Two members came out to clean the air ducts. They used a powerful vacuum mounted in the truck and drilled holes in the ducts and attached the vacuum, which sucked out the contaminants. Kenny, the lead technician, explained the entire process before starting the cleaning, and he said that I could watch them work if I wanted. They were very through in cleaning the supply and return ducts. They arrived on time and worked efficiently. We'll have to see how effective the duct cleaning is in reducing dust and other contaminants in the house, but I would recommend this company to anyone considering having their ducts cleaned.

I was very pleased with the service. Two people came out to perform the service. They did all of it well. They systematically cleaned the air intake for all of the registers in the house. They systematically went down and drilled holes in the ducts and used the tool to actually scrub the sides of the ducts and kept working their way back to the furnace with a big vacuum. They did this will all the ducts. All the holes that they drilled, they plugged for future use, should they come back.

They took the 8x10 rug down in the basement and steamed cleaned it. Then they cleaned to carpet in the basement and my bedrooms. They did an excellent job. Plus they gave me a coupon to use next time for their services.

All went awesome..they took there time and did the job right and took pictures as they went on how the ducts looked...I never write or comment on these questionires..but i even took the time to call the company and even tell them how Chad and Derek worked...a supervisor even came out to see how they were doing.....these two guys were happy and never tried to sell anything else...in this day and age customer service is the key to building a business.. and the end of there job they sat down and show the before and after pictures...what a job...thank you every much Kevin Lentz

1. Arrived a half hour early. Called to let me know they would be early. 2. Dave & Kyle performed the cleaning of the hot air vents and cold air vents. They both did an excellent job and made the house smell really fresh. 3. There was so much dust and other foreign objects in ducts. 4. Dave did the cleaning of the hot air ducts upstairs while Kyle did the basement. 5. Vacuumed and made sure all vents were put on before packing up and leaving. Also put a plug where drilling was done in all vents in basement. 6. I would recommend this company. Excellent job..

Debated using Modernistic to clean carpets based on the A's and F's but used them in the past for cleaning our furnace vents and had been satisfied so I gave them a call. We closed on a new home the day before service and was set to move in the day after so we were under a huge time crunch. Originally was not going to clean carpets but noticed a few stains night after close and changed our mind. We called them mid-morning and stated they could get us in same day but could not give us a real time but we were going to be at the house off and on all day so no big deal for us. Gave us a surprising low quote on the phone even though I knew our rooms were huge including the living and dining area I mentioned and she counted it as 2 zones which was fine because I might have considered it as 4 by other companies sq ft. Their crew Sherry and Josh made it late in the day, assessed all the rooms including the stains and was very informative and I think a little shocked by how much carpet we had to clean. I asked which job we were and they noted around 6 or 7. Regardless they took their time and did a top notch job! They easily removed the stains in the concern rooms and even diagnosed what it was! Can't believe we almost didn't have them cleaned before we moved in but real glad I called Modernistic! I did pay attention and was there through the entire process but Sherry and Josh were great! I usually write reviews for services but wanted to share our story for those debating after reading the F ratings to share our experience which was GREAT! Final charge was just a bit higher $20-$30 than quoted over the phone but I might not have heard it right. I would have expected to pay much more for the cleaning and service we received today.

Upon initial visit, they were in and out in under 45 minutes. The young men were polite and I had to leave while they worked but left a check and even a cash tip. They were to clean all carpets in house to inlude living room, upstairs office and bedroom, stairs and landing, and guest bedroom. I came home to find the guest bedroom and stairs had not been touched. I called back and got attitude from the gal answering the phone, but they did come out and to supposedly finish the job they were paid for. THey arrived, they did apologize for missing the room and stairs and then left again without doing the stairs! I called back and asked to speak with owner. Never got a call back. Within about ten days all the stains I thought they removed began to surface. When I called them and told them this the gal on the phone said, and quot;well if you have stains through the carpet this will eventually happen, the stains will creep back in eventually.and quot; I said, and quot;OK, but in 10 days? could this have anything to do with them being there only 45 minutes for a large home/job?and quot; I again asked for the owner to call me. Never heard from a manger or owner. Essentially paid for a job that was never completed and the parts that were completed, stains returned within ten days. Caution! Save your money!

Went well. Grant and Andy did a great job and answered all my questions. It was the first time my 1960s era home had its ducts cleaned as far as I can tell.

They arrived early and did an excellent job. They exPlained what they were going to do, showed us their progress along the way and afterward, took us around, demonstrated their work and explained everything they had done. They were extremely courteous, friendly and I would most definitely use them again! We were just moving in to the house so had no furniture for them to move, so can't really comment on that aspect of it.

Had to come back a second time because the first time basically all they did was spread the traffice area dirt around to other areas. Second trip left the carpets in the same condition. Workers had their Ipods going and were very unprofessional. Took personal calls on their cell phones. Our business will NEVER use them again!

Very well done, two men, large hose attached to the most central part of the vent system. Then compressed air and a and quot;wandand quot; (heavy plastic streamers at the end of an air hose) was run from the furthest vent, up to and beyond the next vent. Then thy moved to the next vent and repeated. You could hear all the loose debris and dirt being pulled into the hose. They checked the furnace and replaced the filter, then ran the heat and blower for a few minutes, to check that no loose debris was coming from any of the vents. They cleaned up, made sure all the vents were replaced and properly seated. They were on their way in about two hours total. I can't really tell that our air quality significantly improved, but they pulled out a lot of dirt and dust. And most of all, the wife is happy.

The two serviceman spent a fair amount of time trying to locate the area of concern and ultimately succeeded in the critter retrieval from our vent. They did note an additional repair and location needed to repair the duct as well. We have a crawl space and they had no issue getting dirty to located the issue. My only concern was that I did not stay home and relied on my wife to interact with the servicemen. I expected that they could locate and remove the critter without crawling under the house and cutting into the plastic barrier membrane of our manufactured home. Knowing this in advance, I would have stayed home to assist but they were very professional and discussed everything eith my wife to relay to me and seal up the plastic barrier as best they could. Retreival without this would have received an overall A but they did their job and we were satisfied.

They are local. They advertise all the time. They came out, but I couldn't tell that they did anything. The carpets just basically ended up looking the same. I was unhappy with the experience. They were very surprisingly cheap.

I was happy with them. They were prompt and kind. They cleaned nicely. We do have a cleaner of our own so we mostly do it ourselves. I had no complaints about their service. I would use them again.

It went well. They were on time. They were quick. They did a good job. Everything was clear. They were very conscientious of our house and made sure they didn't track anything in.
