Motor City Granite

This is our 4th project. Thanks for all your help with our projects. Very accommodating, professional, and above average customer service. Extra thanks to Joan, Randy, Frank, and staff. Highly recomended! Great company!

The counter tops look beautiful. Their install team led by Aaron were very good and friendly. The plumber, Dennis, was a great guy! The issue i have with Motor City Granite is that when i asked about reinstalling my gas cooktop i was told that they would reinstall it. After the counter tops were installed and the plumber had left, i noticed that they did not hook the vent tubing back to the gas top. As this involves cutting and snipping, i thought it would be best to call Motor City and ask when they could have their guys come back out and finish the job. I was told that it was my responsibility to hire Dennis the plumber on my own for that part. This was not what they told me. I spent a lot of money on the counter tops, and it's too bad that this was their response. I am writing this not to gripe, but to let you know to make sure you understand, in writing, what they will do and won't do. With all that being said, i would use Motor City Granite again.

Went great. A good group of people

The counter top installation was fine -- on time, counter top fits, no problems. I also ordered the under mount sink and faucet from Motor City Granite to be installed with the counter top. The sink arrived damaged -- and Charlie at Motor City Granite acknowledged that these sinks are brittle, but his crew did not check the product before it left their warehouse. And they forgot the faucet. Although there was another sink in stock 45 minutes away, Charlie informed me that they could not deliver a replacement sink until 2 days later. Two days later, the installation crew arrives with the replacement sink, but they forgot the faucet. Again. An installer dropped it off at 5 pm that day and my contractor had to stay late to hook it up. And during installation of the sink, they put two 3" long gouges in the front panel of the new dishwasher.

Everything went good as planned after picking out the two slabs of granite for our project which took about a week to make a decision . It took about two weeks for them to fabricate and install the finish product .

The company is easy to communicate with. I had contacted about 6 other companies from Angie's List by email and they were by far the most responsive.

beautiful showroom with very helpful people. Stacy was awsome. The install was a breeze and its like a whole new kitchen. Why didnt we does this years ago!?!
