Description of Work: We were in need of garbage disposal replacement. After reviewing several plumbers on Angie's List that offered this service I chose to contact All Around Plumbing, LLC in Lansing, MI. I called the phone number listed and after several rings received a response of "This is Chad, leave a message". Nothing in this message indicated that I had in fact reached All Around Plumbing, LLC. so I excused the call & hung up. I then went to their website to see if there possibly was another number that I could call & there was! When the website phone number was called it was a service that apparently answers incoming calls for businesses and schedules appointments, etc. When I explained to her the name of the business and the service required she placed the line on hold and when she returned she said that All Around Plumbing, LLC. does not perform garbage disposal repairs/replacements. I explained that the company was located on Angie's List & that they listed this gargabe disposal's in their work performed. She apologized & offered to send me a list via e-mail of other plumbers in the area that could possibly assist me and when I said no, she gave me the phone number to contact the business directly and it was the same number that I had called & received a voicemail! Realizing that this "Chad" was apparently who I needed to talk to I once again called and received the voice message option. I explained the reason for my call, the services needed, gave my name & phone number and asked for a return call that day as I was unsure if this company performed services in Jackson, MI. The message was left for Chad on February 22, 2012. Today is February 25, 2012 and I still have yet to receive a return phone call from Chad or anyone associated with All Around Plumbing, LLC.

Description of Work: The end of December Around Plumbing fixed a leaky faucet in the shower.

Description of Work: I used All Around Plumbing to do some plumbing work. I had a leak in some of my plumbing and they fixed the problem.

Description of Work: I needed a new sump pump and I and I got 2 estimates, one from Michigan Plumbing and one from All Around Plumbing. Michigan Plumbing looked at the pump and agreed it needed to be replaced. I had received an estimate from All Around Plumbing by email before they even looked at my pump. Michigan Plumbing's estimate was much higher so I called All Around Plumbing. The guy I spoke with was out of town and couldn't replace my pump until 2 days later, which was fine because my basement wasn't flooding. I also got a 10% discount by being a member on Angie's List! They replaced my pump as promised, although they were about an hour late. So far the new sump pump has been working fine and I feel like I saved a lot of money.

Description of Work: We've had this plumber twice. First time, after many years of this pipe freezing and water not coming out during the coldest days in winter, finally one year that pipe burst. They re-routed the pipe 3 years ago and it has never frozen since. Second need was for clogged pipe that overflowed and flooded almost the entire basement. He came within 2 hours of the call and unclogged the pipe, replaced it, waited to watch the water flow away, and even did some clean up! We feared the worst: excavation outside, costing thousands of dollars. The charge was only $150. They are professional, explain what they're doing, and prompt.

Description of Work: Our basement flooded because the floor drain was plugged. When the water softener ran out onto the floor (as it always does) the water did not flow out (as it usually does). In addition, another major pipe was clogged from kitchen to the basement and those two events made for a basement full of water. I called the plumber on a Thursday morning before Christmas. He was at the house 4 hours later and with another staff member, they had the basement floor draining less than two hours later, AND the kitchen sink drain was functional again. All this time, and I live on the far end of his radius of service, and it only cost me $150. I was expecting $500! Usually, large companies charge you $100 to walk through the door. Not All Around.
