Wayne came out one day after being called (he would have done same day but it didnt fit my schedule) was promptly on time, excellent communication, and excellent pricing to work with my budget. I would recommend and will recommend him to anyone who needs any HVAC services. Call Wayne and have your problem fixed promptly without having to pay huge fees the big companies charge.

Wayne has been very valuable for our peace of mind, the last several years! Very easy to contact, always responds quickly. Our older system has needed some attention, gets fixed quickly and reasonably. He quoted for a new system, was detailed and priced well, according to those we shared with. We remodeled our kitchen and wanted to remove our chimney. Wayne from Custom Heating and Cooling replaced our furnace and hot water heater with direct vents so that we were able to remove the chimney. Wayne also found a small leak in our a/c unit which he serviced and will assist us when it is time to replace. We asked him to stop by today to run the furnace to confirm that the heat functions properly since it was so hot the day it was installed. Wayne did not charge us for stopping by today just to check on things. I HIGHLY recommend Custom Heating and Cooling and will be a loyal customer.

My jobs were all done on time and on budget. The service went smoothly and all repairs were completed as required. My water heater replacement cost was approx $800, and my A/C unit replacement was slightly below $2,500 (includes coolant replacement).

On Thursday, 1/13/2011, we realized our furnace was not working right. My husband thought it was the blower motor, so to be safe he turned it off. He tinkered with it and the idea of fixing it himself for the next couple of days. By Saturday, we realized we needed professional help! We got Wayne's name and phone number from a neighbor who recently had to install a new furnace and was very happy with "her furnace guy." (His estimate was less than half of E.M. Sergeant!) We called Wayne on Monday, 1/17/2011 (the MLK holiday) and he was at our house in a little over 3 hours. He quickly showed us that not only was our blower motor out, but the main part was also bad, and dangerous. He found a gas leak also and told us that, had my husband not turned the furnace off, we would have had an explosion and house fire! He told us a new furnace like the one we had would be about $1200.00, and a 95% high efficiency would be $1860.00. He told us about rebates and tax credits on the later. We opted for the high efficiency model. Wyane came back on Wednesday, 1/19/2011, one hour earlier than promised (8:30 AM). His son also came to help that day. They quickly removed the old furnace (and hauled it away), and got right to work installing the new one. The job was finished by 3:00-3:30 PM. Our final bill was actually only $1800.00 because Wayne saw some free weights in our basement and bartered for them. (He likes to barter!) After he left, the furnace stopped and we called Wayne back. He was back in 15 minutes. Turns out it was our programable thermostat that was set wrong. Wayne fixed that and reattached it for us, at no charge. All in all, we love our new furnace and we were extremely pleased with Wayne's work. He is prompt, efficient, honest, friendly and professional. We will absolutely recommend him to our friends and family, and would use him again in a heartbeat.
