Our relationship with All Star Mechanical began with Chris coming out to diagnose my AC problem. He tested the system and diagnosed it as low on refrigerant likely do to a leak. We asked to get a quote on replacing the AC and the entire HVAC system. The furnace was a 25 year old Trane. The air filter was 1in thick and struggled to blow through a non-MERV filter, and I wanted cleaner air for the health of my family, especially since wildfires aren't going away anytime soon. We also wanted a whole house humidifier to assist the Vornado units we run 24/7 in the winter. Larry presented us with a variety of options for upgrading my HVAC system, not trying to sell me a system too large and expensive for our needs or climate, then explaining how everything works and how it works together to make our home efficient, safe, clean, and comfortable. The installation team was fantastic. They were scheduled for a 2 day installation and over performed installing the entire system in one day. Matthew and the 2 Nicks were great! Within 2 hours of installing the General Aire MAC high efficiency air cleaner we noticed the air felt and smelled cleaner, inspite of the poor air advisory warning for that day. Finally Chris buttoned the system up completly by running updated thermostat wiring and relocated my thermostat so the new system is compatible with my ADT Z-Wave ADC -T2000 monitored thermostat (my request)! Throughout the entire job, Larry stayed in touch, either by email, phone, or text to make sure everything met or exceeded our expectations. They are definitely Allstars!

I canâ t say enough good things about this company! Larry, the owner, responds quickly if I have to leave a message. He works with my schedule to have someone come out to my house. Today is the second time Iâ ve used them. The first time was when it was very cold out and my furnace stopped working. Chris came out and figured out it was my circuit board. He took care of it very quickly. Thank God it was covered under my home warranty. This time was because I had a leak in the PVC piping and my air conditioning unit wasnâ t turning on. Chris figured out my unit needed a new fuse, replaced it and he fixed the leak in the PVC pipe. Very knowledgeable, professional, reasonably priced, honest and kind. Highly recommended this company for any furnace or AC issues or installation!

No one ever called back....and I contacted you a week and a half ago. Luckily, after talking to you, I called another place, and decided to go with whoever contacted me first. The other guy contacted me within 5 minutes.

He was prompt and very effective. He explained what he was doing and how he was doing it. I'm a chemist and don't know a lot about furnaces. He walked me through the entire diagnosis and repair process. He made a complex situation very easy to understand. I have a new HVAC guy.

Doing what I do best (doing research before a major purchase), I expected just another salesman trying to sell me something. Needless to say I got something more. A contractor that knows his stuff. Awesome customer service. Most of all, 150% assurance that I made the right choice. My house is warm and my water is hot. Now all I need is to call him back for central AC for the summer. A+.

Larry was a first rate HVAC contractor. He promptly answered my request for a quote, came to the house and did a thorough quote and walk through of the house, had a nice presentation, answered all our questions, installed when he said he would and gave us a reasonable quote for a new furnace. Couldn't have asked for more. I can recommend him highly, and as a former Operations/Facilities Manager, I think I know a good HVAC vendor from a bad one and I was quite impressed with him. I don't think anyone would be disappointed with his service and prices.

Larry was great. He called me right away and was at my house within a half hour, at 8:30 at night. He went right to work, figured out the problem, and got my furnace up and running again! And his price was very reasonable, especially for an after-hours call. Now I can sleep soundly. Thank, Larry!
