HOUDEK'S PUMPING SVC

Provider said he would arrive Tuesday, but arrived Monday, a day early, which meant I was not there to show him around. He proceeded to park his truck on my septic drain field itself .. seems like he should know better. The deep tire ruts are still there, and i would not be surprised if he crushed the drain tiles. My wife had to show him where the septic tank was (since I was not there). He at first did not believe her, but when she proved to be right he said "I hate it when a woman is right." Funny. Really funny. He then proceeded to dig, making no attempt to preserve the turf, just made a big mess of the grass and left it for me .. still trying to repair it. Later, when I got the bill, I phoned him and asked why it was more than quoted. He got shirty WITH ME?!, which seems again like exactly the wrong way to behave. He explained that he did not count on us having a "big fancy house" with a bigger septic tank. I guess he thought we would be living in a shack or something. I always try to shop local, but for Houdek's Pumping I will make an exception. Never again. This guy is a clown.
