The job went perfectly. Terry was great, prompt, professional, and easy to work with. My lake house is a gardeners dream with a HUGE flower garden. and planting beds all around the house. It had been neglected for 3 years and required major renovation work. We worked with Terry and developed a two stage plan. All or the major weeding, trimming and removals were performed last fall, and the renovation work this spring. Terry has a very dedicated and hard working crew which performed the work, I am extremely pleased with the outcome.

Terry provided a quote via email a few days after I called her and she stopped by to assess our egress window. She also suggested adding gravel for better drainage with the wood (which we didn't have prior). The work was almost fully done in two days with their team of two working on it. The third day they finished their clean up of the site. They asked a lot of questions (we had problems with our egress draining when it rained) and provided solutions to improve drainage in addition to just replacing the wood wall, which had rotted over time. They added the gravel, cleaned the drain, and caulked around the window area. They also found a hole in the side of the drain that was allowing rocks to flow into it, also impairing proper drainage. Bottom line: this is a quality company. This is our second experience with them and they are thoughtful, hard working, diligent and don't do anything without the owners approval. They also leave the site immaculate when they finish.

They came on time and started working on cutting back and pruning large burning bush 6 feet. Work done was very professionally and they cleaned up all the branches & foliage as they went; which was great. Straightening and staking the Rose of Sharon tree was also done in a very professional manner . Workers are very knowledgeable on landscape and gave some good advice for future landscaping. I used them last season for fall cleanup and was very satisfied, so, I called again for the work I needed done this year. Will definitely use again for future projects..

Terry was very busy and could not come out to do the work so I went ahead with someone else. But she was very good with suggestions and even told me to go ahead with someone else as she couldn't come out till mid June.

The owner was very nice. She was prompt and explained what to do.

We rescheduled twice due to weather before they could come. The work turned out just fine that they did. The pricing seemed high for the work provided so far. We did have some questions and are hoping to have them back out in the spring. Update - now that Spring has arrived, we have not received any additional communication. A follow-up message sent through Angie's List to inquire if we can expect the remainder of time purchased has not yet been returned.

I was given an explanation as to what, I was to expect. I was allowed a generous amount of time, to explain what I wanted done. Some things that I had over looked, were pointed out to me and they were spot on. These very polite, hard working gentlemen "went to town" on that area. I was amazed at how much they accomplished, in the time I had limited them to? I believe they went a little into their lunch to finish up. When they were done, I had an area fresh for spring planting. I can now see the "pond" and I am pleased, they found rocks to place around it. I am disabled and they made everything beautifully accessible. I cannot say enough positive things, about my experience with this company. I plan on using them again, this spring. It is wonderful to just pay to have it done, rather than making excuses, year after year! 2014 will bring a renewed enjoyment of my yard, thanks to the good people at Kalamazoo Garden Design and Maintenance LLC. I can't speak about the quality of the gardening services but this company's truck cut me off intentionally and almost rammed into me even though I had signaled to change lanes with plenty of advanced notice and plenty of space in front of truck so it wasn't like he didn't see me. He saw me changing lanes and intentionally sped up to block me. I honked and the jerk just sped off. Anyone who is that rude and reckless would make me question how professional they are in the services they offer. If I had the license plate I would report them to the police, but only caught the company's website printed on the back of the truck.

The workers arrived on time and asked what I wanted done. They worked cleanly and put the debris where I had indicated. I was a little disappointed that they left without any notice to me, since they weren't able to finish all the work we had discussed in the time allotted. However, their work was of good quality and I would use their services again.

I was very pleased with them. They worked hard and I was there working with them. They did very well, there were 2 guys, both very courteous, they were not able to finish the job in the allotted time but that was not because they weren't working hard. I think they didn't even took a break, I served them some lemonade at one point and insisted that they drink something but we made arrangements for them to come back and finish the job and I paid for the time they took to finish it and I was very pleased with all the things they did for me. I asked them to take the bushes down 2 feet and that's not easy to do when they're already 10 to 12 feet tall. Right now the bushes, there are like twigs sticking out in the middle and it looks very strange but I think it's because they took it down further than I've ever tried to before. They did make every effort to schedule the work when I could be here which wasn't necessary but I prefer it that way. They didn't come out and see the job in the beginning, I described it to them but as I say I was here both times and they worked very hard. I had some professional service do it last year and it was about equivalent on what I am paying this time. If I was paying them full price, it would probably be more. There was nothing I could complain about.

They appt was easy to make and they were very accommodating when I had reschedule. The two workers showed up on time and were pleasant and did a very good job cleaning up the yard and disposing of debris. They also some excellent advice on staking one of my ornamental trees and future plantings. I would highly recommend Kalamazoo Garden Design & Maintenance and will definitely use in the future.

The service turned out well. It was an extremely humid day and they worked very hard. They came two times and one day was very humid and the other was very hot. I have no complaints, I thought they did a very good job.

They were spectacular! We had them do a lot of maintenance stuff, including pulling weeds. They were prompt and professional.

The workers worked! Very courteous, responsive to our last minute changes. Had the courtesy of asking permission before doing anything that might be disruptive, such as driving on the lawn, parking a trailer in driveway, etc. The owner/designer had excellent recommendations, reasons why, or why not, a certain plant might go where. Her design was very pleasing. Not only will we hire her again, we are already trying.

They do a good job. They come on time. They check with you while they are working to make sure that everything is being done according to your specifications.

They let us know when they will come, they show up on time. They have good ideas on what to do for the yard and also very open to my wishes and ideas. The workers are easy to deal with and they do what they say they are going to do.

She was very careful and did very well with the transfer. Her price was very reasonable.
