+ -1 moreHe was very professional. He guarantees all his work. He is very knowledgeable about everything. His sons work with him and they also are knowledgeable and do excellent work. They work great as a team! I would refer him to EVERYONE I know who needs ANY work done!

+ 13 moreHe is a family business and he and his son are knowledgeable. I was impressed with the amount of detail he provided as the job progressed. He made a mess daily when repairing or ripping out walls, flooring, etc. But every evening he picked it up and vacuumed. Which was not necessary as it was a complete remodel. Floors, ceilings, cement bricks, basement, drywall and many other things. I have used this company before. But he is true to his word. He does what he says and says what he does. I have tried several other companies in the past and I came back to DeGeer Builders and have not left. When I say several I should tell you I have tried at least 15 other local builders. If you want an honest company I would at least give this company a chance. And they do everything, from outside stuff to inside stuff.
Description of Work: I bought a fixer upper to rent out. But it ended up being more than a fixer upper... I called the company and the owner came out, he called before he came to confirm our appointment. We walked the entire house and he explained what he saw and why it should be fixed now or in the future.

Description of Work: I bought a house and had him remodel and add onto existing home. The company is local and is willing to travel. I have friends who use him and he travels to their homes in other towns and states. The man has his sons that work for him so it is a family business. They are from a small town but he does not do small town work. He is on time and answers all his phone calls or returns them really fast. He is able to do anything I have asked him to do from pouring concrete to building a home. Very nice people to have working for me. Easy to talk to and he explains everything.

+ 10 moreIt was a very good experience especially since I am a woman and needed things explained to me. He never condescended me nor did he make me feel stupid.
Description of Work: Steve and his boys came in with their bobcat and leveled the ground, then leveled the concrete, built it from the ground up including walls, electrical, plumbing, insulation, siding, roofed it, he has done our remodeling and everything for years. He is reliable and I would highly recommend this builder to anyone who is building or remodeling anything.

+ 20 moreIt went wonderful. He did exactly what he said he was going to do in the amount of time he guessed it would take.
Description of Work: Mr. DeGeer was punctual when arriving for our estimate. He is friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I knew if we hired Mr. DeGeer we would be satisfied. And we have used him ever since. We started using him in 1997. He has built us a pole barn, a covered porch, remodeled our bathrooms, kitchen, roofed our homes, did the concrete for out pole barn. There is nothing he has not done for us when it comes to construction. He built us our custome home this year and it is so beautiful. He is fully insured and explained everything in detail. He was very reaonable. He really did it all. He built the house from the ground up. From our hardwood floors to the ceramic tiles. Installing the fixtures, appliances, and everything in between.
