Description of Work: I had two broken casement window panes and two casement windows with a broken seal between the double pane glass leading to condensation between the panes obscuring the view. I have wood casement windows. I received a quote for replacing the 4 separate window panes and decided to proceed. Obtaining the quotation was very easy and the representative was punctual and professional. The window panes were ordered and installation was scheduled. Two installers arrived with only 3 of the 4 Windows. Of the 3 they did install, they cracked the glass of one during installation. The also scratched/gouged the wood of the window frame surrounding that pane. They also damaged another window frame by chipping off a large chunk of wood from the top of the window which I will now have to glue back in place and patch and paint. I have scheduled a time for the installers to return with the missing window pane they didn't bring the first time and to replace the window pane they broke during installation. I am not at all impressed with the quality of the installation. I did not directly observe the installation process but saw the cracked glass after they were through and pointed it out to the installers. I did not notice the large chunk of wood missing from the top of the other window until after the installers had departed. I called and informed the company. I think the installers should have noticed both mistakes and pointed them out to me and not the other way around. Since the job has not been completed yet no money has been paid. I'm hopeful that the remaining installation will go smoothly and I can put this experience behind me.

+ -1 moreI have used J&J many times in the past and they have always done a nice job. This one consisted of replacing several pieces of curved glass in our greenhouse. They came out and provided an estimate of the cost, and installed the glass very professionally. I would definitely use them again in the future.

+ -1 moreI brought the screens in, they made the measurements and I came back within a week to pick up the finished product. Also they were willing to help me with a replacement window that has broken parts when the company that installed the windows, Howe, was very unhelpful when I called them.
Description of Work: J&J has made 4 storm windows for me using the screens I brought into their shop. It was $70 for the last window which was on the larger size. They built the storms within a week and they are very well constructed. I have a ranch with some casement windows and the storms made my living room more comfortable.
