Was a great deal but services were located out of my area. They offered to make the 40 minute drive to complete the service and maintenance on my furnace but I declined.

Removed and replaced one motor and ordered a 2nd one which was installed a week later. Work was explained and 5 year warranty was included.

Purchased a furnace tune-up from Angie's list. The owner, Mike, called to schedule an appointment, called again to let me know he was running an hour late, and then arrived promptly. He inspected and cleaned the furnace (which had clearly not been serviced for some years) and gave me some helpful advice on how to improve the performance of the humidifier. Also did a thorough check for carbon monoxide. He did not try to sell me any equipment or services. I was impressed and will definitely call him again if need service in the future.

It went very well from the initial call to his departure. He explained what he was going to do and went about his work without any problems.

We are very happy with the work Michael did. He picked up a water heater we had purchased, installed it, and cleaned up afterwards. He was articulate, friendly, gave us additional information on the install, and answered many questions we had about a new furnace. The price was right, the experience great. I won't hesitate to call him again when we are ready to start our next project.

The company was able to schedule me within a week of when I called, even though this is their busy season. They were able to give me a time slot late in the day so I didn't have to take off work. Mike showed up on time and got right to work. He inspected the stove/heater and found that it didn't need any serviceing, and so didn't bill me for that even though he spent 10-15 minutes looking it over. He inspected the humidifier and gave me a few pointers on how to maintain it. He serviced the furnace and showed me the results and adjusted the insulation on my hot water heater. He also offered a number of other tips like how to get best prices on furnace filters. At the end of the service call he accepted the Angies List coupon and wouldn't bill me extra for the extra services. I still feel like I owe their company for the extra services and will definitely be contacting them to put in my new AC unit next spring.

I'm siding my house and wanted a clean finish around the outside gas meter. I had Friendly loosen the meter from the side of my house. After finishing the siding work, they came back a couple days later to reattach it. While here, they took a quick look at my furnace and ran it through a couple cycles to make sure it worked. Can't say enough about how accommodating Michael was. He worked around my schedule - coming out on a Saturday morning and finished it up on a Tuesday evening. He even tolerated my endless questions and my offers to "help".

We have used Friendly Heating and Cooling multiple times and highly recommend them. Michael is friendly, responsive, reasonably priced and provides great customer service. I can't say enough good things about my experience with them. Last winter our furnace stopped working. I called Michael and he came right over. It turned out that my flame sensor just needed cleaned. Michael cleaned it and then walked me through the steps to clean it in case it ever happened again in the future. He didnt even charge me for his time. The three other HVAC companies I called were going to charge me $80 just to step foot in my front door. When the supplier sent us a defective hot water heater, Michael stayed on top of the situation, kept me informed with what was going on and came over late on a Friday night to install the replacement heater so we would have hot water. Friendly Heating and Cooling will continue to be our go to contractor for all HVAC issues.

Courteous and responsive when setting up the appointment. Arrived on time. Technician was very friendly and willing to answer my questions about the condition of the furnace and AC (I had bought the house 6 mo prior and this was my first checkup) and OK'd my preference for leaving the blower fan running all the time in the summer. Even though furnace is 18 years old, he said it was in excellent condition and did not try to push a newer model as current furnace had only lost a little of it's former 90% efficency. Ditto the AC (circa 2006). He cleaned it and checked the running. Then said it was in excellent condition and, if I was willing to hose it off carefully, I could wait two years for the next maintainance check.
