I hired a company for mold testing. They came out quickly which is what I wanted and many companies were unwilling to do. I did not want a company to do testing and remediation. I wanted testing alone. I got my testing and then the hard sell to another company for self remediation. I dislike the scare tactics employed. The mold testing is the basis for their sales pitch to use another company to sell mold remediation products. I would not rely upon the company for any information interpreting the test results. I would find someone who is independent to tell you what the test results mean. Again, this is because your questions are filtered through a hard sales pitch.

The only thing was that the person I talked to on the phone did not mention that all the windows should be closed when they test the inside air. My husband got home and opened the windows since it was a nice day. The technition mentioned it when he got at my home and of course by that time it was too late. Interesting to see what my results are going to be.

7-10 days for report... It has been 16 and still we wait..

We had remediation company come out after we got results and they said they did not do enough testing and report was just a template so we have to have more testing done.

We were pleased with the person (Mika) who performed the air quality inspection in our house. We are now awaiting the results.

I have not heard anything about the test. I don't recieve anything. I was told it would be back in 7 days. I was told I would get a written report. The Tech don't have a ladder or any way to check attic. I'm really not sure what to think.

My previous review of the company was absolutely inaccurate. I got my mold test back from the Senior Mold Analyst, which I found out those credentials don't even exist from a reputable company in my area. He said that the mold in my house was toxic mold and was harmful to my children and my family, which of course had me in tears because I didn't know what I was exposing my family to. He transferred me to BioSide labs where I talked to a guy named Steve. He told me about all of these chemicals that I needed to buy in order to remediate my entire home to the tune of $1500. He said he was giving me his discount and was giving me free shipping and no sales tax, otherwise it would have been over $2000 for this stuff. We didn't use their material, we rented a fogger from Home Depot and spent about $300 on the same stuff. We remediated and a couple of weeks later my dad comes in my house telling me it smells like mold again. I called a reputable company in my area, who does all the water/mold remediation for our major healthcare system. I sent him a copy of my mold report from The Mold Test Company. Explained to him a little bit about what was going on and what MTC told me. He came to my house for FREE to check out the situation. He printed off a copy of the;mold report that was sent to me. Basically out of the 19 page cookie cutter report 2 pages are specific to my house. The rest of the report goes on about how hazardous the mold is in my house and lawsuits that have been filed. The man from the company that came to my house today said there is no active mold in my house and there is definitely no active toxic mold that could be harmful to my children or my husband and I. There could be some water coming in behind a wall because there is no gutter on the roof so when it rains its all going to the foundation of my house. Its an easy fix, rip out the wall, patch up whatever could be causing the source of the water and replace the drywall with a mold proof drywall. I am IRRITATED beyond belief. These people saw me coming a million miles away. All they had to say was toxic mold & children &and harmful and they had me hook, line and sinker...Thankfully my husband has a more level head and didn'tt spend the money. DO NOT use Mold Test Company...find a company that is local to you that has a good reputation. This place is going to scam you! I called and spoke to Reid who was more than helpful and forthcoming with pricing and what was included in the price. They sent out Devin who was awesome! He came in my home and was some personable it was like we had been friends for years. While he was waiting for certain tests to be completed he and my husband talked sports, we talked about our kids. He played with my son all the while being very professional. I was very impressed with his knowledge and experience and his ability to put me at ease about the possibility of having a mold issue somewhere in my home. The Mold Test Company MI is lucky to have an employee like Devin and Reid!

Length of time to wait for test results unsatisfactory.

They knew It was for an attic but no ladder with technician. After I provided a ladder I was told that he was not allowed to step on the rafters. I ended up in the attic with their machine, so I could get the test completed. Then the result call came to tell me I have bad mold issues all throughout the house. It is a 3-year-old house. I just wanted the attic checked because we had some roof issues and some water leaked in. I am really skeptical of the results, and I am seeking another company to make sure.

Need the Co2 and humidity levels recorded, to give to my Condo assoc. Had to fight to get a copy. Was supposed to receive the Lab results and written report on 6-5 was given a report for someone in California. Promised calls about results that never happened. After texting again finally got written report on 6-11 a week after supposed to. All in all I will never hire this company again.

The local inspector is so sloppy that what was told by the customer service rep, it was not explained well by the local inspector. Lack of professionalism.

They offer a complete service without any conflict of interest. They also offered a wide variety of testing that other companies did not provide. Without the numerous testing capabilities, i wouldn't of got the answers i needed. Highly recommend to anybody sick, purchasing a home or have had any type of moisture intrusion.
