Turned out great! They worked through poor weather conditions and went above and beyond to finish.

We had very few issues but anything we brought up were covered immediately.

Customer service was top-notch, anytime I had a question I could get it answered easily. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and made the experience enjoyable on top of it that came out exactly how I wanted it!

I had been shopping around with the intention of doing the exterior of our house myself. We just spent 2 years totally redoing the interior down to the studs. I am no spring chicken anymore, and the prospect of doing ladder work outside was not appealing to me. I had seen another house in the area that had been redone and had a Green Shield sign. I called the number on a Friday and Diego was at my door the next morning. He is very knowledgeable and we went over the entire project. He was giving me multiple options as we discussed what needed done. There was no pressure to pick a more expensive item or finish. He just matter of fact informed about wear, and maintaining each option that we were looking at. So we chose to do all new vertical siding with custom made gutters, 14 all new custom windows and a new steel entry door with steel frame and hardware. There were so many options to chose from but we didn't have to pick everything right then. We signed a permission to do the work with and option to back out for any reason and everything started moving. I forgot to add that our house is a 131 years old and if there is a perfectly squared corner some where, I haven't found it yet. A few days later the window crew called and wanted to come measure everything. They were great to be mindful of our pets not getting out the wrong door. They warned me, because every window was custom and the Pandemic going on, there might be a supply chain delay. So there was 2 delays on the project but considering what was going on with everything in the country, it wasn't all that bad. The day before our fist snowfall they called and said all the windows and doors were ready and they could be there yet that week. I asked how many days would they need and the guy said just one day 8 hours. And that's exactly what it was. The work crews were great. They hardly made any mess at all, and what they did, they cleaned everything up. They where totally professional yet easy going. I just kept thinking how long would it have taken me to do this myself. Instead I served them coffee and sandwiches for a few hours and all of my 131 year old drafty doors and windows were gone! The next delay was for the bad weather more than supply issues. Winter in Michigan isn't really the best time to reside a house. But on the fist week of temps in the high 40"s Jacob called and said we can be there First thing Monday and they were true to their word. It took several days and then the gutter guy showed up and I am a very happy camper. They even touched up and painted some of the fret work on the house and that wasn't even in the quote. The guy said the new siding trim and soffits wouldn't have looked right if not done. I'm like blown away they did that. So this is long, I know, but I just wanted to give my experience with Green Shield Home. It was a Good One and much apricated in today's environment on cons and scammers trying to rip everyone off for a cheap buck. Things don't always go as originally planed. Many different factors can cause delays But, If you don't have the skills or time and want it Done right the first time...make that call and see what they can do for you!!!

If you are looking for a good customer relation or are concerned with ever receiving call backs or up dated DO NOT call this company. Once they get your contract signed, you never hear from them unless you call them-repeatedly-and wait for them to call you back. Their so called manager, Diego, is not customer oriented. He is rude to say the least. Once the job was in progression and the workers came out (6 months later instead of 3 months) it did get better. They were so nice and did their work even in 26 inch of snow. They did not, however, do the work as we asked (another error on the office communication). But overall the deck looks good. We are having to wait until spring to have them come back and clean up the mess. Hopefully we will not have to wait too long. There were hick ups along the way that could have been avoided had the production manager, Jacob, had been doing his job and following up on the progress.. I have had two neighbors asking who did the deck as it does look good but I told them not to use this company. The stress and aggravation was not worth the job.

Price for our siding project was a better value than other estimates that we compared. Materials are of high quality with a great warranty. The crew that did our installation was very pleasant and professional, and hard working! We are very happy with the finished result. Highly recommend them and would hire them again.

The decks are exceptionally resilient to weather, kids, and pets.

Great Product, but expect a LONG wait. Read below for Details: We had Green Shield install a deck in our backyard which turned out great. High quality product with high quality materials that will last a lifetime. Yes, you will always pay more for a composite deck compared to a wood deck, but the time saved in not having to restain wood, replace rotted boards, etc makes it worth it in the long run. The only reason I am giving 4/5 stars is because I donâ t feel Green Shield was quite as transparent upfront as they could have been on the installation timeline. We signed a contract on June 9, 2022 and our initial installation estimate we were given verbally was â mid August.â After mid August came and went, I decided to reach out via email and see if I could get an update on when the installation will take place. I found out that the installation was still another 6-8 weeks out and was told by a project manager that Green Shield aims for a â 90-120 day (3-4 month) installation on all their projects.â Given this, if this is their â standardâ (which was not communicated to us up front), we probably should have been told mid September-Mid October from the get go would be a more realistic installation time frame in the original verbal estimate given. Ultimately, our deck was finally installed and completed on November 10, 2022 meaning that from date of signed contract to installation was a 5 month wait. Perhaps other customers are also waiting 5 months for installation? Given that installation took 5 months to happen, unfortunately, we will not be able to truly enjoy our deck as we had hoped till next year as the nice Summer & Fall months have came and went. So just an FYI to set realistic expectations for yourself and with Green Shield upfront given our experience if timely installation is an important consideration factor for you in choosing a decking contractor. Despite the longer wait in installation then we would have liked, the deck was installed well and looks awesome. Thank you Green Shield!

From the initial visit by the Green Shield rep, we were confident we made a good choice for Green Shield to replace our worn out wood deck. When November came and it was cold, rainy, and snowy, we wondered about getting a good job done and the quality of workmanship that would be done. The crew headed by Gary worked diligently everyday despite the yucky weather. They were considerate, polite, knowledgeable, informative and very, very nice young men. When the deck was done, we were sooooo very happy with the workmanship and the look of our ew deck. We can't tell you or say enough about how happy we are that we chose Green Shield Home LLC to replace our old deck.
