BUILDING RESTORATION INC

The owner, Blair Bates, has no problem lying to his customers. He intentionally misrepresented a specific product that was spec'd out for the project and then used an inferior product without notifying me. I found out about this only after talking to the supplier of the product that was suppose to be used! So he charged for the high price product and used the cheap imitation. He also did unauthorized work and then sued me for non-payment, even though we has a signed contract that specifically stated that any changes/additions/deletions would require a signed "change of scope" work form. Finally, during the project we had him quote on additional work (before we found out about his lying problem), we elected to award that job to a different contractor so he called the health department and told them we were disturbing asbestos! This shut the business down for 24 hours until we could have a testing company do testing to prove there was no asbestos. Stay away from this guy, he's scum!
