 + -1 moreOverall, the entire job went very smooth (from my point of view). Randy had a few more headaches than I did. Randy kept on top of the subcontractors in a very polite and professional manner. He has used many of the subs in the past and had a very good relationship with them. That being said, he still got bids for all the jobs to make sure I was getting the best price. If one of his "normal" subcontractor's bid was high, he was not afraid to use the subcontractor with he lower bid (provided the "new" subcontractor had a good reputation). When the house was done, it was beautiful. I was able to sell the house before it was complete. Randy met with the buyer during the finishing stage of the house. With the buyer, Randy and myself involved in the final stages of the house, everything still went very smooth. Randy again did a great job of tracking expenses of any up charges the buyer wanted. I would make sure you have a house plan you are happy with. There are always going to be problems along the way but, Randy has a lot of knowledge and is very helpful. Make sure you communicate any feelings, thoughts or concerns you are having with Randy. The more he knows, the better job he can do. Dos and don'ts.... Do use Randy if you need a contractor to build a house. Don'ts...Do not use another contractor. I will use Randy again.
Description of Work: I used Randy as a building Contractor for the construction of a home I built to sell. I have used other contractors in the past and Randy is by far the best contractor I have ever used. He is very knowledgeable, personable and provided great insight. He was at the house everyday to check on the process, the quality and made sure the subcontractors were on the job when they were suppose to be there. When problems came up, Randy would always call, explain the issue and give me options and his opinion for a solution. If I wanted to make a change, he explained all the pros and cons. He explained the price difference of changes I was thinking about and gave me his expert opinion. He would also tell me if he thought there may be future problems if I made certain changes. The other thing I loved about Randy is that he was not afraid to get his hands dirty. If something needed to get done, there were many times he jumped right in to get it done. He did not waste time and money just waiting around for someone else to come, He did a fantastic job of keeping track of expenses. In fact, I finished on time and under budget.

Description of Work: Built from custom drawing our entire home. 2,004 sq ft. Completed to move in. Did not include landscaping.

 + -1 moreWe hand 3 bids, Randy was in the middle. We took the bid, and had him do the work. He worked the project from start to finish, and kept us informed on a daily, weekly, basis. I have no complaints.
Description of Work: Randy, was the contractor who built our 2,000 sq foot home, Working with him , we had a very good experience. I recommend him to anyone.
