Pressell Engineering

We hired Pressell Engineering to design a retaining wall when we constructed our house back in 2003. Now here we are almost 10 years later and the retaining wall is falling down. We have had several other contractors and civil engineers look at both the physical wall and the design drawings and all agree that it is the faulty design done by Pressell Engineering that was the root cause of all the defects we are seeing now. When we first noticed the problem we called Mark Pressell and he did coume up with a new design for us once we got to the point of repairing the wall. However, all of the design defects that are included in the first design were still in the second design asuring that if we had gone with this second design we would have experienced the same problems again. Due to technicalities in the law and statute of limitations we were unable to bring litigation against Mr. Pressell for our specific problem. However, in writing this review we hope to spare someone else the pain and expense that we have had to go through fixing a problem that was a direct result of his faulty design work.
