 + -1 moreHer name is Marie Richard and I got her contact through Angie's List. I decided to hire her because I basically needed somebody to clean up my home. I was too busy with my life and just couldn't do it anymore. She is pretty professional. She is a little bit more than the going rates. The quality is pretty good.
Description of Work: I use Marie's Cleaning Service for housecleaning. She basically cleans our home. She vacuums, and she cleans the bathrooms and the kitchen.

Description of Work: I think Marie is very professional. She is punctual and/or early at all times. She is experienced and does a quality job of cleaning. She is more than willing to go above and beyond to meet my needs. I would recommend her service any time.

 + -1 moreWe called pretty much at the last minute. She was very busy and said she could not do the job. With further prodding she agreeded that she could fit some of the job in. She showed up at the agreed time with a helper. Several areas were not as throughly cleaned as I had hoped they would be. The bathroom ceiling that was sticky and dirty was not cleaned. Because she was feeling rushed I suspect it affected the quality of her work.
Description of Work: Response was very good although she said no when we originally called - she finally said she would fit it in. This job had to do with cleaning a student rental between tenants in East Lansing. We were on a tight schedule. The cleaning job was only average (did not clean some areas I expected). However, to be fair, I should say that she was very busy when we called and needed to bring extra help to fit our job in. As it turned out she was only able to do part of the job. The rushed nature of the job was probably the reason results were not quite up to the standards that I expected.

 + -1 moreHaving said that I think if I used her weekly then things would be cleaner, but she didn't have the availability. She is professional and hard working and will work with you if you want to take the time to guide her according to your preference.
Description of Work: I would say Marie is very punctual, hardworking and efficient. She brings her own supplies (cleaning stuff, vacuum cleaner, mops, brooms, brushes herself which is great).She will work with you, around the household's happenings to get her work done without coming in your way and vice versa. My only reason not to continue with her was her lack of detail to finer cleaning.I was getting my house cleaned every 2 weeks, and I felt that the durability of cleaning especially dusting, and floors was very limited, and this is when it was winters when the windows weren't open.I would have to reclean at least the main areas pretty soon after they had been cleaned by her. Also I felt that some areas especially corners would have dirt pushed into them. Having said that is just my bias towards detail. She did an ok job with bathrooms, my house is pretty new so it doesn't have a whole lot of dirt. The master toilet would be very clean, but the children's bathroom, especially the bath tub would have a layer of scum at its base, which I had pointed out for further cleaning. And thats something when I cleaned myself would come off quite well.

 + -1 moreI hired Marie to do a whole-house cleaning after I had some remodeling done. Unlike some of the other businesses I contacted, Marie came out quickly and provided a written estimate. She did such a great job, I now have her come out monthly. I've used other cleaning services before and have been generally disappointed. Marie is quick, thorough and professional yet friendly.

 + -1 moreWe heard about Marie from a co-worker. She came out and gave an estimate. I asked for floors and dusting, but she goes above and beyond and does other cleaning on a rotating basis. She has been flexible when we needed some appointments moved. Very trustworthy.
