+ -1 moreThe handle replacements looked and functioned fine, keys and locks worked, but the hole repair was very poorly done. It literally looked like a job done by home repair kit rather than a professional . We asked Tripp's to redo the hole repair; the second fix was not much better than the first. It remained clearly visible and still had the appearance of a home repair. Upon our dissatisfaction with the final result, their response was something on the order of...we mentioned the hole was a difficult repair... and that their mantra is they guarantee their work for the life of the vehicle, but they could do no more. A lifetime guarantee does not matter if the repair doesn't look good cosmetically. We were not informed during the quote process that the hole repair would turn out to be clearly visible and have the look of a cheap patch. We would have sought a second opinion had that been the case. Even though the personalities were all pleasant at Tripp's, we would not recommend this business to anyone other than those seeking simple, straight forward auto body repairs.
Description of Work: Our vehicle was broken into, driver and passenger handles were busted and a hole punched through the driver door beneath the handle. We contracted Tripp's Autoshop Collision Center to repair the handles and the hole. They gave the option of replacing the handles and the driver door or just replacing the handles and patching the hole. We chose the latter as it was less expensive (we were paying out-of-pocket due to limited insurance coverage on a 2003 vehicle).
