promise to call me back and i'm still waiting. called and left another message, never heard back. update, he did call and explained why there was a delay; there is no overall grade of N/A so will go with a C.

Jim did a wonderful job. Prompt and accurate initial meeting and quote. Clear and accurate estimate of when he could do the work. Work was on time. Clear communication via phone. Friendly service and hardwork by Jim and his partner. Jim even recommended new LED options that were less for labor and would last longer. Would absolutely recommend them and would use them for future projects.

Beacon was kind enough to come to our home to advise that the work was not done by them and was by someone else. They were professional, polite, and courteous. We would call them for future work.

Provider would not respond to messages and did not seem to want to perform work. Perhaps my service request was too simple (replace breaker) and not worth their time?

They installed the light switch and the outlet.

Work was performed well, professional interaction, work completed in a timely manner.

They were great! It took a couple of weeks before they could come because they are so busy (and my jobs weren't emergencies), but at the appointed date, they showed up right on time and completed everything in 1-1/2 hours. Very knowledgeable, polite and professional.

Jim and Robert are both good guys. They answered any and all questions I had.

All work was done as promised in a very professional manner.

Jim definitely earned his A rating. He offers quality work at a very fair price. He took the time to go over my project(s) and offered many suggestions to make things easier/cheaper. I'm in the process of remodeling, doing much of the work on my own, and Jim has been very flexible with scheduling various components of the install. Reading the other reviews, you can see that Jim tends to stay very busy and sometimes it can take an extra day or two to get the work completed. I believe this speaks to the quality and value of Jim's work. I will be contacting Jim in the future for my electrical needs.

Jim was very informative when gave us the estimate. He toured our desired projects unhurried and gave us ideas how to do other projects which we followed successfully. He and his assistant did an excellent job and cleaned up afterwards. They were very polite and a pleasure to work with.

I called on a Wednesday before a holiday weekend so was understanding if there would be a delay in hearing back. But when the following Tuesday came and I hadn't gotten a call, I called again and actually got James on the phone. He said he was very busy and backed up - again, totally understandable. He then said he could try to fit me in that Wednesday or Thursday - no appointment was set however. He did not show up at all and I never heard back from him. I called a competitor, got an appointment on for the next day. I completely understand being busy and having a full schedule, but a job should be declined if you don't have the time. Further saying you may be able to show up one of two days is just not professional and not calling back to apologize and possible schedule an actual appointment is inexcusable. From the reviews, it seems like the work is great. Unfortunately, I just can't say that about the communication or the ability to schedule an appointment.

Beacon responded quickly with a phone call and was able to correct the issue as best as he could within the first visit. Scheduled an additional visit to completely correct the issue, and provided an estimate of additional work that needs to be done. Will be scheduling this to complete the wiring issues. Very friendly and dependable, I highly recommend Beacon

It went very very well. He checked the outlets and told me that there wasn't a problem with them. They were new outlets and he explained what I thought was a problem wasn't. He educated me and was kind and understanding. He didn't try to fix a problem that wasn't there in order to make a profit. I appreciate his honesty. He didn't charge me either. He will be the first person I call if I ever need electrical work done again. Will also recommend him to friends and family. #grateful

Beacon did an excellent job. First, as we planned the job in our old farm house, Jim (Beacon's owner) explained to me what he could and couldn't do in light of the building code. That was informative. Second, he solved all but one problem that we presented, which he had suspected he might not be able to solve when he first visited to estimate the job; he accomplished, therefore, as much as he could. He and his assistant spent three hours in the house, working steadily throughout. They cleaned up completely when they finished. His final bill matched his estimate for the job. Jim called me afterward to make sure everything was working as planned and repaired.

It was an excellent. I found them on Angie's list. They did what they said they were going to do. They look clean. They were on time and they were just really friendly. It was a wonderful experience. It did not get other bids but I would assume it is in keeping with others.

Jim was on time and very helpful. He did his work in a neat fashion and was helpful in finding ways to keep it affordable. Helped me figure out how to do some things myself. Good quality work, very affordable and extremely helpful.

I called in the morning and my problems were taken care of by late afternoon. Excellent service, very helpfull with a great attitude. I will call Beacon Electric for all of my electrical needs. Thank you Beacon Electric!!!

I like the local personnel on the company. He wasn't coming in to tell me to put money in anything I didn't need to.

Jim was there very promptly and spent two days doing the work. He was very thorough and neat and explained how everything worked when completed. Jim was very personable and friendly and easy to talk with. He called us a few days later to check on us to see that we were happy and asked if we had any questions. He also stuck with his quotes. Would definitely hire him again for any future electrical work.

The gentleman was prompt and he was good about following up. There was a time he couldn't come out but he made it a point to call us.

Jim replaced the outlet and explained to my husband in detail what the problem was as he worked. It was a quick, effective repair. We will definitely call Jim again.

He was the ultimate professional. He and everyone who worked for him was a good, honest, hard-working person. They were kind and had integrity. Jim gave us a bid. The job took weeks longer than he had estimated and he still honored the price he quoted. Having him work on our house was like having beloved a family member there to take care of us. Frankly, my whole family, both husband and my side were in and out working on the cottage and he rolled with it and was an amazing human being and professional. Don't consider anyone else without checking with Jim. We are running electrical in our basement this summer and will be hiring him to do that new area!

Work was done in a professional manner and in a timely fashion. They cleaned their work area when they were done with days work. I appreciated that they made sure I had a functioning light in the kitchen while I was waiting for cabinets to be installed by another contractor. I will definitely use Beacon in the future.
