The workers were on time, friendly and they did great work. My wife and I were very happy with the work that was performed and we will definitely use them again.

They were on time, friendly and communicated well throughout the entire process. Their quality of work was amazing and we will definitely use them again for any of our plumbing or remodeling needs.

They made no effort to run a snake to check for a possible obstruction. Three days later the flushing problem returned. This time it completely backed up and overflowed. I managed to use a plunger to free the system up. I ended up contacting another plumbing company (Hedlund) to see what was the periodic obstructing. This serviceman ran a snake, completely removed the bowl and snaked it again. Could not locate the obstruction but referenced a sub-contractor (Hosco) to run a snake through the stack. Problem solved, but no thanks to the indifference of Miteff plumbing; for which I was charged $100 travel fee with no favorable results. No effort, no payment. This fee should not have been charged.

Called Miteff (second time using their services) and explained garbage disposal was leaking. After answering a few questions, I was told that from his experience it sounded like the disposal most likely needed to be replaced (or removed). I was given the cost for parts and labor. DJ and Joe arrived within fifteen minutes and saw the housing had indeed rusted. They had the disposal changed quickly. They then discovered another leaking connector piece and replaced that as well. Very personable, professional, and prompt. (Used Angie's List coupon to get $20 off. Cost given was before coupon.) Would call again.

I made an appointment for 3:00pm on Friday, July 8, 2016 and the plumber did not show up or call.

When water started dripping from the kitchen light fixture in my elderly parent's home, I knew we had a major problem! Since water could only be shut off from the master valve, it also meant we would be without water until the leak was fixed. Our usual plumber (a private contractor) couldn't be reached, so my father called several big name plumbing businesses listed in the phone book, but none were able to help us until after the weekend. Guess it was time to put my Angie's List subscription to it's first test! After reading reviews and narrowing my selections I chose Miteff' Plumbing because they had later operating hours, and as I had hoped, they were able to send two plumbers out by 3 PM that day. After cutting two small holes in our kitchen ceiling they quickly discovered a leak in the bathroom sink drain pipe. Opening another small hole in a closet wall allowed them to fix the drain in short order, so we asked them to attend to some other small problems. In less than 45 minutes they were able to rebuild a leaky toilet flapper and tighten fittings on an outside faucet. In all instances they worked with professionalism and efficiency, treating both our home and my parents with respect, which I greatly appreciate. Much thanks to Miteff Plumbing, we will definitely be calling them for our future plumbing needs!

Joe, the plumber, arrived pretty on time. My wife showed him where the problem was and he stated he thought he would only have to replace one of the lines running into the canister. The water to the refrigerator had been shut off since we noticed the problem back in April. Joe, without turning on the water , went ahead and replaced a few feet of line on one side of the filter. Then replaced filter and job was completed. Time to complete task was less than one hour. After job was completed Joe then turned water to filter back on to see if water returned to refrigerator dispenser. Water did not return to dispenser. Joe then pull the refrigerator out and found water on the floor. Joe then checked hook-ups and determined water was coming from internal refrigerator. Joe, was a very nice man. Joe,being a plumber ,you would think to totally access the water leakage problem from the filter you would have turned water on before finalizing your game plan. For what ever reason that was never done. He went ahead and replaced canister and a few feet of one water line. The real problem is with the refrigerator. He finally found that out but after the fact. The bill for this was 400.00. The bill was not broken down by cost or labor. I went on-line and found out water filter was 25.00 and 3/4 inch line for a few feet was 15.00. So labor was 350.00 for the one hour. Joe,went to the car to make out bill--sure he called boss and told him what had transpired. Joe presented bill sheepishly to us.We Knew boss instructed him to charge us that amount. When my wife spoke to Shawn Denny,owner, he said from what we explained to him on the phone the cost could be anywhere from 250.00 to 400.00. This figure was based on how many lines would have to be replaced and the cause of the leak. The price was outrageous for the service provided. If real source of leakage had been found at onset only a evaluation fee should have been charged. Joe nice guy --company a rip off. Will not use or recommend.

The scheduling & replacement of the water heater went fine. The personnel were polite and on time with the original installation. After the installation there was a question on the length of the manufacture's warranty on the heater. In every attempt to resolve this I had to initiate the conversation. Even when it was determined that an additional part was needed to extend the warranty from 6 to 10 years on the heater and I was willing to discuss the cost of the part I did not hear back from them on the actual cost.

We hired Miteff Plumbing in Lansing, MI again for our recent plumbing repairs. Jody, DJ, and Joe are a first class team. They called us with their arrival time and came with all the correct materials for a cluster of repairs. Shut off valves and other pipe fittings are hard for me with my arthritis. They accomplished work in cabinets and down below that are stubborn, tight spots. We had 4 new bathroom shut offs installed. A new laundry room sink and fawcet with new shut offs for the sink and wash machine. A new gauge was also installed for our well pressure tank in the basement. They did a professional job and were always on task until the finish. They are still our first call for our plumbing needs! Thanks, guys!

Went very well, crew was very professional. Having some trouble getting them back to take a look at flooring, but it is a busy time.

Excellent experience. Very quick and professional service. Fit well in to my schedule, I didn't even have to miss work. Replaced a pump in less than an hour. Reasonable price as well.

They started by removing everything from the bathroom except for the toilet. I am an 81 year old woman with only one bathroom so this was a problem. Everyone who worked on the bathroom was very kind, professional and did their best to make things easy and comfortable for me, including one young man that made extra trips to make sure I had a working toilet every night. I've never worked with a more hard working, polite and caring group of young men. I had included replacing the sink drains behind the wall because I have had a slow draining or completely plugged sink drain many times. When they started doing this, they found a pipe that was starting to break so they had to replace that and the 4 inch waste and vent pipe from above the toilet to the basement floor. Shawn added a very moderate price to the original proposal. The bathroom is beautiful. They did an excellent job on the tiling, both on the floor and in the shower. I have absolutely no complaints on anything that was done to complete this project. I would highly recommend Miteff Plumbing for any project small or large. They deserve an A+ rating. y i

was professionally done in a timely manner. kept us informed the entire time. and gave helpful suggestions on solving some of our problems with the bathroom. went quite a bit faster then what I would have expected for such an extensive job. would highly recommend them for any plumbing job, and will not hesitate to use them again for all my plumbing needs. also did a good job keeping it cleaned up, and removing the residue from the demolition of our old bathroom. again, was extremely pleased with the end result. .

I got quotes from a couple companies at first. Miteff plumbing came in on the high side (which is why I gave a B for price), but they were the only ones who could do everything, without me having to find a separate carpenter to make space in the cabinet. They were also the most professional, and clearly knew what they were doing. They made a plan and got back right away with an estimate. Once I was ready to go, they were available to do it right way. I think the job could have taken longer, but they were in and out within just a few hours. The dishwasher looks like it was meant to be there. They also explained everything they did after they did it. I would definitely consider them for another job, or any plumbing work in the future.

Will be hiring this company again without a second thought! The work was finished with perfection over the period of a couple weeks. At some point I met all of the employees of Miteff as they came to complete different stages of the jobs. The guys arrived on time each day and were all polite, efficient, courteous and friendly. I was keep in the loop on all aspects of the work. I was most impressed by the cleanliness of the work area. Each day they tidied up and vacuumed any dust or debri left behind. You would've never known anyone was working in that space. I can't say enough good stuff about this company and the employees, I highly recommend!

Tried to replace the valve myself, got the trim off and could see no way to remove the internal valve. I assumed the entire shower valve would need to be replaced and re-plumbed at a cost of at least $500-$600, and need to tear out some drywall and shelves in the closet behind the shower. After emailing some pictures they said they had a "special tool" and could replace the internal valve in the existing housing. The special tool must have been more difficult to use than they had anticipated, my wife tells me they were here for several hours with lots of banging noises, but they got the valve fixed. It works and look great, and they stood by their original quote. I intend to give them first shot at any of my future plumbing business, as they appear to be both honest and competent.

Miteff arrived earlier than planned, and called to ok. Shawn and Jody were prompt, polite and quite professional, keeping me informed of all they were doing. Overall, very pleased with performance and cost. High marks, to be sure.

They were quick, efficient, incredibly friendly, and very concerned with customer satisfaction. The gasket on the toilet started to leak after they left. When I called, they came right back and fixed it immediately. Turns out old toilets have sad gaskets and don't like to be moved.

Shawn Denny and his crew are very easy to work with and did a fantastic job. Job took a total of twelve days to complete. Me and the wife are very happy with the new bathroom.

They were very prompt even with the long drive out to our house. They were very responsible in their work and picked up everything with no issues. I asked about other plumbing upgrades and they were very knowledgeable about the current materials. They were peace of mind for us. I would not hesitate to call them again.

Awesome. I called late on a Friday afternoon and they made it that night to replace it! I was a little panicked since we were going to put our house on the market and wanted it replaced asap. I called, texted and left a message on angies list. They knew I was in a panicked state and they took care of it right away!

When I called them in the first place I thought that the sup pump was not working as my basement had water. I thought that I might as well get a pump with a battery backup which was going to cost $1550.00. When they came up they discovered what caused the backup in the basement is that outside I had the hose for taking the water away was kinked and bundled up and that caused the backup. They got the pump working again and took the pump with battery backup back with them. This is a very honest company as they could have said nothing and charged me $1550.00 instead of $149.00

Outstanding job! Shawn's crew is great. Always on time...never left a mess. Three worked the first couple of days...demo, new walls, and tub installation. After that, Josh did the remainder of the detail work, which included some craftsman style trim work. He is very precise...a perfectionist! All the guys were very professional, respectful, and friendly. I have been recommending Miteff Plumbing to everyone.

Second time using this provider and they are our go to company for plumbing!!! Prompt, courteous and efficient!!
