Trees were purchased in 2021 and we payed double the price to have Wedels come out and plant the trees so that it was done properly. Andy at Wedels told us the trees were guaranteed, so we felt comfortable with the purchase. Fast forward to 2022...2 of the 3 trees died. We returned to Wedels and picked out two new trees to replace the deads but when we were in the checkout line, we were told we would be charged again to have them planted. I disagreed, explaining that the reason we originally paid double was so the trees were planted in the right way and I wouldn't have to worry. They died and should be replaced and replanted. I was denied the guarantee and when I asked for my money back on the trees, they told me I would receive store credit and not my money. I can't tell you how disappointed we were because we thought this was one business we could trust and always bought our garden plants from them. We were fooled and are now forced to find another garden center.

Very well. The planning was done with every effort to meet my needs esthetically and financially. The work was done by professionals with great care and efficiency and instructions given to this inept Gardner.

We are lawn newbies, so in the two years we've owned our house, our benign neglect has been pretty h****** things. We came to Wedel's for advice, and were blown away by how knowledgeable and accommodating their staff was. Our lawn technician (I made that term up) didn't push a particular brand but listened carefully to our concerns and helped us create an action plan beginning next spring. One thing we wanted to avoid was the heavy use of pesticides and chemicals, and our technician listened to us. I can't emphasize how wonderful this feeling was, to have someone really hear you out and give their expertise without giving their own opinion. In other words, we walked away without buying much at all, but Wedel's has gained our loyalty and we'll be back in April ready to rescue our curb appeal!
