If I could give less than one star I would. 3 appointments in a row were missed by Empire and they expected me to reschedule for a fourth try. On the first appointment they called 15 minutes before the end of the 2 hour window and said reps car broke down and couldn't make it, we rescheduled and on 2nd appointment they never showed and never called. We called Empire and of course they were apologizing and wanted a 3rd try and said it would never happen again. We gave them one more chance and scheduled a 3rd attempt. 1/2 hour before 3rd attempt and we get a call saying that rep is sick and can't make it and now want us to reschedule for a fourth try. What a sorry load of crap company this is. Never again would I even consider calling them again or giving them another chance. I wouldn't trust them with any of my money when they can't keep 3 appointments to try and make a sale. Empire will probably respond to this review exactly the way they do to all their reviews saying sorry for my experience and they will contact me shortly. The fact is they don't care about any of these issues and continue on.

They were on time and everything worked out fine. At the time I got a good deal and the quality was fine. With them I had to deal with only one contractor. I have some rooms to be carpeted and I am thinking about have them in to do it.

We saw their ad on TV, and they work in a good part of the state. They were available to install right away, that was the most outstanding part. The product is good quality for a reasonable price. It is not top quality, but I wasn't looking for top quality, so I would say it is good value for the dollar.

The kitchen went fine. The basement floor is uneven in many places. They didn't tell me that the cement underneath could be evened out. The basement floor has had seeping of glue through the seams for several months. I have called numerous times. They have come out to look at it, but, as of now, have not repaired the problem. They mentioned that the bad winter we had last year has caused moisture to form under the floor. I still need it repaired!

They had to come back and fix some things that they did wrong. One of the men that they had for putting in the no-wax vinyl flooring was not a professional. He was a new hire that day and he told them that he knew about what he was doing but he did not. He did a terrible job. So, somebody else had to come back and fix his mistakes. My overall experience with them was average. Their prices were high for the quality of work that they did.
