checking. THIS IS CRIMINAL!! They might be cheaper in charges than Direct or Cable but if you have ANY problem with your billing don't expect any fast resolution. I have spent enough time on the phone with them to actually do my 2011 taxes. Today I was on the phone with them from 11:10 to 11:46 only to be told I won't get my money back until at least December 30-Jan 4th. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORST IN THE INDUSTRY! IF YOU HAVE AN OPTION, DO NOT GET DISH NETWORK.
Description of Work: Wanted HD TV. No one told me that there was a charge for the receiver or the tech to install. Charges came to $195.00. With Tech there, called Dish and agreed to 6.00 warrenty for receiver - they were suppose to take off 100.00 receiver charge. Next day, looked up bill and was charged 95.00 for Tech. Was told at Dish that if I signed up for auto bill pay they would charge me 6.00 per month to take off tech charge. I did that. On December 14th they took 247.00 out of my checking. Today they told me there was a "up to 20 day" hold on my check that was electronically taken out of my checking. Then they would refund the 195.00 back to my

Right from the beginning they lied to us. The technician said if we needed any additional help he would be happy to help. He said we could take the equipment out of our home and take it in our mobile home. I wasn't able to get it hooked up. When we got down to Fla, we saw Dish helping others out. We called and asked if they can help us get it set up. They said they didn't know what the problem was, but they could set up the dish on a pole outside of the camper and run a cord through the window. Of course thay won't work, we won't be in one place all the time. Eventually we decided to cancel the membership. I have several records of them telling me there is no cancelation fee's. However now after we returned all the equipment, they are charging us $178.00 on cancellation fee's. They have taken me to two collection agencies. They asked for me to return the equipment to an authorized dealer. That cost me a fortune in travel cost. I eventually got the money refunded, however it took quite a bit of hassel. I had to have my bank refund the money. The manager of the authorized dealer refused to refund my money eventhough they have a satisfaction guarantee. Overall they have treated me terribley, they have lied about our contract and have given me the run around on several occasions. I would not reccomend dish network to anyone. Use Direct TV.
