Mold Test Company MI

Keith was wonderful. He came out the next day and answered all my questions. Peter called me with the results and explained what he saw. The only thing that bothered me was he gave me a phone number of a company for me to talk to. I had not read all the report before they called me. I was not ready to discuss anything until I understood what I was dealing with. I did not go with that company.

The first thing the tech did when he came in was try to sell me an upgrade, Looked around, but took no samples, just pointed out suspicious activity on the floor joist. He brought no ladder, but needed one to look in attic. Then all he did was stick his head in opening with a flashlight. He did not fully enter.DID 2 air tests. One on main floor, the other in basement. Don't know how they get sample of floors, ceilings, and walls. Haven't received report yet, but not fully sure it will be accurate.

Henry came to our house. He was very knowledgeable about mold and what to look for. He answered all my questions and was very helpful. Peter who called me with the results was very nice and answered my questions. He even called back the next day when he noticed that an email he sent me didn t go through. They gave me a lot of information to help me continue my search to get rid of my mold and poor air flow.

The only reason I did not give a full five stars is that I have no basis of comparison. I will say that the tech was prompt and certainly seemed to know what he was looking for. he also explained the process very clearly and seemed very thorough. I later received a call giving me more detail, which I greatly appreciated.

They were more knowledgeable than any other company I spoke with, and had the most certifications of anyone and I would highly recommend them!

These guys are pro's from the word GO! They answered every question we had. And offered us additional testing for mycotoxins and bacteria. Great job!

Inspector was a bit hard to understand

The guy that came out was honest with us and gave us guidance in how to attack the problem.

I thought he did a good job explaining what he did do but very disappointed they didn't explain that you had to pay a lot extra money to actually find out what kind of mold if any you had. The $199.00 fee they only looked for mold & tested the air quality. If they found any mold it cost a lot more to find out what type. He did say we had mold in our crawl space but not what kind, that cost more money. Overall good for what he did do.

They never informed me about my result. I felt like they cheated my if my money. Bad reviews, credit card company and state licensing board will be notified.

The technician is very helpful, pleasant and professional. He is currently working with us.

The project was scheduled for 11/27/18 but was rescheduled for the next day. I hired them and the technician charged $846.00- this was much higher than original quote. I had to ask for a copy of the paperwork after the the payment on the charges tchnician stated the company would send me a receipt. I made a copy and stopped the payment. The technician claimed we have mold in the HVAC system yet run air quality tests with the system off even after I asked to turn it on. I have not received any results from this test. Test conducted 11/28/18. The company stated results would be back 7 - 10 business days. I have to find another company to do the air quality test in my home because my wife is ill and I cannot trust the results from this company even if I get them.

Mr Henry Smith was on time, very professional at what he does he not only expained to me what was going on he made sure he answered all of my questions and concerns talking to him about my experience in my home he understood me he was able too show me areas around the outside of my home and pin point the possibility of how and,where the problems occurred I learned a lot mist of all always have my home tested before moving in this would savee and my love ones alot of health issues pain and suffering in the future I would highly recommend the mold testing company to any and everyone who needs assistance with mold it is so worth it thanks Mr Henry Smith and the molding company

I was very pleased with Ken Wall with Firecracker Home Inspections.

Unbelievably expensive. Charged $1,160 for a 1000sqft cabin, then did not test the crawl space and balked at testing more than one room on each level (2br, 2ba w/laundry room). The tech was influenced by our tenant and his reaction was alarming. We were so concerned we hired another company for a second opinion. AND.... we have yet to see the laboratory results.

They weren't forthcoming about additional testing. Base inspection $299 then additional $400+ for lab testing. Wish I had known for vendor comparison purposes. However, I think it was worth it. Owner said the techs need to be instructed to say it was optional, but it helps you better understand the mold your dealing with. Glad I did it but not sure if it could have been done for less.
