Description of Work: Dan did a terrific job. He trimmed trees, took out a lot of overgrown vegetation, removed a concrete stone border, added soil to and lawn and seeded large areas, put in mulch, added river rock, did some planting and transplanting, and much more. It is a tremendous improvement and will be much easier to maintain. He left me detailed instructions on how to care for the lawn, and even sent a personal note when the job was completed. I would definitely recommend him and will work with him again in the future.

+ -1 moreThey did a great job. When a few glitches came along there was great communication so that we knew what was going on. We added the spring cleanup and removal of an additional shrub half way through the job and there were no problems.
Description of Work: Dan and his crew tore out approximately 18 old and overgrown (about 12 ft) arborvitae shrubs and took down 3 large cedar trees. He replaced them with 16 new arborvitae and one viburnum. He edged and did a general spring clean up as well as laying down new mulch in our entire back yard.

He not only incorporated our general wants but also asked me about my favorite flowers/trees and was able to incorporate those into our design. He was prompt, clean, and knew his stuff! He was able to be on budget and we felt he charged a very fair price! We still need to do the side and back yards and will hire none other than Mackinaw Landscaping! People we don't even know were stopping by to comment on the beauty of our landscaping!
Description of Work: Dan designed and then installed our entire front lawn landscaping.

+ -1 moreDan did an excellent job! He came when he said he was going to, listened to me and gave me what I wanted along with his professional ideas, and did excellent work. He brought me samples of pavers, gave me an estimate that he held to, was courteous, and cleaned up after himself. Dan had to dig out the area, compact gravel and sand, do a lot of angular cuts on the pavers, install them in the shape that I wanted, tamp them, and seal the pavers. My path is exactly how I want it, smooth, and beautiful!! I have other landscaping I need done in the spring and will be calling nobody but Mackinaw Landscaping. I trust them, enjoy working with them, and am very pleased with their work.
