Ayers Basement Systems

My wife and I hired Ayres Basement Systems to waterproof our basement and were very pleased with the whole operation. This was a difficult job of extracting a strip of concrete basement floor near the footings then replacing it with a patented drain system with back-up sump pump, replacing gravel along the footings, and then again cementing it closed. The tireless group headed by Terry O. along with Bruce and Kyle worked for two long days of hard labor all the time caring for our home and keeping dust and debris at a very minimum. We would highly recommend them. Besides our excellent, friendly, and thorough work team, we appreciated the support from others on the staff too. It is a well run company and we are very pleased with the results.

Company was great, Ron our systems design specialist listened to our concerns and was very knowledgeable. The company sent us info on basements and crawl spaces and called us before the project date and the day of to let us know their arrival time. Nick,Kyle and Josh were very pleasant and courteous. Our home is 117 years old with a field stone foundation, we had them spray foam the inside crawl space to seal it up to provide a R factor and to block out cold air, out side they repaired old and missing mortar . they did a great job and cleaned up nicely when they were done the whole job only took them around 3 hours. Anyone with a old field stone foundation or michigan basement i would highly recommend this it seals everything up and helps insulate also it is very cost effective. Great company and crew would highly recommend them to anyone.

Amazing crew! Started with the first person we talked to.Our salesman listen to what we wanted and could afford. Went from thinking we would never afford it to having the job completed in 2 days. Sales representative (Jerry Yoder) was outstanding, very knowledgeable, professional and great to work with. Cory and his assistant did a great job of explaining what they had to do, then they did it and cleaned up after they were done. Only thing causing this company from having all 5 star rating was the communication with the office and scheduling staff. They were not on the same page.

Loved this company and everyone we came in contact with. From the owner, to the receptionist, to the laborers, everyone was super knowledgeable and kind. It was crunch time and a very small window of opportunity due to our crazy schedules. They were awesome and VERY good at what they do. They got right to work and did excellent work as well. If you need a problem solved, these are the ones to call.

The sales person I felt was just trying to make a sale and not working in my best interest. The workers ended up recommending and doing the job differently (which made more sense to me). They also tried to oversell me.

The office staff never contacted me to give me a date and time for installation of their water repelling materials. The installers did call me the night before the give me their early arrival time. The installers did a good job, were polite, and cleaned up after the installation. The sales person was polite, articulate and explained the process. The cost of the installation was excessive in relationship to the labor time and the products installed. If the materials installed will stop the water leaking into the basement from the porch is yet to be determined as we have had no heavy rail to test the former problem. tried out.

The crew foreman, Josh Case was outstanding. Floor drains were installed in my garage and driveway, and I could not more pleased with the work of Josh and his crew! As no drains existed when I purchased the home, it looks like they were always there! Excellent work!

All of the, from sales rep to installation crew, were very professional. All were very friendly with great attitudes. They wasted no time while working in dirty, cramped spaces. I was very happy with their performance. I would definately recommend this company to others.

Very friendly and very efficient

The Salesman did not know how to quote the job, He used a quote from another salesman to put his together. When the Foreman arrived, he said it would be another 8,000 for the additional beam that was not in the quote. After all was said and done, I stuck with the original quote and only had the one beam installed. I was pleased with the final outcome other then the mounds of dirt around my home that I need to shovel and move away from the foundation. If they would not have tried to get more money and just did the job as bid, I would be giving them a 4.5 star rating.

They are extremely easy to work with and they do an excellent job.

The dry wall was not replaced or repaired. The cleanup was not to good. I had 2 cracks repaired. Took about 2 1/2 hrs.

Mike, Evan and Adam were outstanding. There was very good communication regarding the process of their job and how to maintain the wall anchors they installed. It was very clear they knew what the were doing which is important to me. They cleaned up before they left, almost as if they were never there. I highly recommend Ayers.

Lack of communication between the sales group and the actual people doing the install. Raised 75% of the concrete they said they could. Then they said they were not to fill the old expansion joints. I had to copy my sales proposal for them to take back to the office. Then it took 3 weeks for them to come back to fill the joints. They filled 12 of the 17 joints. With the quality of the work I probably was lucky they did not finish. Caulk joint look like they were filled with a chizzel and toothbrush by a 6 year old. Called and talked to the owner, he said he would contact me in 3 weeks.
