+ 1 moreThe quote process went great with Amos with him giving me lots of options and me asking lots of questions. I was told up front that the excavator would show up on either a Monday or Wednesday and the pour crew would come one or two days later. I had to call several times to reschedule to work around a trip we were taking but did not have firm plans for. (5 week trip) Noble worked very nicely with me through this. The excavator came on a Wednesday at 8:00am. When they left at 10:30am, my old stuff was all gone and the forms were all in. The pour crew came on Thursday at 12:30pm and when they left at 3:30pm, all concrete was in, the forms were all gone, and my yard was back to normal except for needing top soil along the edges and grass seed which I finished on Saturday. The saw cut guy came Friday about 10:00am and we discussed several possible patterns before settling on large diamonds which was one of his recommendations. He then laid-out several rows with chalk line so I could see what he meant. When he left at about 1:00pm, he had swept the entire driveway and had blown with a leaf blower a little bit. He suggested I hose it all down latter to clean without "dusting" the entire neighborhood, which I did. It looks great. On Monday, I received a call from Noble's office offering to send someone out to neaten up my yard if I wanted them to. I thanked them but said I was all set.
Description of Work: Noble removed a 29 year old driveway, sidewalk, and concrete pad in front of garage entrance which had broken, sunk, and shifted about an inch. They then re-poured, broom finished and then did a decorative diamond saw-cut pattern since I didn't want the standard "flat slab" look.

We got quotes from other competitors and they were 'over-kill' - recommending the only way to get the scuffs off was to grind down the floors and restain. That was totally unnecessary. Our floors look brand new. Thank you Nobel Concrete! We will refer you everywhere.

Description of Work: we had a driveway removed and a new one installed, along with a sidewalk. |the driveway is less then 2 years old and is showing great stress signs already. |Had to have them come back when they cemented in our chain link fence. Before they poured we had them come out to put a buffer between our edging and the cement. Then when they cemented in the chain link they acted as if it was my fault. They ssaid they wished I had told them before they cemented it, I told them I wish I had known before hand that there was even a possibility they would cement my chain link..

+ -1 moreValentine arrived at my home to give me an estimate in April or May 2014. She was extremely professional, personable, and really knows her business. She answered my multiple questions and was so very helpful. Of the five contractors that I asked to provide estimates, she was the most thorough. They were much more expensive than the other concrete contractors were so I was not able to afford their services. However, based on their responsiveness, professionalism, thoroughness, and knowledge of the industry, if you can afford them, I would recommend them.

+ 0 moreThey were very professional, quick, and their work was high quality. I would use them again, and will. Also, their pricing was very fair. Our job was very simple, but it is in the front of our house and they did a great job. They were also very quick. They cleared the area, created the forms, poured the concrete and cleaned up in 2 hours. Granted it was a small job, but they were great.

+ -1 more. Gave me a Veteran Discount. Busy calendar so I had to wait 6 weeks for the job. Also weather set back the schedule a bit. The crew was easy to work with a very professional. I am very pleased with the result. I would recommend Nobel Concrete to anyone. They were the highest bidder, but I am glad I chose them. The finished product presented a nice 'curb appeal.'
Description of Work: Removed old concrete slabs, prepared area for replacement, added additional areas, pumped in the concrete and finished the surface. Had to replace the approach by city requirements, which needed a permit; Nobel took care of that aspect. A week following the replacement, a crew was sent out to fill in the soil removed in preparation for the forms.

+ -1 moreI found out through research that this type of work should probably not be performed within 24 hours of wet weather. Our floor work was completed during an extended wet period. As a result the finish has some bubbling but you do have to know the bubbles are there... it's not the first think you see. The first thing you see is the absolutely beautiful work. Everyone who sees it is just overawed with the appearance (especially those who knew what we had before). In fact, some furniture delivery people were almost afraid to walk across it because they didn't want to damage our "marble" floor. :-) I'm picky, and if I had known about the potential of the wet weather to cause some bubbling I might have put off the work for a couple of weeks. However, bottom line, the work is beautiful and Val and the team were beyond concerned in following up with me to address all of my questions. A++ for customer care.

Description of Work: They took a lot of time selling the patio to us and took the information down accurately. They said 3 weeks earlier they would get a permit, call Miss Dig, etc. so that we wouldn't have to worry about a thing. The day before installation I had to call to follow up because Miss Dig hadn't arrived and we had electrical and cable in the area they'd be working in ... it didn't look like Miss Dig would make it out in time (they require 24 hour notice), but fortunately Miss Dig arrived in time for the scheduled pour. The removal of the old concrete patio went smoothly and the workers seemed to be respectful of the property. Unfortunately, when they set the frame they shorted us 3-/12 inches of concrete because they didn't figure in the size of the form, so it threw off our plan when installing stone columns with lighting (the electrical had to be down UNDER the concrete). We were told we'd get two coats of sealer, but it was obvious that didn't happen (or it was done very well at all)... I took photos of what looked like stress cracks, and of the lack of sealer, and mentioned being shorted the concrete, and sent it to them via email hoping that we would get an adjustment to the bill, but didn't receive a response to my concerns. The only response I got was a brief email saying that they didn't know if anything would be done about it, but they managed to attach the bill (which I paid just so I wouldn't have to deal with them anymore). Basically, I felt were were ignored once the job was done. They said they would send someone out to look at the stress cracks/sealer problem but it never happened. They finally agreed by phone to put a coat of sealer on (after we had already set up a screened room so it wasn't possible by then to disassemble it). We do enjoy having a patio, but I wouldn't use them again because of their lack of customer service not to mention not providing what was promised. We had planned to have a large circular driveway done next year by them, but after this disappointing experience, I wouldn't recommend them. If you are planning to have a decorative stamped patio installed, be sure to remove all items that might be stained by the black powder that they use to settle into the cracks of the design, and cover ponds, etc. The black powder turned the white patio fabric chairs grey, and if I had fish in the pond, they would have suffered. The dogs also went from white to grey after romping outside in the dust and it's very hard to remove. I would have done things differently IF they had warned me of this.

Isaac, the company's president, was always on time for our appointments, sent over the estimate and answers to our questions promptly, and spent time with us in their extremely impressive indoor and outdoor showroom. They were able to begin less than two weeks after we signed our contract. Our project involved a fair amount of excavation work, and the sub-contractors they hired were top-notch professionals with an impressive fleet of equipment. The form building and concrete pouring parts were led by Caleb, who did a wonderful job making sure that we were happy with things every step of the way. He and his crew were always on time, polite and professional, and it was obvious that they were all very skilled and hard workers. We do have some lawn repair to do, but only the kind that can't be avoided during a project of this nature. Originally, we were so impressed by Nobel Concrete's portfolio that we thought that we wouldn't be able to afford them. We are thrilled that did not turn out to be the case, and are now grateful for the mishap with the original company because we couldn't imagine a better outcome. We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone, and encourage you to hire them for your project even if their estimate is not the lowest - they will be more than worth it.
