Ingham Painting/Manuel did an excellent job painting our house. We appreciated all of the 'prep work' (caulking, cleaning and window trim repairs), and Manuel always kept us up to date on how the job was going. Manuel was always on hand to answer questions and everyone at the site was friendly and hard working. We're thrilled with how the house looks! And the job was completed ahead of schedule. We wouldn't hesitate to hire Ingham Painting again.

The house looks GREAT. Manuel was easy to work with and went out of his way to make sure he was meeting expectations throughout the job. The weather was a challenge and he kept in close communication about the schedule. He is very personable, conscientious and provides a great service at a fair price. I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again.

Mr. Heredia and his crew did a wonderful job painting the interior of my home. They were punctual and cleared the area before leaving each day. Very easy to work with. I highly recommend him!

Manual and his crew stained and painted our wood sided house for us, and we are very pleased with the outcome of the job. Manuel is a very personable and professional person which was evident in the quality of his work. He communicated well when he would be working based on the weather conditions. This is the 2nd time we have used Manuel for a painting job. He also painted an interior room in our house. Both jobs were well done in a timely manner and I would highly recommend Manuel Heredia and Ingham Painting to others for all painting jobs.

Manuel gave a good price but he started the job and asked for money to fix his truck, so I gave him $600 cash, then he asked for another $400 cash a few days later and I felt bad for him so gave it. Then he started patching cracks and painting over them without sanding and it looked terrible! Some places he put tape and painted right over it. He also only does one coat if you don't watch him. He refused to fix it, and argued so I let him go and hired someone else. I learned that it is not a good idea to give money up front, because then if they do a bad job, you have no leverage to reconcile, except posting reviews to help other people avoid the same mistakes.

Manuel and his crew were easy to work with and did a fantastic job painting my old aluminum and brick sided house. I highly recommend them!

Manuel and his staff person did a wonderful job. They had to work around a couple of rain days, but the job was finished in a timely manner. I had new siding put on my garage and Manuel was able to get the house paint color to match perfectly.This was a two coat job because of the difference in the original house color and the new color. Manuel made sure that the old color was completey covered. I have had compliments from my neighbors on how nice the house looks I would recommend Ingham Painting if you have an exterior house painting job.

Oustanding work, very reliable, conscientious and made sure that teh work is well done. we had a quote from 2 other companies and Ingham painting came back almost half price. Manuel knew that we really wanted to have the soffit and fascia painted as well but couldn't afford it, so he did it for us at no additional charge. a very a nice person to work with. i was so happy with the work that i wanted to advertise for him. i am in the design profession and i know that good contractors are very hard to find.

Mr. Heredia and his helper would come to job at 10 a.m. or later, and leave before 3 p.m. His helper is fully employed at another non-painting job. No contract provided when agreeing to use his services on June 29th. Job not completed until after August 2nd. No warranty for re-staining provided. Trim painting inside of windows was sloppy. Mr. Heredia had to be reminded several times of areas needing improvement. Their ladders damaged flowers in some areas. We picked up equipment left in yard on some occasions. No stain left for touch-up purposes. I had to go to Sherwin Williams to buy an additional gallon of stain at my expense less contractor's discount. Mr. Heredia was always pleasant and accommodating. Based on some of Ingham Painting Company previous reviews, we selected them for the work. Cannot recommended him based on our experience for exterior staining.

Everything went well and Manuel completed the job in a timely manner.

Manuel was professional and his worker did a good job. They made sure we were happy with what they did. The cedar siding needed a lot of patching as we have a woodpecker problem. We were very happy with the results. They kept the work site clean.

They did a great job, kept us informed the whole time, and left a great end product. It did take longer than he originally committed to, but we weren't in a huge rush so the extended timeline wasn't a big issue. He also adjusted the price due to the inconvenience, so it worked out. He was very adamant about leaving a great end product, and encouraged me to walk the house in detail and make a list of issues for him to fix (which he happily fixed). Overall great job and I would hire him again!

It was Manuel and one other man. They worked approx 5 hours a day for 8 days until the job was complete. They were very pleasant and easy to have around. We felt comfortable leaving them and getting our Christmas shopping done. There was some touch up that needed to be done but WE CHOSE to do that ourselves because of the time frame to our family Christmas time. We would not hesitate to call them again in the future.

Manuel and his crew did a fantastic job. Manuel kept me up to speed on the daily progress and was very friendly to work with. He and another worker worked trough one weekend (Sunday included) to take advantage of the nice painting weather. I would recommend them to friends and family ad will use them again when the need arises. Manuel followed up after the job was complete to see if their work met my expectations. This was after they were paid so I was very surprised and appreciative of the followup.

Manuel is very professional and skilled at painting, but during a busy time of the year (summer, when outdoor painting can also be done), my job was worked around other jobs, so I needed to allow extra time for my whole job to be done. I didn't mind doing this because I had the time, but if you want something done within a tight time frame, you'll need to keep this in mind. Manuel communicates effectively about painting and he clearly knows his profession, but it's always a good idea to work with more specific questions and details. I gave a general description once and needed to clarify it later, but there weren't any problems with this. It's a good, local company and I would use them again.

Manuel seems like he is a very geuine good man and was very responsive in setting up our initial meeting. I even messed up on my timing of our appointment and he came earlier than planned to be accommodating to my schedule. We went over the job and he pointed out areas he could repair cosmetic wall areas. We covered paint colors and rooms to be completed. A big job in my opinion with lots of areas to be painted. He said he would contact me Friday (basically in a week). I assumed he was going to email me a bid at that time or call with a bid. I heard back nearly a week after he said he would contact me and he left a message saying he could start the next week and suggested we have our general contractor fix any imperfections in the walls and they would paint. I had already hired another painting company by then so I just called and thanked him for his time. Maybe he would have worked out okay, but with the delay in getting back to me and with him saying they just wanted to paint then it just didn't seem like the right company for me. I wish them all the best, but ideally their services wouldn't have worked for me in the end anyway.

Fighting the weather was a challenge but Manuel kept us informed of the schedule and always answered calls and replied to text messages. The job was completed in a timely manner and exceeded all of our expectations. We would recommend Ingham Painting for any project and will definitely use them again.

Paint walls in 4 Bedrooms, Kitchen, 3 full Bathrooms, 1 Living room,2 Hallways, 3 Family rooms. Removed wallpaper in 2 Bedrooms. Painted all associated closets Manuel was very diligent in making sure I was pleased with the work, in regular meetings throughout the project. He and his crew worked weekends to get the project done on time. I also liked that he used high quality Sherwin Williams paints. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Ingham Painting to all. Would hire again. COMPLETELY SATISFIED

We found Ingham Painting on Angie's list and went with them after comparing 2 bids. The process went well overall. I think the job took longer than either than us thought it would, but Manuel is there all the time and listens carefully to your concerns taking care of any problems that may arise. He went overboard in terms of making unforeseen repairs to the walls and repainting areas that still needed cover. The one comment I would make is that if you pay a bit more to Manuel to get the better line of Behr paints. When we hired Manuel we decided to use Behr paints because we assumed this was the best, but there are different levels of quality (Home Depot has a chart showing these). We used the middle-range quality of Behr, and the problem is that these days you get a paint and primer in one, and I think this takes for more coverage than might have been in the old days. The premium Behr has, I think, a thicker cover. This was especially a problem for our walls that have a textured look (a la the 1940s) that I would have preferred to get rid of but could not afford an entire drywall job. As a result, some of the walls needed three coats. If I had to do this over again I would have sprung to pay for the more expensive paint to save time. To Manuel's credit, though, the final payment was more-or-less what his original estimate was despite any extra labor that was required. He and one other worker worked diligently for 6 hours straight every weekday, ensuring quality and touch ups. They moved furniture and put tarps over everything, cleaned everything constantly - like chipped paint from prep work - and made it easy enough for us to live and work in our home while they worked. Manuel is friendly, considerate, and careful, and very professional. The end result was terrific. Our older home now looks great and detail work - like trim, lines between ceiling and walls, damaged and repaired bathroom areas, all look great. Manuel Heredia is always available by cell phone and he has pictures of past work he can share.

Manuel and his team were wonderful. They were polite and professional. They cleaned up after themselves every day. Very hard working. We had several timing issues with other services (electrician, etc). They were flexible with schedules, responded quickly to my calls/messages. The painting job was very high quality. I would definitely use them again.

Was concerned about hiring a painter to paint my daughter's home in East Lansing as I was an hour away and could not supervise the work very closely. Contacted Manuel of Ingham Painting and he responded the same day. He went to the house the next day to evaluate the work that needed to be done and had me a quote that week. I was pleased with his professionalism and willingness to work with me. We agreed on a price, work was started and he stayed in daily contact with me to describe the progress and ask questions and go over concerns. He would even call when things went well. My daugher and I are extremely happy with the outcome and would definitely hire again and will do so when we are ready to paint the garage interior.

A paint job that should have taken 5 days took 3 months. Generally only one person worked at a time and very often the individual made mistakes and was totally inept. We selected the company because we used them 10 years ago with good results. No more. It is a totally different operation now. No supervision of workers who spoke almost no English and were generally sloppy. Ineptness and mistakes caused delays and problems that had to be corrected. A very aggravating experience.

I wanted an estimate to have my small deck cleaned & refinished. I did receive a call back the first time and made arrangements for him to come out and look at the deck and give an estimate on a weekend (I was not going to be home). I've called and left messages about 4 times since then and never receive a response.

Pleasant to work with and did a very good job.
