+ -1 moreJames Talcott was very accommodating both by working us into his busy schedule and then working around the installation of carpet and flooring and the schedule of movers. When problems arose he fixed them. Most importantly the work was of an excellent standard. We could not be more pleased.

Description of Work: Install a new gutter about a 3 foot section. Sealed the slider and a basement window. Replaced a section of siding. Replaced a section of saffic. Secured some siding that came loose.

Description of Work: Very attentive at the beginning but then nothing. He went on vacation without giving us an estimate and then when we called to follow up, he emailed it but the estimate was very high and the time frame was not in line with what we needed/asked for. I don't think he had time for the job which is fine but he should have been professional enough to respond in a honest and timely matter.

+ -1 moreJim was very professional and came up with creative solutions to challenges presented by our home. He has an eye for detail and everything turned out great. We used him primarily for carpentry work. He was honest, fair, and we trusted him enough to work while we were away from home.

+ 0 moreThe time frame for completion of work was fine. JIm made sure the plumbers came on time and even dealt with the company laying the flooring so we did not have to.
Description of Work: Removed wallpaper from walls, repaired and painted walls. Moved light fixture to center over the sink and installed light fixture. Also painted door, bought and painted trim and made sure sink was securely attached to cabinets (which the plumbers failed to do). He also hung all the new towel rods and toilet paper dispenser.

He removed his shoes while in the house and laid down a tarp so as not to damage the floor and to collect any debris from the work. He is very personable. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Description of Work: Jim came and put in a vent in a cabinet near my refrigerator. He agreed to come to my home even though it was a pretty small job.

+ 5 moreJim gave me an itemized estimate for each separate job and performed the work for the estimated price. He came when scheduled and did excellent work. All was done to my complete satisfaction. He is very professional and reliable.
Description of Work: Jim Talcott did several repair jobs to the exterior of my home (fixed/replaced wood trim, painting), pressure washed patio and siding, and installed snow melt cables in the eaves and downspouts on the porch.
