The service person was punctual and very thorough with his inspection of our furnace. He cleaned the furnace and answered all of our questions. He was very informative, especially as we were not sure about the installation of the furnace by the previous owners and he gave us his honest opinion. Our only complaint was the follow through by Hagar Fox's customer service department. We were eligible for a energy rebate from our energy utility company however it requires Hagar Fox to submit a statement for the customer and while we contacted the customer service department twice over the phone and once over their electronic email system, no one returned our phone calls or messages. The one time we spoke with someone we were asked if this was the first time we had called, which was not a good sign. Overall, quite impressed by their service professionals, not impressed by their customer service department unfortunately.

No issues, but really didn't do anything complicated; I could have done this service myself if I had known that all he was going to do was clean the unit. He was professional and had some good advice about things to do in the future, and the price wasn't that much, so I still rated the job well done, but I might advise others to inquire about what a particular package deal on Angie's List actually includes.

Arrived on time. Completed jobbing. 4 knows, cleaned up installation area. Courteous, Impregnated. Price reduced by heat exchanger credit and energy efficiency rebutter.

Showed up on time, wore paper booties to protect my floor. Very knowledgeable about my system- turns out he'd serviced it for the previous owner!

He came around 8:30. Did not talk much until he finished & he explained what he did & how the furnace works.

No pressure sales. Helped sign us up for financing/rebate, prompt installation appointment, courteous, professional installation. Cleaned up after install.

They were on time and very good, went over and above by cleaning the area before and after the job was done.

Salesman was very prompt & did not try to sell me more than I needed. Installer was also right on time and completed job faster than expected.

I chose Hager Fox for their name & reputation & was not disappointed. From the salesman to the installer, it was very professional & extremely well.

I highly recommend this firm. I bought a furnace cleaning deal, and it was a very good bargain. I arranged for someone to come out today, the 8th. He called before showing up and it was within the window of time given me by the firm. The workman's name was Todd, and he was terrific. He explained everything to me and showed me what he was doing and what I needed to do, check, etc. (This is the 1st house I've had with blown air heating, as opposed to having a boiler/burner system.) I really appreciated the time he took to explain and how careful he was with everything. Plus, my dog loved him. Bonus. Can't say enough good things. Will definitely call again. Thanks.

While we didn't get the news we wanted, our tech was great and very helpful. I think he did a great job and I would work with him again. My only complaint would be they didn't give any window of service time, not even a 4 hour window. It's hard to plan when all your given is a service date. This obviously wasn't the techs fault.

All went very well! Workers arrived on time. Installation was done, as always.

They have past experience with our furnace but, this was our first since we have owned the house. He was very professional and explained things about what he was doing. Will use them again.

The install was way more difficult to do then we expected. New access points had to be custom cut into the old roofs in the attic. We had to help with some carpentry.

Installer was early. Did a good job and completed the job. Electricians got there and finished the job. All done in one day as promised.

They did a reasonable job. No additional costs.

Good Morning, I was not the least impressed by the service provided by Hager Fox. His visit was more of a sales push for a dehumidifying system. Although I need one my major concern was the maintenance of the heating system in my home. I expected him to do the maintenance check and then make recommendations. He did not note that the exhaust leading out side was broke off inside, nor did he comment on the leaks in the duct work. I pointed out things I needed fixed and what he did was set me up with a salesman for air conditioning and dehumidifier and indicated that I was to tell the salespeople what additional work needs to be done to the system. The cold air intake is completely disassembled and I wanted to get that work done as soon as possible before we need to run the furnace. The duct work definitely needs to be addressed. So as it stands I have to wait for the company to make a sales pitch and then at least another week to get someone out to look at the repairs to get a bid, then another week to actually get the work done. Apparently they are too big a company to worry about making the current system work than they are concerned about big money on sales. Deb

Eric & Andy (installers) & Arnie (Sales) were all great & efficient, polite, businesslike, & prompt. It was a pleasure dealing with all of them!

The tune-ups went great. The technician do a lot of work because the house was just purchased and the a little neglected. The furnace and AC were really dirty.

Sadly, Hager and Fox messed up on my initial appointment. I changed my schedule so they could do the work. I had an appointment at 4 on a Friday with a 4 hour window. I waited and waited. I kept checking my phone thinking they may have called. Susan said they worked late so when it was 8:30 pm I thought they were just running late and would be at my home any minute. No one showed up. I left messages through Angie's list. They said they did not get it. When Susan called on Monday she apologized for not putting me on the schedule. She said someone could come right now, which was really 1.5 hours later. The service man, Todd, was extremely courteous and professional. There was also a wire that I accidentally cut. Todd taped them together. Luckily, my freon levels had not leaked or anything. Now my air is running like brand new.

The technician was punctual, friendly, competent, and thorough.

It went really well. Troy was very nice and made sure that everything was working right before he left. He first inspected the furnace, also cleaned the air conditioner outside. Then he proceeded to check the thermostat and troubleshoot the system. The air conditioner was working but the blower wouldn't come on to distribute the cold air to the registers. He was very thorough and figure out the right connection for the thermostat and made it work right. Now our heating and cooling system works really well. I would definitely hire this company in the future.
