Description of Work: Installed laundry pump and through the ceiling drain pipes to enable laundry capabilities in the basement of my home.

Description of Work: I had a leak from a drain pipe in my attic and I called Miteff Plumbing late in the evening hoping to leave a message. But they answered the call right away and setup an appointment for the next day. DJ and another guy (didn't catch his name) showed up on time and fixed the leak pretty quickly. They had to replace a PVC Y joint in the attic. While one guy was working in the attic, DJ even replaced a leaky toilet flap and did not charge me for it. Both of them took care to wear shoe covering everytime they came into the house. Impressed by their work I also got a quote to fix my busted outdoor garden hose connection (I was not planning on fixing it since I have another working one on the other side of the house). They came back the next day and fixed it. I would definitely call them first if I need anymore plumbing work.

Description of Work: I had water gushing under my sink... apparently my kitchen sprayer had come unattached. Fortunately they were able to find the clip that came off and fixed it and I believe they only charged my for the service call. I can't remember how much that was- if I had to guess I would say ~$30-50, but it's been awhile.

Description of Work: They put in a new line in the basement for an outside faucet that can be shut off during the winter and also they put in a new knob for the outside faucet

Description of Work: Plumber repaired a leaky faucet. He worked with the existing faucet and provided information about what would be needed for it in the future if we decide to keep it. He kept trying until the leak was fixed. I requested estimates on other service and changes which he was unable to provide but he scheduled a follow-up appointment for estimates within about 24 hours. I am very pleased with the service. We may contract with this company for future remodeling.

Description of Work: They ran a new gas line for stove.

Description of Work: Replaced all sink and toilet shutoff valves, installed one toilet, rebuilt-moved- and installed another toilet, replaced leaking outside faucet and fixed potential leak in basement pipe. They did an excellent job. Their price was A LOT cheaper than others who quoted. I will recommend them to others.

Description of Work: We had water in our basement; we called MP to come take a look. We were worried that we would need to install a sump pump at considerable cost. When they came out, they evaluated what was going on and explained to us that we needed to fix our gutters which were causing water to come back into the basement, and that we didn't need a sump pump, or may not need one, if that solved the issue. Well, it did! Clearly we are somewhat naive homeowners as this is our first house, and they could have taken us for quite a ride, and didn't. Their honesty is wonderful in this day and age. Should we have plumbing needs in the future, and I am sure we will, we will call them without hesitation.

Description of Work: Let me start by saying , I' m a senior and back several years ago I worked in construction and finished carpentry. Later I became a cabinet maker. At this time of my life I can' t physically do that type of work. After several bids I chose Miteff Plumbing. I thought their bid was reasonable. My wife and I were going to have a complete remodel on our bathroom. The single biggest concern I had was quality, I wanted the best quality products and workmanship for my money. Miteff Plumbing gave me just that. Shawn Denny and his crew started the job 5/4/2012,the day and time that they said they would, no time delays. When they came in Shawn introduced his crew to me, Boris and Josh and over the next week I got to know this crew and can tell you that they are a great bunch of guys.They are very friendly,and thoughtful,hard working,professional,and quality minded individuals. Any mess that was made,which was very little, they cleaned it up every day. The first day here at our house they completely gutted the entire bathroom, removed everything in there. They installed a new whirlpool tub and shower unit along with running a new circuit and electric wiring of the whirlpool. At the end of the day they reinstalled our old toilet so that we would have our bathroom to use. Very considerate! Other contractors said we would be without bathroom facilities for 3 or 4 days. This was a plus. Day 2 . Shawn had his drywall man Bill Higgins come in and completely skim coat entire bathroom. Drywall work is not easy work. Bill made it look easy and I was amazed at the finish he had put on the walls. There was hardly any sanding that Bill had to do,meaning no drywall dust , another plus! Day 3. Shawn's flooring man Andy Torok and his helper Dan arrived on time and were at our house for for about 1 1/2 hours,did the linoleum and again were very prompt, friendly, and quality minded professional workers. That same day Shawn,Boris and Josh installed the vanity, flooring trim and door casing. Our bathroom was really starting to come together and we really liked what we saw. We had to wait a couple of days for Rick the painter to finish up a big job he was working on. He came in the evening and pre-cut the walls,painted the trim and did the ceiling. The next day he finished the walls , we were very impressed with the paint. There was such a difference with having a professional paint a room as opposed to me painting a room. Shawn, Boris and Josh also came back that day to hang the mirror,install the light bar, install the new toilet and vanity top, towel bar, towel ring and double shower rod. They also reinstalled a new vent fan that wasn't working right. My wife and I are totally satisfied with the quality of workmanship that Miteff Plumbing produced. They went above and beyond what I expected, they saw to it that we were never without the bathroom facility. Shawn set us up with a discount at Builders Plumbing and Heating Supply in Lansing Mi and a showroom sales person named Terry. She like everyone else we worked with was extremely helpful. She explained about buying quality hardware versus lower grade products.We chose quality. We also bought our vanity there,after looking all over Lansing for a quality cabinet, and here is where I really judged quality, because of my cabinet making experience. They sold the cabinet that I will say was the best quality in this city. All of these people were a great group of people to work with. When we decide to remodel the next room in our house I will use these businesses once again. All my neighbors and family that have seen this remodel marvel at the quality that was preformed. Yes, I would recommend Miteff Plumbing to anyone looking for professionals. Thanks to Shawn Denny.

Description of Work: Shawn has been our plumber for the last four years. We flip houses and his work ALWAYS passes inspection, is always neat and clean and helps us support the value of the houses we flip. We also have Shawn provide us work on our Apartments and again, he is professional, timely. The only time he has had to come back was to tighten a tank screw on a toilet that was loose from the factory. The last work he did for us was to replace two shower assemblies. They came out great and they really dress up the bathroom. Shawn is getting busier and busier in his business and it is easy to understand why.
