Beach's Drywall

He called and set up a time to look at job. He never showed up and never called.

These are the guys to call if you want an excellent job. They are punctual, fast, professional and do an excellent job. We couldn't ask for more.

The job went very well. Fred was here when he said he would be here. He was responsive when I called with questions. He was professional and courteous. There was even a challenge getting the drywall in the basement that he helped worked through. I would hire him again and recommend to a friend.

Fred Beach came over promptly - gave us an estimate that night - returned to do the work when he said he would. The price was fair - not cheap - not expensive -- because he did a very professional job - and we would definitely use this company again !

Fred came out and gave us a quote for $1500 to drywall our living room and dining room. There was wood paneling that needed to be taken down, so my husband did that and found that there was drywall underneath of it. My husband called Fred to see if he could just finish the drywall that was there and he said he wouldn't. We would either need to drywall over it or remove it all together. Either way, we scheduled Fred to start Monday, March 18 at 9 a.m. My husband called Fred the day before to confirm and Fred didn't seem to know what my husband was talking about. My husband refreshed his memory, and Fred said he would try to get the material and be there. By 10:30 monday morning, we still had not heard or seen Fred. My husband called him and he said he wasn't going to get to us until Wednesday, and he wouldn't be able to finish the drywall until the following week because we had just made our decision the day before on what we were going to do. In reality, it didn't matter to him if we were going to go over the existing drywall or demo it. He would still need to hang and finish new. Our decision was not a determinate for him starting the job on that Monday. When I spoke with Fred, I told him that the delay was not acceptable, and he told me that we were more than welcome to find a new drywaller. So we did, and paid a third of the price and the men did a fantastic job, and came when they said they were going to.

I was very impressed with the drywall hanging crew. They were very quick (hung everything in one day) and cleaned up very well after themselves. The finishing (tape, mud, sand, etc) of the drywall took much longer, only because that is the nature of the beast. The finish crew was very fast at their work (1-2hrs per day), but you have to allow time for everything to dry before they apply the next coat. The finish portion took ~5 days to complete. Once the finish crew was done, they cleaned up very well after themselves. Fred Beach made it very clear that if I found any defect or something that I wasn't happy with, to let him know right away and he'd be out to fix it. In all honesty, their finish work was beautiful and I found no flaws in their work. If I ever have drywall work in the future, Fred Beach will be contracted for the work. Side Note: When I first talked with Fred, my first impression was he seems a little disorganized, but after meeting and working with him, that is not the case at all. He was very organized and everytime, he was there when he said he would be there. He is very proud and passionate about their quality of work and making sure his customers are satisfied.

I found Beach's Drywall to be very efficient and professional. Since they were juggling several jobs they always discussed the times they would like to be there so they could accommodate my schedule as best as possible. They were always friendly and couteous while providing me with a beautiful kitchen wall and ceiling
