easy to work with!! I will be using them for any future work!!

Called RMB Auto based on convenience of location and Angie's List reviews, spoke with employee Marie, she was helpful and very friendly over the phone, she mentioned they could get my car in that afternoon. When I dropped my car off I was personally greeted by Rod the owner and he was already informed of issues with my car. Rod explained to me in clear terms what they would look for, then offered me transportation back home, but I had already arranged for a ride (very nice courtesy though!). Just a short time later I received a call and clear explanation from Rod what my car needed following inspection, I agreed to the work and price. Car was ready by closing time that same day. Since the repair my car is running great, I'm getting much better mileage and my check engine light has not come back on. Prior to taking my car into RMB Auto, my husband had encouraged me to start looking for a newer car, there's comfort in knowing my car is in good running condition and dependable; Rod confirmed for me the car is in good shape. I would not hesitate recommending RMB Auto to family, friends or colleagues!

I dropped my car off on Saturday night, leaving a voicemail as to why I left it. I had a call back Monday morning an estimate by Monday afternoon. The car was done Tuesday at noon as promised. They beat the nearest quote from another company by $300. I haven't had this positive of an experience with a service provider in a long time. I am glad to have found someone I can trust in the future.

My son goes to Michigan State University and called to tell me that the clutch was starting to go out on his Subaru. I googled a few mechanics that were close to him and found RMB Auto on Angie's List as well. I called around for several prices. RMB had lots of great reviews and was on the low end for pricing. They were courteous on the phone and Rod was extremely helpful in explaining the different options for completing the repair. My son dropped his car off and was given a ride back to his apartment. His car was done two days later as promised and they offered to pick him up so he didn't have to wait for his roommate. I appreciate the great service in working with me over the phone and going above and beyond to make sure my son had a ride (both times!). Overall, a great experience and according to my son, his car runs better than ever!

I was driving home on the highway and noticed my car was starting to slow down and didn't have any power. The temperature gauge was really high and my car overheated. I pulled over to the shoulder and steam was bellowing out from under the hood (this was really SCARY!!). I tried to restart my car but it wouldn't start. I called a tow truck company and had my car towed to a dealership (out of respect, I won't mention the dealership's name here). I was told that I needed a new engine. They wanted to replace my engine at a cost of over $4,800. This didn't seem feasible to me since my car's blue book value is only $6,000. I got online and googled auto repair and found RMB Auto Repair. They had lots of great customer reviews so I gave them a call. Rod was really nice and told me that he could replace my engine with a low mileage used engine for less than half the price the dealership had quoted me. I had my car towed there and met with Rod at his office that same day. He gave me a detailed estimate and timeframe for the repairs. He was able to replace my engine for a total cost of $1,800 and had it done in three days. I was amazed and my car runs better than it ever has!

Had a great experience with RMB Auto Repair! My 2006 Mercedes E350 needed a new water pump and coolant flush. I called around to get an idea of how much it was going to cost to get my car fixed after it overheated while I was driving to work. Rod was great on the phone. He asked questions about what happened, then helped me arrange towing and provided an explanation for all the work my car needed once he was able to look at it in person. I would recommend RMB Auto to anyone who needs car work done. Thanks so much for doing an awesome job!!! Friendly service and great prices! Overall, I had an awesome experience and am very happy I was able to get my car fixed the same day :)
