These guys are consummate professionals. First, they responded to my voice mail very quickly and set up an appointment to meet with me in just a couple days. That day John called and asked if he could come a bit EARLY! John assessed the problem with the crack in my basement wall, gave me an estimate, and scheduled a day for repairs later in the same week. Chris showed up on the scheduled day, right on time, and explained all the steps of the process to me as he filled in the crack with polyurethane grout. He was pleasant, tidy, and informative. Estimate, labor, and materials all came to just $90.00. The service comes with a free 10-year warranty. I'd use these guys again in a heartbeat.

The work took approximately 5 hours to complete, and they told me to watch it closely to make sure that I did not see any additional water leaks in the foundation. I left the area open (they had to cut out drywall) for two months without incident and then had it redrywalled and painted. John was very thorough in trying to determine exactly where the leak originated before he started cutting into my drywall, which I appreciated. He approached the problem (cutting drywall) conservatively and branched out as needed. I would definitely recommend them.

Asked and then moved appointment to an earlier day, arrived promptly (a bit early!) and did the repair without problem. Now, we only need to get a repairman to replace the segment of the double stud that was removed, repair the sheetrock, and paint the area. (I told them I would provide my own repairman for the sheetrock. I did not know that studs would need to be cut. Then, again, neither did they.) I have no comparison for the cost of the repair. Georgetown Waterproofing was recommended to me by my builder.
Description of Work: Removed sheetrock and part of a double stud hiding a foundation crack and leak. Filled the leak with sealant. Tested the repair.

I was asked where I lived and how old my house was. i told the man on the phone that it was an older home built in 1926, he didn't even let me finish talking, and he said no. I said "Excuse me?" His reply was that he was just too busy right now and that if I was really interested to call back in a few weeks. I didn't even get a chance to tell him that the basement was part of a newer addition. Very rude and very unprofessional. The work I want done will be an expensive job, but I will give my business to someone who can at least give me the time of day.

Very nicely done and we now have peace of mind to finish the balance of the basement.
Description of Work: He not only repaired the crack by injecting it to seal it but helped us by placing a shield on the wall (we had a window underneath an added sunporch that made going outside impossible) to funnel the water below the foundation to prevent future leaks.

He did a great job. We needed him to come out relatively quick so he came out the next day which was a Saturday. While he was here he was very patient explaining his technique and answering my questions.

Very well
Description of Work: We are out-of-state homeowners. They were very accomodating in sending us photos of the work in progress. They dug a trench around 3 sides of the house and laid in pipes/drain to draw the water away from the cinder block walls and foundation. It was costly but effective so far.

We had more rain in the month of April 2011 than any month in history - per my city water folks. Discovered a leak behind a fabric panel (my walls) ... Dave, from Georgetown Roofing, came and spent the time to look, show me how we can be sure that it is the place leaking and gave me a firm price. Not so good with the paperwork as he had none to give me at the time - but did follow-up with it in writing since I always want it in writing. Later their copy of my quote was used to provide a signed, paid receipt. Doug, his father, also showed up promptly, for the job - when scheduled. As I said above, I'll write back if I have to have them come back but appears to be "no fuss-fixed." I did get another quote and that company appears to have a newer method that is better. However, no way that I should have been only shown this $750 method - plus a further option for more $ - for a wall crack that hasn't leaked for the 7 years I've lived here. I found it interesting that this company, previously not on Angie's List when I was looking, has since been added and given "F's" by two different people who used them for expensive work!
Description of Work: Basement wall crack was leaking. Standard way to handle this is $350 in this area. Wanted urethane foam - after doing my research and that is what better companies use. Actually, I am waiting 2 days to make sure no leaks (by running hose where we did before to test that that was where the leak was occurring). I am writing now with the presumption that it will not leak. I am to call them if it does and they will be back. He is pretty sure that I won't see this leak again.

The experience with Georgetown was excellent, from start to finish.
Description of Work: Had water in our finished basement after four inches of rain in one night. Almost accepted offer from other vendor to dig a trench around interior of our finished basement (with jackhammers!) and add a sump pump, but wanted to get a second opinion. Dave from Georgetown came out the day after my call and found the cause of the leak. For 1/20 of the cost of the other vendor, Georgetown plugged the leak and prevented jackhammers from entering our basement! Very pleased. Have had several HUGE rains since the repair and basement is bone-dry!
