It's never a fun time when you finally realize you have to get a new roof. There are a lot of other things we wanted to do this summer believe me. I also didn't want water running down my back when I was doing the dishes, so it was time to make the call. I did the research and spoke with several area contractors of which some were good and some I didn't feel should even be up on my roof at all. Then I met Justin from Sherriff-Goslin, he was very informed and told me what he would do for us and more importantly what we needed to do to make it right. He was the only contractor that even mentioned that we really needed to rip off the old ones and re-board the whole thing to make sure it lasts. Everyone else wanted to put shingles right over the top which is obviously easier and would have been cheaper but that's not what we wanted. We were looking for good service and something that is going to last, and I feel like that's what we got. Justin also put on a shingle that no one else has and comes with a really good warranty that will last longer then we will probably live here, and I apologize the name escapes me but it's "Art" something. The good news is we got a great roof and great service and the best part is they financed the whole thing for 4% interest! Now we can still go on vacation in July! If you are in the market or in need of anything roof related give Justin a call, you won't be sorry.

The experience went very well. They did what they said they would do. The cost was reasonable. The staff were very good. This was last year. I don't recall the price. I recall it was reasonable. I was happy with the work they did.

Sherriff-Goslin Co. was excellent. They cleaned up pretty well. They were quick, on time and they cleaned after themselves. I could really trust them to do the job. The foreman as fantastic. He did a good work. They were polite. They were good guys. They're a pleasure to watch and work with because they're very efficient and they know how to get the job done. They also had a good reputation.

We got three estimates and they were not the lowest but had the best recomendations. They even came back because after the three roofs were removed, the roof was now about an inch below the cable siding on the gable. Sparrows were trying to get in to that space to build a nest. They created a step flashing to block off that gap and it looks great and keeps out the birds.No extra charge.

The man listened to my concerns. He checked the roof. Found the source of the leak above the garage. It was due to someone removing an old tv antenna guy wire hook years ago. He sealed up the hole. He said my roof is still good for 2-3 years and doesn't need anything now. How honest! I will call Sherriff-Goslin in 2-3 years when I really do need a new roof.

From the estiment to the finished roof they were professional and on time the work was done in 1 day for the most part and was cleaned up promptly.

We worked with Ed again and were well pleased with everything. from the repairs to the shingleing the job was done very professionly.

I cannot say enough good things about these guys. From the estimate to the time of completion they did a great job. They were quick, tidy, and efficient. Even after a freak thunderstorm, A little water got in over the laundry room ceiling. they got it dried out repainted and I made my vacation. Awesome.

I called on a Friday and Rick came to my house Saturday. A few hours late, he was back with three estimates for different quality of shingles! His highest quote, for the best quality was a couple thousand less than a quote I had received from the company who put siding on my house a few years ago. Less than a week later, I got a call from Rick saying the shingles were in and could they put them on the following day! I was out of town so we postponed it for another week. The crew arrived on schedule and by the next afternoon, the job was done. Rick made a follow-up visit a few days later to make sure I was happy with the job. And I was! Great service! I would highly recommend Sherriff-Goslin!

Greg was very prompt coming over for the estimate and very prompt getting the estimate to me. I have a 25ft x 55ft modular home. The estimate was giving to me April 9th and the work was scheduled for the 24th. Three guys showed up, got to work, were very pleasant, got it done in one day, cleaned up and were gone. Very professional. Thank You.

It was excellent. They have a proprietary shingle which they use, and its longevity is amazing. The roof is doing quite well nearly 15 years later.

She was real pleased. They were there and gave her an estimate; then they were there the next day and had it done the next day. They picked up everything and were great, she said. When she told us the price we thought it was legitimate. She will use them again in the future.

Upon calling Sheriff Goslin to request an estimate my call was immediately picked up by someone who was capable of providing the requested quote. He scheduled an appointment and within hours was at my property doing a thorough review of the damage and what it would take to fix the roof and gutter correctly. It took approximately a week for the shingle shipment to come in, but the next day on which the weather permitted the crew came out to the house and took care of everything. They did everything as requested and actually remedied some slightly subpar work done by another local contractor a couple years prior. They also did a fairly thorough job of cleanup as I was only able to find a couple small scraps of material. Other than that and the new roof/gutter there were no other signs that they had been there. They may run slightly higher in terms of pricing, but the professionalism, history, and the fact that they stand behind their work more than makes up for it. Highly recommended.

It took them 3 days to do it. The quality of the work was fine, but once you sign a contract with them they will do things their way. They are not the most courteous people in the world, but they got the job done. The work was done right. I probably will not use them again in the future.

They were very good, we still have the roof. I have so far had no problem with the roof and its faired well. They were very good they took care of the clean up and all that. They were very good but I feel they were a little expensive. I have a rather small house and it cost about $5000 to put the roof. I have heard that these days' roofs can go as far as $8000. They were good roofers and they did a nice job. They came did the job, cleaned up and took care of everything. They were so good that they brought in a crew and they put the roof on in two days. I would like to use them again but it depends on the cost. I would go to them first though.

my only concern was it took longer to get the estimate than I expected. I believe the estimator actually missed the first 2 appointments. the actual roof work took <1 day and was excellent. 4/22/2011 I received a call today from "J" the estimator who handled my job, less than 24 hours after I completed this report. He apologized if He didn't respond to my expectations on this job over a year ago. I'm impressed with their response and how closely that pay attention to Angies List. As I had previously said, they will continue to get my business.

They came on time, finished all work in 1.5 days, cleaned up beautifully, did cheerfully a few extra requests we demanded. A great job with excellent guarantees.

I would not waste my time calling Sheriff Goslin again.

The crew arrived early in the morning, worked efficiently, and did a great job with the clean up. Our roof is tricky and the previous roof leaked. The new roof has not leaked and looks great. Good customer service, as well.

They were very good and very conscientious. I had them return several times to take care of several little things that I thought should be done. They agreed and took care of them.

Quote was outrageously high. We decided to go with another contractor after quote came in 60% or $3,600 more than the contractor who won the bid. It should be noted that the specifications of materials to be used were the same.
