Livingston Building Company didn't pay the blacktop company or the mason company for the work they did prior to closing. The contractors that didn't get paid put liens on our house. Our floors are uneven, our window upstairs leaks and they are ignoring our requests for repair. I am told by someone in my sub that they are going out of business.

It has been an awful experience. Builder did not do a proper site survey and put driveway on neighbor's property. Then the builder moved the driveway without permission from the road commission resulting in several violations. A serious accident occurred on site; four men were hurt. Of course the builder (Ms. Wyble) was not on site at this time and was very rarely on site. Many, many mistakes were made and never corrected. Sloppy siding and window trim, doors that don't function correctly (10 of them!), never finished the front steps, rear steps, or screened in porch. Some workmanship is incredibly substandard. Crushed concrete with rebar and glass was dumped in our driveway as a top coat without our permission. Very poor final grade. Builder does not understand that she can not spend money without written approval and signatures from homeowners. The majority of the profit was taken out of our loan very early and now subcontractors are going unpaid. Not recommended!!
