Quote had mistakes on it and I had to call them back, For instance the quote said "non wifi" thermostat when we had talked about a wifi one. When I called them they said it was a mistake and it should have said wifi. Price looked really good but they did not provide the size of the unit in the quote. When I asked them it turned out to be a much smaller furnace than any of the other companies were quoting me,

Showed up right on time. Within a few minutes was able to diagnose the issue and resolve the issue within 30-45 minutes. Was courteous and professional. Gave me tips on how I could avoid the failure of the A/C unit by performing some routine maintenance myself. Would easily recommend this company to everyone and would certainly call them again in case of an issue.

Went very smooth. Small hick-up in communications, but that was resolved quickly. Provider was very nice and professional. Came back for a followup visit afterwards to ensure I was happy with install. Cost a little more than other providers, but everything was done right the first time, quickly, and professionally. Would recommend.

The serviceman was curious and professional. He explained everything he was doing and gave me suggestions on things I could do myself for preventative maintenance. I will definitely call them again in the fall for my furnace maintenance.

Service tech arrived right at 9am, at the beginning of their time window, and was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. Tech went right to work and opened up the unit to find a mouse had shorted out the capacitor and was able to replace the wiring and check the refrigerant systems within 20 minutes. Simple fix, but very fast and pleasant experience.

The whole team arrived and worked for two days until it was done. They were very professional, and tailored the job to my unique situation. They even did extra work that wasn't in the contract "just because it needed to be done" and did not charge any extra. This is the most wonderful team of people. They have honesty, integrity and great personalities. I would recommend this team to everyone!

Have used them for approx. 15 years and have always been very satisfied. They also perform my AC maintenance. Can't give accurate price as I pay yearly for both heat and AC.

The biggest problem was the two OEM motors both came in defective and were out-of-box failures. We paid for one of these multiple visits but after the second motor failed, the tech had to pull it out fo the AC and leave us with our original motor which was meant to be a temporary fix. Have not heard back from Bartholomew.

The technician, Jason, arrived promptly and was very pleasant and professional. He didn't balk at all at having to go down into our Michigan basement AND up into our hard-to-get-to attic. He was thorough and showed me what he was doing and had suggestions on how to improve a musty smell that we get sometimes from the basement AC unit. He also suggested a home energy audit when he saw our poor insulation in the attic. I felt that he was truly trying to be helpful and not just sell us something we didn't need. We have a very old house and our consumers bills are outrageous. I felt that Jason went above and beyond by adjusting the air flow on the units to give us the best efficiency. He said that it really should have been done when they were installed. I will be using Bartholomew for all of our AC and furnace maintenance and care- they are professional, knowledgeable and honest.

The audit was very thorough and gave a very detailed report of what energy savings we could do. They were very good.

The quote given was higher than the rest of the quotes I received...but I know I will not have a problem with this system. It took ~ 5 hours to install the system and when they left...I couldn't even till they were here! They really did a great job!! The warrenty is also the best.

They installed our furnace and air conditioning unit. They service our units. They are a family owned and local company. They are wonderful people. They are all very honest. They always give me truthful estimates. They are here on time and have someone on call twenty four seven. They clean up after themselves.

The services I received from Bartholomew Heating & Cooling Inc. worked out really well. They were very good. We've done other business with them since then, including getting our air conditioner cleaned. They did a good, thorough job. They had to come back for something because something didn't work right, but I don't think that had anything to do with the first job they came for. I think it was because of something different.

Great. We are new customers of this company, very satisfied with all aspects of the experience. They remedied a condensation problem and addressed a coolant need. Serviceman was very polite, professional, and showed up for the appointment on time.

Sorry it took me so long to write this and the date of service is approximate. Having said that, I've been looking for a good Heating and Cooling company for a couple years now. I saw good reviews on Angies List for Bartholomew and a co-worker also gave them high marks. The company I had been using for 25 years that gave me good service changed owners a couple years back and the first experience I had with the new owner didn't go well. They botched a job installing my pool heater and wouldn't stand behind their work. The heater still didn't work and it cost me hundreds of dollars for the botched job. Long story but it was close to becoming a boat anchor. I didn't use the heater for a couple years and then I called Bartholomew this Spring. The woman that answered the phone said the Service Technician coming out is named Thad. I later found he is the owner and Grandson of the founder. The woman that set up the appointment was family also. I apologize for not being to remember her name. She was very pleasant, but professional. Anyway, Thad arrived on time. He did the normal gas pressure checks, dismantled many components and cleaned them. Thad lite the pilot. Everything appeared to check out, but we couldn't fire up the heater at this time because the pool pump needed to be running and the pool wasn't open yet. Thad told me that when I have toe pool open, turn on the heater and if problems, give them a call. Well, when I got the pool operational, I turned on the heater and nothing. I called Bartholomew and arranged for Thad to check it out now that the pool is up and running. Thad arrived at the house just prior to one of the worse thunderstorms I remember here. He dismantled the heater just before the storm cut loose. He sat in the stones and the mud and kept at it, He didn't show any attitude and shrugged it off. He said, hey, just part of the job. I was so impressed, I ran in the house and grabbed an umbrella. I held it over him best I could until he finished (he found and replaced a bad pilot generator). I don't think my umbrella effort did much good. He was soaked when he finished, but he did finish and the heater was running. I am happy. Two things happened. I got my heater fixed (which I almost gave up on) and I found a new Heating and Cooling company. I have been working in Industrial Maintenance for 30 years and I've known many mechanics and technicians in many fields. Bartholomew impressed me. I don't impress too easily. Good local family business. Call them. You won't be sorry..

They were okay. I thought they were little expensive. They didn’t do anything wrong. Some other guys came and explained more options but these guys didn’t and they tried to sell me the top of the line. They were quick and came out the next day.

It was all done in relations with the consumers credit thing, they gave me credit for doing it, so it probably cost me $50 and I think I got $50 back on the furnace and I am waiting on a $50, so I got a $100 worth of rebate on it. Even if it were a $150, it would not be too bad because I was paying $100 for one tune-up before so even with $150, I saved a few bucks but with consumer credit, it saved me even more. They were prompt. They came when they said they were going to come. They did a thorough job and mailed me back a follow up card with some suggestions and with info on what we talked about. So they were right on the money; did a good job.

The guys from Bartholomew Heating & Cooling were very good. They were right on time. The AC worked better when they left.

All services were performed professionally and even found and fixed an additional vent problem during the service.

The price was fair and they were on time.

The initial phone call was a little hard but it was early new years day after all. Tech was courteous and in a good mood! Work went well and for a holiday price was good.
