Restoration Tile and Grout

They were hired to repair and replace cracking grout. However, instead of using grout (even though we provided the color names), they used a caulk-like paste, saying it works better than grout. Within weeks it was cracking and peeling off. They came back 3-4 times to redo some sections with grout we provided, and those are doing OK. But other sections continue to crack and peel (sometimes like a string, especially in areas that get wet), and they refuse to do anything about it.

Guy came out and said we'd have a quote the next day. Waited a couple days and then called and left a voicemail regarding not seeing the quote. Got the quote finally. We got back to them as they didn't seem to interested in what we had, i asked them if the job was to small just to let us know and we'd move on...got no response. It's been weeks. Wouldn't recommend based on customer service and response/attitude.

I had the company over last September. They have been over twice since then to redo the work. To many people that would seem like a bad review. Truth is, when you have a supplier who has one of his techs perform substandard work twice, and comes back again to make it right, that is a good supplier. It is when things go wrong that you really find out who you are dealing with, not when they hit a home run. Everyone looks good when they hit a home run. There was never push-back. They came to look at the issue and fixed it (or attempted to do so).

Crew showed up exactly when scheduled and did a really nice job. Had one unforeseen problem, but manager Nick responded immediately, and corrected the problem without hassle or charge. That is a sign of a really good contractor. I have more work lined up for them.

Thanks for upgrading my tile floors in my kitchen and laundry room, it is a significant improvement from before. My old floor looks brand new!

These guys really went the extra mile. I originally thought I would just get my floors cleaned but when Nick came out for the estimate he took quite a bit of time to go over all my options. Through his suggestions we changed the color of the grout on my floors and made them look brand new and tied in all the colors in the kitchen. The best part: the cost was a fraction of a previous quote from another company in which they wanted to completely replace it all costing a small fortune.

Restoration Tile and Grout did an amazing job with our bathroom. Nick repaired the original tile in the bathroom and shower by patching the faulty grout. He also replaced necessary caulking, and cleaned the mildew and mold stains. After that he sealed over it so that my tiles would remain beautiful even longer. it is UNBELIEVABLE how good it looks.

I am very happy with the work done by Restoration Tile & Grout! Our original tile is over 50 years old so removing some of it was very difficult. Nick and Vince did a great job replacing the tile (we supplied the replacement tile) and our shower looks fabulous! And best of all - no more leaks!

I contacted them on June 12 to get an estimated. They came out the same day and a date was scheduled for the work for June 26. Chuck arrived promptly at 9 am. on June 26. He worked endlessly to make sure the grout was perfect. He was here until 4 pm. that day. The grout is just as I had hoped it would be. Color is perfect and he made sure it blended with the rest of the bathroom shower, toilet, etc. The shower had been recaulked before and Chuck reworked it so it looks great. He was helpful in offering his expertise too. I would definitely hire them again and ask for Chuck as the technician.

Contacted by Nick (owner) to grout and seal 1st bathroom and additional tile restoration for second bathroom on 8 Jun 18. Service Rep, Chuck arrived 12 Jun & 19 Jun (on-time) to complete the work. He was kprofessional, knowledgeable, and very thorough in completing the work. I'm extremely satisfied with how the job was completed from start to finish including the clean up. I rated responsiveness "C" because getting an apointment confirmation a day prior to the start of work for both projects was impossible.

Adam is a miracle worker! He restored the bathroom to a "looks like new" condition. I am preparing the house for sale and now this bathroom does not concern me due to its age and appearance. The tile is clean, grout repaired and cleaned - the room looks amazing. I will heartily recommend Nick and his team to others needing similar work performed on their tile and grout.
